Beloved of All
Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly before the Lord. Your prayer shows both deep pain from ongoing attacks and abuse and also deep thankfulness for what God has already done. God sees the difficulty you have walked through and He hears you when you choose to trust Him rather than leaning on your own understanding.
You asked for strong protection for your family and for yourself, pleading the blood of Jesus and asking for a wall of fire around you and for angels to surround you. Scripture does give that comfort. The Lord is a shield around His people, His angel encamps around those who fear Him, He promises to be a wall of fire, and that no weapon formed against His own will finally prevail. The Lord is faithful and will guard you from the evil one. That protection is not a formula but a relationship. It is found by being in Jesus Christ, under His covering through faith.
The name Jesus itself tells us where that security comes from. In Hebrew it means Jehovah is salvation. That name declares His mission. He came to bring God's salvation to us. He is called great, the Son of the Highest, and He has raised up a horn of salvation for us, which speaks of power. The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Salvation is great because it is open to all. Whoever will may come, whoever believes in Him will not perish. There is no escape if we neglect it, and there is no other way to come to God except through Him. It is not something we can earn. God in His grace initiates it, draws us, gives faith to believe, and does the work in us. Even the desire you have for your family to be saved is God working in you to will and to do His good pleasure, and He will work out the ways to fulfill what He has begun.
You also prayed for deliverance and healing, and you quoted the promise that by His wounds we are healed and that He will restore health. The prophet Isaiah said He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and the Gospels show Jesus fulfilling that by healing the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and multitudes who were sick and oppressed. He has authority in the physical realm and in the spiritual realm, and He commanded unclean spirits and they obeyed. He still heals today, and we should ask Him for healing of body, mind, and heart. At the same time, the greatest miracle He does in any life is the salvation of the soul, the forgiveness of sins. That is of even greater value than physical healing. Scripture also shows that even faithful servants were at times sick and not instantly healed, yet God was still with them and at work. So we keep asking for healing while resting in His wisdom and love.
You asked for new hearts and minds, for love poured into your hearts, for the fruit of the Holy Spirit, for restored souls, for curses broken and turned to blessing, and for what seems hopelessly broken to be restored. God promises exactly these things in Christ. He pours His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, He promises to give a new heart and put a new spirit within, to restore the soul, to redeem us from the curse through the cross so that blessing may come upon us, and to restore the years that have been lost. These are His works of grace as we walk with Him, hear His Word and do it. Those who hear and obey are His true family, and He builds them together as a dwelling place for Himself.
For the many specific burdens you carry, for family members by name, for school and teachers, for homework and understanding, for trauma and the deep wounds of rejection and abandonment, for sleep, for work and new responsibilities, for conflicts where you have felt overlooked and for words spoken in frustration that you regret, bring each one to Jesus in repentance and faith. Where relationships have been dysfunctional and painful, do not ask God to bless what is outside His design. Ask Him instead to bring deliverance, healing, purity, and clear boundaries, to give favor where it is needed and to stop what would lead to further harm. God's design for intimacy is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and outside of that He calls us to holiness and wholeness. Pray for supernatural confidence that is rooted in Him, for wisdom for school and work, for peace in sleep, and for comfort for those who have been hurt.
You also prayed for your times of prayer together and for the ministry of the Word, that God would anoint, protect, and guide, and that He would work in hearts to draw people to pray. God delights to meet with His people when they gather in Jesus' name and to empower the preaching of His Word for salvation.
While you wait for complete deliverance, healing, and salvation for all, keep giving thanks as you are already doing. Do not lose sight of what He has done. He heard you in the time of His favor and helped you in the day of salvation, and He continues to hear. Ask Him to keep pouring out encouragement and strength, to keep you from fear, and to grow supernatural trust and faith in you.
Let us pray together. Lord Jesus, You are Jehovah our salvation. We come through Your blood alone and ask for Your covering over this family. Be their shield and wall of fire, command Your angels to guard them, and guard them from the evil one. Save each one who has not yet believed, pour Your grace upon them, give them faith to believe and a new heart to follow You. Heal what is sick and wounded in body and soul, deliver from oppression, break every curse through Your cross and turn it to blessing, restore the soul and restore what has been broken. Pour Your love into their hearts by the Holy Spirit and cause the fruit of love, joy, and peace to grow. Teach them to trust You with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding. Bring godly order to relationships, heal trauma and rejection, give wisdom for school and work, give peaceful sleep, reconcile what is divided according to Your will, and forgive where there has been sin. Anoint their prayers and the hearing of Your Word, and use it for salvation. We ask this in Your holy name, Jesus, amen.
