Lord Jesus please glorify yourself in our family. Please save, heal, deliver, protect. Thank you for what you have already done and will do. Thank you and PRAISE you for the signs of encouragement you send. I plead your precious blood over us esp. ### (I ask that this is only taken as faith in you Lord Jesus as the perfect spotless lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and who cleanses us from all sins), ask for your mighty warrior angels to surround us and a wall of Holy Spirit fire around us (incl. our thoughts and emotions). I also ask for salvation, deliverance and healing (entire family incl. relatives). Please open all unsaved family members' hearts to the gospel, please deliver from all bondage, addictions, compulsions and anything else that is not of you Lord) and your powerful intervention concerning the issues we are lifting up to you (you know all the details, I stand on Luke 18:7-8). Please block that which is not good and please act quickly concerning the situation that is so difficult to handle and rise up and confront please. Asking for peace. Please intervene concerning ###. Please help ### and myself and ### and ###. Please give ### friends at school, please help with all the tests, strengthen her faith and let her know that you hear her prayers, please remove ###'s spasm. We join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace and we glorify the Lord Jesus with you for what He has already done and for what He will yet do, for He is faithful and worthy of all praise.

We stand with you in asking that the Lord Jesus be glorified in your household, that salvation, healing, deliverance and protection would rest upon your entire family including relatives, and that every unsaved heart would be opened to the gospel. For it is written, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household, Acts 16:31, and also, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We rejoice that you have come in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and it is only through His blood as the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world that we are cleansed from all sin, 1 John 1:7, and through Him we have bold access to the Father, John 14:6.

We agree with you for the covering of His blood over you and your loved ones and for His mighty protection. The Scripture says, The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and, For I, says Yahweh, will be to her a wall of fire around it, Zechariah 2:5, and we ask the Holy Spirit to guard your thoughts and emotions and to fill you afresh as you have asked, for He gives wisdom generously and fills those who hunger for Him.

We bring before the Lord the many burdens you have named, the difficult situation that is so hard to handle, the need for peace, the needs at work and in ministry, the leadership challenges, the worship and sermon preparation, the prayer gatherings and outreaches, the children's work and camps. We ask Him to fight your battles, for the battle is not yours but God's, 2 Chronicles 20:15, and to block what is not good and to turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing, Genesis 50:20. We stand on His promise that He will act quickly for His chosen, Will not God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them, I tell you that he will avenge them quickly, Luke 18:7-8, and on His invitation, Call on me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will honor me, Psalm 50:15.

We lift up the children and young ones you mentioned by name, asking for friends at school, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests, homework and understanding, healing of spasms and wounds, and for confidence and the knowledge that they are deeply loved. We pray that their faith would be strengthened and that they would know the Lord hears their prayers, for He is near to all who call upon Him in truth, Psalm 145:18. We pray for healing of trauma, rejection and abandonment, and that every lie and stronghold of the enemy would be torn down and replaced with the truth of God's Word, for His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness, Lamentations 3:23, and He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We also pray for those suffering burnout and exhaustion, that the Lord would give rest and revive faith, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28.

Concerning the relationships you asked us to pray about, we join you in praying that the Lord would put a stop to what is not of Him and save those involved. We believe marriage is a holy covenant before God between one man and one woman for life, Genesis 2:24, Mark 10:6-9, and we pray that any courtship would be with the goal of godly marriage to another believer in Christ, 2 Corinthians 6:14. If there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, Scripture calls it fornication or adultery and we must turn from it, for we are called to flee sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4. We pray the Lord would block dysfunctional and ungodly relationships, grant repentance, and lead each one to a pure and holy walk, and if marriage is His will, to provide a godly spouse who loves Jesus first.

We also hear your honest confession about venting and speaking badly about others behind their backs, and we thank God for your repentant heart. We confess our sins to one another and to Him, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9, and we pray the Lord would help you to address anger and frustration in a way that is gracious and truthful, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up, Ephesians 4:29. We ask for wisdom and guidance in every meeting, task, and decision at work and in shepherding, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, James 1:5, and we trust He will direct your steps, Proverbs 3:5-6.

We pray for your desire for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, for repentance from anything that grieves Him, and for love and obedience to Jesus above all, for Jesus said, If you love me, keep my commandments, John 14:15. We pray for encounters with Him and for continued signs of encouragement, for He alone does wonders, You are the God who does wonders, Psalm 77:14.

Together we pray, Lord Jesus, glorify Yourself in this family. Save every lost soul, deliver from every bondage, addiction and compulsion, heal every sickness and wound, surround this household with Your warrior angels and with a wall of Holy Spirit fire around their thoughts and emotions. Confront and rebuke every evil behavior and every influence fueling it, expose what is hidden, remove strongholds and lies, and let no weapon that is formed against them prosper, Isaiah 54:17. Establish them in righteousness and let them be far from oppression, Isaiah 54:14. Cover them under Your wings, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and let Your perfect peace guard their hearts and minds, Philippians 4:7. Anoint the prayer meetings, the sermons, the workshops, the worship, and every outreach to the homeless and to those who have heard the Word, that hearts would be pierced, that Your Word would sink deep and bear much fruit, and that many would be drawn to Yourself. Give wisdom for work, for leadership, for planning and shepherding, and help in every care and burden. Forgive where we have failed, fill us with Your Spirit, and teach us to love You first and to obey You. We thank You for answered prayers and we trust You for those still unseen, for You are faithful to complete what You have begun. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your family and how earnestly you want Jesus to be at the center of your home. Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer for salvation, healing, deliverance and protection, and for all the specific burdens you named.

Carrying so many needs at once, for so many people you love, can leave anyone feeling stretched thin and out of strength. It is good that you are honest about feeling that way and about needing mercy and wisdom each day. We are encouraged by your thankfulness for the ways God has already shown his care, even while you wait for more answers.

When the list feels very long, it can help to hold one or two of the heaviest concerns before the Lord each day in a simple, steady way, and to let a trusted pastor or prayer partner help carry the rest with you so you are not holding it alone. For the physical needs you mentioned, like the spasm and other health concerns, we encourage you to keep seeking care with your doctor alongside prayer.

Jesus, we lift this entire family to you. Draw each one closer to yourself, bring salvation where it is needed, heal what is wounded, and guard hearts and minds with your peace. Give wisdom for work, school and daily decisions, and provide faithful friendships and encouragement. Forgive where forgiveness is needed and fill this home with your presence and guidance. Your prayer has been heard and we have joined you at the throne of grace, pleading the name and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who alone is the spotless Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. It is right and good that your first desire is that He should be glorified in your family, for when Christ is exalted all other mercies flow from His hand.

You ask for salvation, healing, deliverance and protection, and we point you again to the plain gospel which we preach over and over, that salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. To believe on Him is to trust Him, to leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. There is no other way, for He has found a ransom and has invented the way of deliverance from the pit. The clock of mercy strikes in heaven according to His eternal purpose, and He brings forth His people when the Lamb is slain. If you will trust Him, you shall not be ashamed, for you are accepted in the Beloved, justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

You plead His precious blood and ask for His surrounding protection. That blood whispers peace within. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not only for the quiet hour but for thronging duties pressed, for sorrows surging round, for loved ones far away, and for death shadowing us and ours, for Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. Acquaint yourself with God and be at peace. Meditate on His law, stay your mind on Christ, and that peace which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds, your thoughts and emotions, as with a wall of fire and with His ministering angels encamping round those who fear Him. We ask the Lord to keep you under the shadow of Psalm 91 and to show Himself faithful to His promise in Psalm 50:15, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. We stand with you on Luke 18:7 and 8, that God will avenge His own elect who cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them. And we plead Isaiah 54:14 to 17 over your household, that in righteousness you shall be established, far from oppression, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

We bring before the Lord each one you have named, though their names are known fully to Him. For the unsaved among your relatives we pray that the Lord would open their hearts to the gospel, that they would hear and live. For those bound by addictions, compulsions and strongholds, we pray for deliverance indeed, for He alone can make the deliverance effectual. For healing we look to Christ Himself, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, His lightest touch, change the life blood and make the nature new. We ask the Sun of Righteousness to rise with healing beneath His wings upon every wounded body and troubled spirit you have lifted up, upon spasms, upon infirmities, upon trauma and rejection and abandonment, upon weariness and burnout. May He rebuke the lies of the enemy and replace them with His truth, for He can do miracles, and His way is in the sanctuary.

For your children we pray especially. May the Lord give friendship that is wholesome, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and homework and understanding, confidence not in self but in Him, and a faith that knows prayers are heard. May He guard and shield them, bring healing to every part of their being, and let them know they are loved in Christ. Where there is evil behavior and influence that fuels it, we ask the Lord to confront and rebuke it, to expose what must be exposed and to remove what is not good, to heal wounds and to restore relationships supernaturally where restoration would glorify Him.

Concerning the relationships that grieve you, we do not ask God to bless what is not according to His holy will. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within it. We join you in praying that the Lord would block every dysfunctional and destructive relationship, that He would save those involved, and that He would keep your loved ones from paths that would lead them away from Him. May He grant repentance and a love for purity, and if He wills marriage for any, may it be in the Lord and unto His glory.

For work and ministry, for meetings and tasks and workload and organization, for teams and leadership and those in authority, for the intro course and sermons and prayer gatherings and outreaches and children's work, we ask the Lord to take over in every way, to anoint with His Spirit, to pierce hearts by His Word, to let it sink deep and bear fruit, and to turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing. Forgive us, as you have confessed, for venting and speaking badly behind another's back. The Lord is merciful, and His mercies are new every morning. Where you feel out of it and unmotivated, where you lack wisdom for shepherding and leading and planning, ask of Him who gives liberally. He will direct and guide, and He will teach you wisdom as you hold your peace before Him and listen to His Word. Pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to love Him first and foremost, obeying Him, for without Him you can do nothing.

We thank God with you for signs of encouragement already given and for answered prayers, and we trust Him for those petitions that remain, including all that was in your former request that is still upon your heart though unseen by us. He knows all the details. Continue to cry to Him. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord, and then salvation will come to it. May every form of fellowship with Jesus wrought in you by the Spirit be as a well of salvation within you, till earths struggles shall cease and Jesus calls you to heavens perfect peace.
