Lord Jesus please grant

We thank God with you for the faith you have shown in bringing your whole family before the Lord Jesus, and for your thanksgiving for all He has already done. Your desire for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity is good and right, and we join you in asking the Father to act according to His mercy and power.

Scripture teaches that God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and that His death is the salvation of the world. There is salvation in no other name, and it comes through Jesus Christ alone, who bore our sins and made reconciliation for us. As it is written, now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. We pray that every member of your family would hear this word and turn to Christ in repentance and faith while the door is open, for His arm is not too short to save. We ask that the Lord would pour His love into your hearts, give you new hearts and new minds, restore your souls, and cause the fruit of the Holy Spirit to be manifest in love, peace and joy.

You have asked for protection according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5 and other promises, for a wall of fire around you and for warrior angels to surround you. We pray with you for the Lord's keeping power over you and your household, over your sleep, your home, your work, your school and your coming and going. At the same time we remember that hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation. There is required a careful hearing of the word and a continual recollection of it, together with fortitude and a turning away from worldly cares and the deceitfulness of riches. We encourage you to continue not only in prayer but in hearing the word, obeying it at home and abroad and in the church, and in patient endurance. Affliction that is endured with patience works comfort and salvation, and makes us partakers with Christ. Do not lean on your own understanding, but trust Him daily and walk in what you hear.

For the many burdens you named, for healing according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, for the breaking of every curse through Christ who became a curse for us that we might receive the blessing, for the restoration of what seems hopelessly broken according to Joel 2:25, we ask the Lord for His healing and deliverance. We pray for physical healing, for inner wounds to be healed, for minds to be renewed, for strength and encouragement in the midst of ongoing attacks and painful circumstances.

Concerning the relationships and family members you mentioned, we pray as you have prayed that the Lord would intervene with holiness and wisdom. We do not ask God to bless relationships that are outside His design, but we ask Him to bring every relationship into conformity with His will. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. Where relationships have been dysfunctional, harmful or impure, we pray that God would give repentance, set boundaries, grant deliverance, and either make the relationship holy and whole according to His word or graciously end what is not of Him and prevent further harm. We pray for purity, for favor in school for the right reasons, for supernatural confidence in Christ, for help with homework and understanding, for teachers and fellow students to act with kindness and truth, and for wounds from past relationships to be healed by the Lord.

We also hear your confession about venting behind another's back and expressing frustration to others, and about fear. We thank God for your honesty. We pray that He would forgive you through the blood of Jesus, teach you to speak with grace and truth, and bring reconciliation where there is conflict. For those who have hurt you, we pray not with an unlawful prayer for vengeance, but for God's justice to restrain evil, for protection for the vulnerable, for comfort for those who suffer, and for the salvation even of those who oppose you, that they too might come to repentance.

For your prayer gatherings, your devotions, your evening of prayer this Friday, your prayer ministry and your sermon preparation, we ask that the Lord would anoint, protect, guide and empower you. May He give you exactly what to say from His word, use it for salvation, and draw many to pray together and to seek the outpouring of His Spirit. We pray for your new responsibilities, for work, for vacation and for daily guidance, that He would lead you step by step and give you success as you walk in obedience.

We join our faith with yours and pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on this family. Save those who are not yet saved, deliver those who are bound, heal those who are sick and wounded, and restore what the enemy has broken. Surround this household with Your protection, forgive sins, remove what is not of You, and establish what is holy. Give supernatural trust and faith, fill hearts with Your love, and cause Your word to dwell richly and be obeyed. Grant encouragement, strength and breakthrough, and let Your name be glorified in every part of these lives. Amen.

Your honest cry for your family is heard, and the pain and pressure you have carried for so long is not hidden from the Lord. He sees the attacks and the hurt you have endured, and He invites you to trust Him with your whole heart rather than leaning on your own understanding. He is faithful to keep you and to give you strength as you wait on Him, and it is right to thank Him for what He has already done while you continue to look to Him for complete deliverance, healing and salvation.

I join you in asking for the Lord's covering over you and your household. Scripture presents Him as a shield and a refuge, as a wall of fire around His people, and as the One who commands His angels to encamp around those who fear Him. No weapon formed against you will finally prosper, and nothing can separate you from His love in Christ. In Jesus alone we have protection, for His blood was shed for us and His Spirit dwells with us. I pray that you would know that nearness and that peace, and that your sleep and your daily steps would be guarded by Him.

You have asked for salvation and deliverance for your whole family. The Lord's arm is not too short to save. He promises that all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved, and that when one believes on the Lord Jesus Christ, He brings salvation into the home. I pray with you that each member of your family would turn to Jesus, be born again, receive a new heart and a new mind, and be filled with His love poured into the heart by the Holy Spirit. May He restore your souls, bring reconciliation where it is according to His will, and create unity that is rooted in truth, with the fruit of the Spirit becoming evident in love, joy, peace and all His gracious work.

Concerning healing, I want to encourage you with how Scripture shows the Lord healing in different ways. There is one account where Jesus laid His hands on a blind man and the man was healed gradually, seeing at first only partially and then fully. That reminds us that healing is not always instant. Sometimes the Lord touches immediately, sometimes He brings healing gradually, and sometimes He works through the natural processes of healing that He Himself created in our bodies. All healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or over time, and He also heals the wounds of the heart and mind, lifting the scars that painful experiences have left.

At the same time, the Bible is honest that we do not understand why some are healed physically in this life and others are not. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient. This teaches us not to assume that continued sickness or struggle means there is hidden sin or a lack of faith. God is able to heal today, and we should keep asking Him with faith, while also trusting His wisdom and sovereignty when His answer is to sustain us through the trial rather than remove it at once.

You quoted the promise that Christ bore our infirmities, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew applied to Jesus, and that by His wounds we are healed. That suffering of Christ certainly includes our physical healing, and it surely includes our deepest spiritual healing from sin. We can bring both body and soul to Him with confidence, asking for His mercy, and resting in His perfect will.

You also prayed that every curse would be broken and turned to blessing, and that what seems hopelessly broken would be restored. That is indeed the work of Christ. He became a curse for us so that blessing might come to us, and He promises to restore the years that have been eaten away. I have seen Him take lives that were deeply broken by sin and pain and rebuild them, restoring sanity, family and hope when others had written them off. He is still the God who restores.

For the many specific burdens you carry, for school and teachers, for understanding and homework, for work and new responsibilities, for conflicts and for words spoken in frustration or fear, I pray that the Lord would give you wisdom, supernatural confidence in Him, and favor where it is needed. Where there are relationships that have been painful and dysfunctional, I pray not that God would bless what does not honor Him, but that He would bring conviction, purity, protection and deliverance. Marriage is His design as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within that covenant. I pray He would guard your loved ones from harmful entanglements, heal deep wounds, break unhealthy patterns, and lead each person into holiness and wholeness in Christ. Where reconciliation is right and holy, may He bring it. Where separation is needed for protection and godliness, may He give courage to walk in His way.

Thank you for confessing where you have vented in frustration and acted in fear. The Lord is merciful to forgive when we confess, and He is able to help you respond with kindness and love even in adversity. He can confront what is wrong and comfort those who are wounded, and He can teach you to speak and act in a way that builds up.

I also join you in praying for your times of prayer together and for the sharing of the Word. May the Lord anoint those gatherings, draw hearts to pray, guide you in all preparations, give you the very words to speak, and use His Word to bring salvation and encouragement. May His love prevail in every situation and may He be glorified in a mighty way in your lives.

Father, in the holy name of Jesus, I bring this family before You. Cover them, save them, deliver them, heal them according to Your perfect will, restore what the enemy has tried to steal, pour Your love into their hearts, renew their minds, and lead them in Your truth. Give supernatural trust and faith, strength for today and hope for what is to come. Let Your will be done in each life, and let Your peace guard them. Amen.
