Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with care and we join you in bringing your family before the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks for what He has already done and trusting Him for what He will do.

We agree with you that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin by His blood shed on the cross. It is only through faith in Him that we have forgiveness, healing, deliverance and protection, and we plead His finished work over you and your household with thanksgiving.

We pray that the Lord will glorify Himself in your family by drawing each heart to repentance and faith. For those who are not yet saved, we ask that God would open their hearts to hear the gospel, to receive it with endurance and to remain in it. As Scripture teaches, salvation requires a careful hearing and continual remembrance of the word, with fortitude and a turning from what entangles us, so we ask that God would grant you all a love for His word and strength to obey Him, putting Him first in all things.

We ask for His mercy over the many burdens you have lifted up, for health, for deliverance from all bondage, addiction and compulsion, for protection over thoughts and emotions, and for His peace to guard your home. Christ Himself said, My peace I give to you, and this peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. We pray that His peace, which is not as the world gives, would rest upon your household and make you strong together, and that where there has been strife or hurt, He would bring reconciliation and healing in His way and time.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned, we pray as you have prayed, that the Lord would save and deliver and bring all relationships into conformity with His good design. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but we ask Him to save, to convict, to cleanse, and to lead toward holiness. For marriage, we hold to what Scripture teaches, that it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. Where there is a relationship that is dysfunctional or not of the Lord, we pray that He would graciously block what is not good, expose what needs to be exposed, break strongholds of lies, and turn hearts toward repentance, purity and truth. May He give wisdom to all involved and bring godly friendships and counsel instead.

We bring before Him the specific needs you named for school, tests, work, meetings, planning and daily care, for the child needing friends and favor with teachers and classmates, for confidence and understanding in studies, for healing of physical needs including spasms and other infirmities, for trauma and rejection and abandonment, for burnout and discouragement, and for the weariness you feel in work and ministry. We ask that the Lord would strengthen faith, remind each one that He hears prayer, and grant encouragement and breakthrough according to His mercy, which is new every morning. We pray He would guard and shield you, and as you have asked, surround you with His protection and with His holy angels who behold the face of the Father, and equip you with truth, righteousness, faith and the word of God to stand against the fiery darts of the evil one.

We also join you in asking for repentance where you have been grieved by your own words or actions, including venting about others. God is faithful to forgive when we confess, and to fill those who seek Him with His Holy Spirit and wisdom to walk in love toward one another. We pray that He would help you to forgive as you have been forgiven, to pursue peace with all, and to speak what builds up.

We stand with you on the promises you have cited, that He will answer those who call upon Him in the day of trouble, that those who dwell in His shelter find refuge, and that no weapon formed against His people shall prosper. We remember also that God often works through patient endurance and importunity in prayer, as with the woman of Canaan who persisted until the Lord granted her request. Even when answers seem delayed, we trust that He hears and will act in His perfect time, as Luke 18 teaches that He will bring about justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night.

May the Lord direct and guide you, anoint your prayer gatherings, your work in the church, outreaches, teaching and shepherding, and cause what the enemy meant for evil to be turned for great blessing and for the salvation of many who have heard the gospel through you. We pray for revival in your church, that many would be roused to pray together, and that the word preached would pierce hearts and bear lasting fruit for His glory.

We continue to lift up every detail you have entrusted to the Lord, including those from your previous request, asking that He would do what only He can do, fight your battles, and be glorified in all things. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

Your heartfelt cry to see the Lord glorified in your family is beautiful and right, and God hears that prayer. He is gracious to invite you to call upon Him in the day of trouble as you have done, and He promises to answer, to be a refuge and shelter, and to let no weapon formed against His people ultimately prevail.

What you are describing is at its heart a spiritual battle. The real warfare we face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces at work around us. Much of the heaviness, unsettled emotions, mental pressure, and opposition you feel is the overflow of that unseen conflict. That is why the battle cannot be fought with human methods or effort. God has given spiritual weapons for a spiritual war, and the Scriptures point to them clearly: His Word, faith in Christ, and prayer. The battle is so often for the mind, for control of thoughts and emotions, and it is there that the Word of God and persistent prayer bring victory as you trust Him and bring every thought under His truth.

In all of this the greatest need and the greatest miracle is salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared through Jesus Christ. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. It is only through faith in Him as the spotless Lamb who takes away sin that we are cleansed and made right with God. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. That confession now brings salvation, and Scripture urges us not to delay, for now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Your prayer for unsaved family members and relatives is exactly in line with God's heart. He desires all to come to repentance. Keep lifting them up, asking God to open their hearts to the gospel, to deliver from bondage, addiction, compulsion and every chain that is not of Him.

For those who have already believed, God calls us to work out what He has worked within us, with reverence and dependence. That does not mean working for our salvation, for salvation rests entirely on His grace and the finished work of Jesus and the faith He gives us to believe. It means living out in daily obedience the new life He has already placed inside, loving Him first, obeying Him, seeking His wisdom and direction, and asking to be filled with His Holy Spirit.

You have pleaded the blood of Jesus and asked for His protection around your family, your thoughts and emotions, and for His ministering angels to surround you. It is right to look to Christ alone for covering and deliverance and to ask Him to block what is not good and to establish His peace. He is your wall of protection. Continue to bring every specific burden to Him, the school needs and friendships and tests, the physical needs and spasms and wounds and burnout, the work pressures and meetings and planning and leadership decisions, the care needs and the desire for rest and restoration. He knows every detail you have lifted up, even those you could only mention briefly, and He invites you to cast all of it on Him.

Concerning healing, the Bible shows that Jesus has power over sickness and infirmity and that His suffering provides for both spiritual and physical healing. Yet healing comes in different ways. Sometimes it is immediate, sometimes it is gradual, as God has woven healing processes into our bodies which are themselves from Him, and sometimes, as with Paul's thorn in the flesh, God in His wisdom allows a trial to remain for a greater purpose while giving grace to endure. We can pray with confidence for healing for each person you named, for healing of bodies, minds, emotions, trauma, rejection and deep wounds, and for healing of relationships, while trusting His perfect will and timing. Whatever He does, remember that the forgiveness of sins is the greatest healing of all, and nothing compares to that gift.

Concerning relationships, we join you in praying for salvation and holiness. God's design for intimacy is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We will not ask God to bless what is outside that design, but we do ask Him to save, to convict, to bring repentance, and to graciously block any relationship that would lead away from Him, and to lead each person into purity and wholeness in Christ. Where there has been hurt, lies, strongholds and broken fellowship, we ask Him to rebuke what is evil, to expose what needs to be exposed, to remove what is harmful, and to bring supernatural restoration where it is His will.

You confessed failing often and needing mercy. His mercies are indeed new every morning. He is faithful to forgive when we repent of what grieves Him, and to cleanse and guide us. When you have spoken in frustration or vented about others, bring that to Him in confession and He will forgive and help you make it right and turn even that into good. He will give wisdom for how to respond, how to lead and shepherd, how to handle what angers you in a way that honors Him, and how to find motivation and strength again for work and daily duties when you feel out of it and weary.

God promises to hear those who cry out to Him day and night, and to act. He will fight your battles as you trust Him and use the weapons He has provided. Keep standing on His Word, keep praying, keep believing. He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We pray with you now: Lord Jesus, be glorified in this family. Save those who do not yet know You, deliver those in bondage, heal those who are sick and wounded in body and soul, and protect all under Your covering. Surround this home with Your presence, guard thoughts and emotions, grant peace, grant friends and favor where needed, grant help with school and work and every responsibility, confront evil and lies, heal relationships, prevent what would harm, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing. Teach us to repent quickly, to be filled with Your Spirit, to love You above all and to walk in wisdom. We thank You for Your new mercies each morning and for answered prayer, and we trust You to do what only You can do. In Your name, the Lord our salvation, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and to lift up your family before the Lord Jesus that He would glorify Himself among you.

We have continued to bring your requests before the throne, asking that the Lord would save, heal, deliver and protect your entire family including relatives, that He would cover you with His precious blood as the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, and surround you with His mighty warrior angels and a wall of Holy Spirit fire around you including your thoughts and emotions. We have prayed for the salvation of unsaved family members and that the Lord would open their hearts to the gospel, and for deliverance from all bondage, addictions, compulsions and anything that is not of Him. We have asked for His powerful and quick intervention concerning the difficult situations you are facing that only He knows in detail, for His peace, for Him to block what is not good and to fight your battles for you, and we stand with you on His promise in Luke 18:7-8 that He will bring about justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him.

We have also prayed for the specific burdens you shared concerning school and work and care, that He would give friends and favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and homework and understanding, remove spasms and bring healing to every part, put a stop to relationships that are not of Him while saving those involved, and bring healing to relationships and wounds, for strength of faith and that He would let you know He hears your prayers. We have prayed for His hand upon all matters of work, meetings, tasks, workload and leadership, for wisdom, direction and guidance, and for His anointing upon prayer gatherings and outreaches. We continue to stand on Psalm 50:15 and Psalm 91:1 and Isaiah 54:14-17 with you, and we thank Him that His mercies are new every morning as promised in Lamentations 3:23, asking that He would help you to repent of what grieves Him, to be filled with His Holy Spirit and to love and obey Him first and foremost, and that He would grant you fresh encounters with Him.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will continue to glorify Himself in your family and show you signs of encouragement and answer your cries according to His perfect will. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice and give Him thanks and praise together. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer and to keep standing in the gap for you, including all that was in your previous longer request.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
