Beloved of All
We join you in lifting your whole family before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving for what He has already done and for the signs of encouragement He has sent. Your cry for Him to glorify Himself in your home, to save, heal, deliver and protect is heard, and we stand with you on His promises that He will call His people to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver, that those who dwell in His shelter rest under His shadow, and that no weapon formed against His people shall prosper.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ alone, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin, that His blood would cover you and your household, your thoughts and emotions, and that He would surround you with His protection. We ask Him to command His angels to guard you and to keep you by His Spirit. We ask for the salvation of every unsaved family member and relative, that God would open hearts to receive the gospel, deliver from all bondage, addiction, compulsion and everything that is not of Him, and bring each one into salvation through faith in Christ alone.
We bring before Him the difficult situations you have lifted up, trusting His word that He will bring about justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night and will not delay. We ask Him to block what is not good and to act quickly to bring peace, to confront what is evil and to heal what is wounded. For your children and loved ones we ask for healing of body and mind, for the removal of spasms and pain, for healing of trauma, rejection and abandonment, for the renewing of thoughts with His truth, for confidence and assurance that He hears their prayers, for good and wholesome friendships at school, for favor with teachers and classmates, and for help with tests, homework and understanding.
Concerning relationships, we pray as you have prayed that the Lord would intervene with saving grace. We do not ask Him to bless what does not honor Him, but to save, to bring deliverance and to lead hearts toward His good design. We ask Him to stop what is harmful and dysfunctional, to expose and remove strongholds and lies, to prevent further entanglement that would lead away from Him, and to guide each person toward purity, holiness and, where He wills marriage, toward a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as He ordained. We ask Him to heal relationships in your family supernaturally and to guard each one from the enemy's schemes.
We lift up your work, meetings, tasks, workload and organization, the teams and leaders and those at headquarters, and the many responsibilities for care and shepherding that weigh on you. We ask for wisdom, direction and anointing for preaching, teaching, prayer gatherings, outreaches, children's ministry and every act of service, that the Word would be heard with care and kept with continual recollection, and that it would bear fruit. We pray for forgiveness where you have spoken in frustration or vented behind another's back, and we thank God that His mercies are new every morning as you turn to Him in repentance and ask to be filled with His Holy Spirit and to love and obey Him first.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in hearing the Word, in patient endurance and in prayer, knowing that affliction and comfort alike work for our salvation when we share in Christ's sufferings and comfort. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and He who died for the salvation of the world is able to deliver. May the Lord grant you encounters with Him, strengthen your faith, revive what is weary and burned out, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing. We continue to pray with you for breakthrough, encouragement and His mighty hand over every detail you have entrusted to Him, in the name of Jesus.
