Beloved of All
Your prayer has been received and we join with you in lifting your family before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is the perfect spotless Lamb who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin.
We thank God with you for the signs of encouragement He has already given, and we praise Him that His mercies are new every morning. We agree with you in pleading the blood of Christ over your household, asking for His protection around you, your thoughts and emotions, and for His holy presence to guard you. We ask Him to surround you with His care and to keep you in His peace.
We join you in praying for the salvation of your entire family, including relatives who do not yet know the Lord. Scripture reminds us that Christ came not to judge the world but to save it, and that His death is the salvation of the world. There is salvation in no other name. We pray that God will open the hearts of every unsaved loved one to hear the gospel, to receive it with faith, and to turn to Christ while it is still the acceptable time, for now is the day of salvation.
We also pray for deliverance and healing as you have asked. We ask the Lord to deliver from every bondage, addiction, compulsion and anything that is not of Him, and to heal bodies, minds and hearts, including spasms, wounds, trauma, rejection and abandonment, and the burnout and weariness you have described. We ask Him to bring healing to relationships where there has been hurt, to replace lies and strongholds with His truth, and to restore what has been broken according to His will. We pray for the children you mentioned, that the Lord would strengthen faith, give confidence in Him, grant favor with teachers and classmates, provide true and wholesome friendships, and help with schoolwork, tests and understanding. We pray that they would know they are loved by God and hear His voice.
Concerning the relationships you mentioned that are not in keeping with God's design, we do not ask God to bless what is outside His will. We agree with you that God would bring conviction, expose what is wrong, block what is not good, and put a stop to what would lead further from Him. We pray for salvation for those involved, for repentance, for purity, and for deliverance. We hold fast to what Scripture teaches, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. We pray that the Lord would lead each person involved into holiness, self control and obedience out of love for Christ, and prevent further relationships that would be harmful or dishonoring to Him.
We lift up your requests for work, meetings, tasks, workload, organization, leadership, shepherding, and the many ministries you carry, including prayer gatherings, outreaches, children's ministry and camps, and the preparation of sermons and teaching. We ask God to anoint these efforts, to pierce hearts with His word, to draw many to Himself including parents and those you have met, and to rouse His church to prayer. We pray for wisdom, direction and guidance for you, and for grace to love the Lord first and to obey Him.
You have been honest about failing often and about anger and frustration, including venting about others. We thank God that He calls us not only to hear His word but to live it, with continual remembrance, with fortitude, and with turning away from worldly things. Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but a life that responds in faith and obedience. We join you in asking for repentance for anything that grieves Him, for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and for mercy. We pray that the Lord will help you address difficult situations in a way that is appropriate and honoring to Him, and that He will turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing.
We stand with you on the promises you cited, that God will be with those who call upon Him in trouble, that He is our refuge and shelter, and that no weapon formed against His people will finally prevail. We also remember the word that God will avenge His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and that affliction itself, when patiently endured in Christ, works comfort and salvation and makes us partakers of His sufferings and His comfort.
May the Lord grant you encounters with Him, increase your hope, and keep you steadfast. We will continue to cry out with you for His powerful intervention, for His quick help in the difficult situations you face, for His peace over your home, and for breakthrough and encouragement in every area you have lifted up, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love in Christ.
