Beloved of All
We have heard your cry and we join you in lifting your family before the Lord Jesus, giving thanks with you for what He has already done and for the signs of encouragement He has sent.
We agree with you that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin by His blood. There is no other name by which we are saved, and His death is for the salvation of the world. We pray that every unsaved member of your family and all your relatives would hear the gospel and respond while now is the acceptable time and the day of salvation. We ask that God would open hearts, grant true repentance for anything that grieves Him, and fill you all with His Holy Spirit, teaching you to love Him first and to obey Him.
We bring before Him your requests for healing, deliverance and protection. We ask for His mercy, which is new every morning, to cover you, for His presence to guard your thoughts and emotions, for His holy angels to encamp around you, and for His power to deliver from every bondage, addiction, compulsion and anything that is not of Him. We ask for His healing touch upon every body and mind you have named, including the spasm and the wounds and trauma and burnout you mentioned, and for His peace to rule in your home. As you stand on Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91 and Isaiah 54:14 to 17, we ask Him to be your refuge and to let no weapon formed against you prosper, and as you stand on Luke 18:7 to 8, we trust He hears the cry of His people and will act in His perfect time.
Concerning relationships, we pray as you have prayed, that the Lord would save and bring deliverance. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we ask Him to bring every relationship into conformity with His holy will, that marriage would be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that purity would be kept within it. Where there is a dysfunctional or harmful relationship, we ask Him to convict, to expose what is true, to remove strongholds and lies, to block what is not good, and to either transform it according to His truth or to put a stop to it and lead each person to salvation and wholeness in Christ. We pray also for your daughter and others you named, that God would give good friendships, favor with teachers and classmates, confidence in Him, help with tests and homework and understanding, and a deep assurance that He hears their prayers.
We lift up your work and all the practical burdens you carry, the meetings, tasks, workload, organization, planning, strategy and shepherding, the teams and leadership and those you are trying to reach. We ask for wisdom and direction, for God to take over where you feel out of it and unmotivated, for Him to turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing, and for grace to forgive where you have spoken badly about others and to make things right where needed.
Remember that hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation. The Lord calls us to careful hearing and continual recollection, to fortitude and to turning away from the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, cultivating every part of virtue. Whether in affliction or comfort, all is for your comfort and salvation as you patiently endure and partake both in the sufferings of Christ and in His comfort. Continue to call upon Him, to repent, to seek His Word and to walk in it, trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful.
We pray for your prayer gatherings, for the outreaches, for the children's ministry and camps, for sermons and workshops and worship, that God would anoint them, pierce hearts, let His Word sink deep and bear lasting fruit, and draw many to Himself.
May the Lord grant you encounters with Him, strengthen your faith, guard and shield you, heal every part of your being, and give you breakthrough and encouragement in His time. We thank Him with you for answered prayers and trust Him for what is still to come. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
