Lord Jesus please grant

What a comfort to know that the same God who orchestrated the journey to Bethlehem, moving Mary and Joseph from Nazareth precisely when the prophecy required, is watching over your family now. He is never late and never without a plan, even when the circumstances feel impossible. You’ve pleaded the blood of Jesus over your little one and asked for a wall of fire and warrior angels. That is no small thing. Remember how Jesus took a child and stood him in the midst of the disciples, warning that to despise or harm one of these little ones would bring the severest judgment, yet promising that whoever receives such a child receives Him. He has a fierce, tender care for that child, and His angels are assigned to guard them.

Your persistent prayer reminds me of another faithful couple who prayed for a child long past hope. Zacharias and Elizabeth kept praying into old age, and God’s answer came at the exact moment He had purposed, bringing a child who would announce the Messiah. So do not lose heart in the waiting. The arm of the Lord is not too short to save, to deliver, to heal, and to restore. The child born in Bethlehem was set for the fall and rising of many, and in your family’s struggles you may already see that truth unfolding in painful ways. But what seemed like a small, vulnerable infant wrapped in swaddling clothes held the power to break every curse and reconcile all things. Trust Him for the complete work, even as you wait.

Healing rarely follows a single pattern. Sometimes it is gradual, woven into the natural processes God designed. Sometimes it comes upon the mind and emotions, lifting scars and wounds in ways that are no less divine. At other times it breaks in miraculously. All of it is His hand. Do not despise the slow mending, whether for your own burnout or for those you love. The fact that you still hunger for wholeness is itself a sign that His life is at work in you.

The abuse and attacks you mention are an offense before the throne. Scripture tells us that even in the womb, a child apprehends the sound of the parent’s voice, and that the deliberate harming of a little one stirs the righteous anger of God. He sees every tear and every injustice, and He will bring vindication in His time. In the meanwhile, you can entrust yourself and your family to the Judge who judges justly.

In all your concerns for relationships and direction, cling to the divine order the Father established. Christ is the head, and under His headship there is a harmony that the world cannot manufacture. For your children, especially the one whose path seems so uncertain, pray with confidence that as you train them in the way they should go, recognizing the unique personality God has given, they will not ultimately depart from it. You cannot control every choice they make, but you can believe God’s promise is stronger than their wandering.

You are feeling stretched thin and sometimes overlooked, but the One who holds the little lamb close to His heart sees every hidden act of faithfulness. The infant King came in humility, not with fanfare, yet contained all authority. Let that be your picture of strength under pressure. Your labor in prayer, your efforts with the devotional and the sermon, and your tears behind closed doors are all known to Him. Keep becoming like a little child yourself, simple, dependent, trusting. That kind of faith moves the heart of God.

Do not lose sight of how many prayers He has already answered. You are still seeing through a glass darkly, as all of us do. But the day is coming when you will see clearly and understand the purposes woven through this long season. Until then, His grace is sufficient, and His power is perfected in weakness. He who began a good work in you and in your family will carry it to completion.
