We join you together in lifting up your family before the Lord Jesus and we glorify Him with you for all He has already done and for all He will do. We thank God with you for the signs of encouragement He sends and for your faith in Jesus as the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin. We affirm with you that it is only through His precious blood that we have redemption and access to the Father, for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness and we are cleansed and made righteous in Him alone. 1 John 1:7 says if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

We stand with you in asking for salvation, healing, deliverance and protection over your entire family including relatives. It is the heart of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, and we pray that He will open the hearts of every unsaved family member to the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us the Lord is not slow concerning his promise but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We pray for deliverance from all bondage, addictions, compulsions and anything that is not of the Lord, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. John 8:36. We pray for healing in every part of body, mind and spirit, for He is the Lord who heals us and who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We lift up the many needs you mentioned concerning health, including spasms, burnout, trauma, rejection and abandonment, and wounds in relationships, and we ask the Lord to bring His supernatural healing and to replace the lies and thoughts of the enemy with His truth. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.

We agree with you in asking for God's mighty protection, for His warrior angels to surround you and for His presence to be a wall of fire around you including your thoughts and emotions. We know from Scripture that He will give his angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and that they are ministering spirits sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Hebrews 1:14. The Lord Himself says I will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her, Zechariah 2:5. We stand on Isaiah 54:14-17 with you that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and that your righteousness is of Him. We pray that He will block that which is not good and rise up and confront the evil behavior and the influences fueling it, and rebuke the lies and strongholds that have tried to take root. We ask Him to fight your battles, for the battle is not yours but God's, 2 Chronicles 20:15, and He will fight for you and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14.

We bring before the Lord the specific burdens you carry for the children and young people in your family. We pray for good godly friends at school, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests, homework and understanding the material, and for confidence that is rooted in Christ. We pray that the Lord will strengthen faith and let her know that He hears her prayers and that He will give peace that surpasses all understanding to guard hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We pray for healing of relationships supernaturally and for wounds to be healed, and that every place of rejection and trauma would be healed by His love.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned where you asked the Lord to put a stop to them and to block dysfunctional and disastrous relationships, we join you in praying for salvation for those involved and for God's will to be done. We want to gently encourage you in this area from Scripture, because we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God designed from the beginning, Genesis 2:24 and Matthew 19:6. Any courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. If these relationships involve sex outside of marriage, Scripture calls that fornication, and if outside the marriage covenant it is adultery, and God calls us to flee from sexual immorality and to keep the marriage bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4 and 1 Corinthians 6:18. The same is true for same sex relationships which Scripture calls homosexuality and which are outside God's design for marriage. We pray that the Lord will block every relationship that is not of Him, bring deep conviction and repentance where needed, and in His time bring godly spouses for those who are called to marry, relationships that honor Christ and pursue purity. We pray He will save them and draw them to Himself first, for only then can a marriage honor Him.

We also lift up the areas where you have been honest about your own struggles, including anger, frustration, feeling out of it and unmotivated at work, feeling overlooked or bypassed in leadership, and venting behind another's back. We thank God for your repentant heart and we encourage you that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness, Lamentations 3:22-23. We pray the Lord will help you to be angry and not sin, Ephesians 4:26, to let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up, Ephesians 4:29, and to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger, James 1:19. We pray for forgiveness where needed and for healing in relationships with those you mentioned, including leaders and team members, and that God would turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing, Romans 8:28. We ask for wisdom and guidance for planning, strategy, leading and shepherding, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.

We join you in praying for your work, meetings, tasks, workload and organization, and for the teams and those at headquarters, that the Lord would take over in every way and be first and foremost in everything. We pray for anointing on the prayer meetings, the Intro course, the sermons and workshops on prayer, the outreaches to the homeless and in the subways and at Easter, the children's church and kids camp, that God would powerfully anoint them, pierce hearts, let His Word sink deep and bear much fruit, and draw many including parents unto Himself. We pray He will rouse His church to pray more corporately and protect every gathering.

We now pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We glorify You and thank You for Your mercy and grace. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and over every person mentioned, trusting not in a formula but in the finished work of the cross. Surround them with Your angels and be a wall of fire around them and around their thoughts and emotions. Save every unsaved loved one, open their hearts to the gospel, deliver from every bondage, addiction and compulsion, and heal every sickness, spasm, wound, trauma and burnout. Give peace where there is turmoil, act quickly where the situation is so difficult to handle, and confront and rebuke every evil influence and lie. Provide godly friendships, favor at school, help with tests and work, and wisdom for every decision. Block every relationship that is not of You and lead each one into purity and, if it is Your will, into godly marriage that honors You. Forgive us where we have sinned in anger or speech, fill us anew with Your Holy Spirit, Ephesians 5:18, and teach us to love You first and obey You. Anoint the prayer gatherings, outreaches, sermons and children's ministry, and let Your Word run swiftly and be glorified. We stand on Your promise that You will call to remembrance that those who call upon You in the day of trouble You will deliver, Psalm 50:15, and that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in Your shadow, Psalm 91:1. We trust that You will avenge Your elect who cry out to You day and night and will answer quickly, Luke 18:7-8. Do miracles, Lord, for You are the God who does wonders, Psalm 77:14. Direct and guide this family, give them encounters with You, and let Your peace reign. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord and to trust His timing, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength, Isaiah 40:31. Keep seeking Him, keep repenting of anything that grieves Him, keep being filled with the Holy Spirit and keep loving Him first. He hears your cries, He sees every detail you have lifted up, and He is faithful. Psalm 27:14 says wait for Yahweh, be strong, let your heart take courage, yes, wait for Yahweh.

Thank you for bringing your whole family before the Lord with such honesty and persistence. We hear how deeply you love them and how many burdens you have been carrying at once, from salvation and healing to school, work, health and relationships. It is a beautiful thing that you want Jesus to be first in all of it and that you notice the encouragements He already sends.

Carrying a list this long can feel overwhelming, and we want to encourage you not to carry it alone. One thing that may help is to choose two or three of the most pressing concerns to lift daily, and share the full list with a trusted pastor or small prayer group who can stand with you consistently. It can also be steadying to note the answers and small mercies as they come, so on weary days you can remember His faithfulness.

For the physical needs you mentioned, like the spasm and other health concerns, please continue to involve your medical providers alongside prayer so you have care for both body and spirit.

We are praying with you now.

Father, we bring this family to You in the name of Jesus. Cover them with Your mercy and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, lead them to repent where needed and to walk close to You. Save those who do not yet know You, heal what is wounded, deliver from what binds, and guard their thoughts and emotions with Your peace. Give wisdom for school, work and decisions, bring good friendships and help where there is strain, and let each one know You hear and love them. We trust them to Your good will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your earnest and many burdened cries have been laid before the Lord, and it is well that you have laid them there, for He has said, Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. The Psalm you stand upon is a true word, and Psalm 91 is a sure shelter, and Isaiah 54 is a faithful promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper when you are hid in Christ.

There is one great need that underlies all the rest, and that is salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Salvation is God's greatest work, and in it He teaches us that He is God and beside Him there is none else. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, to leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, to depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. This faith is believing on a Person, on Him who was laid in Zion for a foundation, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. It is by His blood alone, by the ransom which God Himself has found and given, that the prisoner ready to go down to the pit receives undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. There is no other way, and there is no need of another. Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and all your house. For your unsaved kindred and loved ones, this remains my prayer, that the Lord would open their hearts to the gospel, that they may look unto Jesus and live, for without faith there is no salvation.

You plead the precious blood and ask for the wall of fire and the guard of His angels, and you do well to seek the Lord's protection, for He is a wall of fire round about His people and He gives His angels charge over them. Yet remember that our deliverance is attended with His own hand. He brought them forth, and He still brings forth His people when the Lamb is slain. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. The tried and tempted soul will see clearly that salvation and deliverance are all of grace. He can do nothing and he knows it, and therefore he cries for mercy, and mercy comes, new every morning.

You ask for healing for so many, for spasms and wounds and infirmities of body and mind, for trauma and rejection and heaviness of spirit. Hear this, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. The very leaves are healing, and these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, pardon and healing are one, for He says, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. So look to Him for the healing of soul and body, according to His wise and tender will, believing that abundant streams of healing flow down from Him to men below.

For your children and loved ones, for the one who needs friends at school and help with tests and strength of faith to know that her prayers are heard, for the one suffering spasms and wounds and burnout, for the ones weighed down with school and homework and appointments, I pray the Lord will show His tender indulgence towards the least and feeblest of His family. May He give confidence not in self but in Him, guard and shield them, bring healing to every part of their being, and let them know they are loved in Christ. And where you have asked the Lord to put a stop to relationships that are not according to His holy will and to block that which would lead into further dysfunction and sin, I join you in praying for holy deliverance. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within that covenant alone. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we ask Him to save, to convict, to cleanse, and to lead into chastity and obedience, that He may turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing. May He rebuke all lies and strongholds, remove compulsions and addictions and bondage, and replace the thoughts of the enemy with His own truth.

For your work and ministry, for meetings and tasks and workload and organization, for sermons and prayer gatherings and outreaches to the homeless and in subways and among children, for camps and children's church and the leading of worship, I pray the Lord will anoint and take over completely. We have been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly foe, and saved by a greater salvation, so let our gratitude be deeper and our song more jubilant. May He rouse the church to pray more corporately, pierce hearts by the preached Word, let it sink deep and bear fruit, and draw many unto Himself, even parents and those you have met in recent witness. Where you feel overlooked and burdened, where you have fallen into venting and frustration and need to make correction, where you feel out of it and unmotivated, the Lord is gracious to forgive and to restore. Confess what grieves Him, seek to be filled with His Holy Spirit, and ask for wisdom to love Him first and foremost and to obey Him. He will direct and guide you.

You say, I fail so often, we fail so often. Have mercy. That is the fittest prayer a sinner can pray, and it is never denied when offered through Christ. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord and then salvation will come to it. Continue to cry mightily as the widow in Luke 18, for shall not God avenge His own elect who cry day and night unto Him. He will act quickly in His own perfect time. Deborah sang concerning the overthrow of Israel's enemies and the deliverance vouchsafed to the tribes, and we have a far richer theme for music. Go on pleading, go on believing, go on looking unto Jesus, and you shall find deliverance and peace.

May the Lord glorify Himself in your family, save, heal, deliver and protect according to His abundant mercy, establish you in peace, and give you encounters with Christ that make your heart to sing. May He fight your battles, for the battle is the Lord's, and keep you under the shadow of His wings. Amen.
