Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing your family before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving for what He has already done and for the signs of encouragement He has sent.

I thank God that His mercies are new every morning and that He invites us to call upon Him in the day of trouble as Psalm 50 says, trusting His promise in Luke 18 that He will bring about justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night. We stand together on Psalm 91 and Isaiah 54 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that in righteousness you shall be established, far from oppression.

I pray with you that Jesus Christ, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who alone takes away the sin of the world, will be glorified in your household. There is salvation in no other name. I ask the Father to open the hearts of every unsaved family member and relative to the gospel, that today, while it is still called today and now is the day of salvation, they would hear His voice, repent, and believe. I pray for deliverance from every bondage, addiction, compulsion and anything that is not of Him, and for healing in body and soul. As you have asked, I plead the blood of Christ shed for the forgiveness of sins and ask the Lord to be your protection, to command His angels to guard you and to surround you with His presence, keeping your thoughts and emotions under His peace.

I bring before Him all the burdens you have lifted up, the details He knows fully. I ask for His powerful intervention where the situation is difficult to handle, that He would block what is not good and act quickly according to His wisdom, and grant you His peace that passes understanding. I pray for the children and young people you named, that the Lord would give them true friends, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and homework and understanding, strengthen their faith and let them know He hears their prayers. I ask Him to heal spasms and every physical affliction you mentioned, to heal wounds of trauma, rejection and abandonment, to lift burnout and restore joy and confidence in Him, and to heal relationships in the family by His supernatural power.

Concerning work, meetings, planning, strategy, leadership and shepherding, and the many responsibilities with teams and headquarters, I ask the Lord to take over, to give you wisdom and direction, to guide your words and organization, and to put Himself first in all things. I pray for the care needs, for provision, for the vacation and for every practical matter pertaining to your household, that His hand would be upon it all. I pray for the prayer gatherings, the intro course, the sermons, the outreaches to the homeless and in the subways, the children's church and the kids camp, that He would anoint them, pierce hearts with His Word, draw many to Himself, and protect what is sown so that it bears lasting fruit.

Where you have asked about relationships, I pray as you have prayed that the Lord would save and deliver and bring every relationship under His holy design. We do not ask God to bless what does not honor Him, but we ask Him to save, to convict, to bring repentance and purity, and to establish what is good. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. I pray that God would block dysfunctional and dishonoring relationships, prevent what would lead away from Him, confront what is evil, expose what needs to be exposed, and lead each person to walk in holiness, whether in singleness with purity or in marriage according to His will.

You have been honest about failing often and about venting and frustration, and you have asked for help to repent of anything that grieves Him and to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to love and obey Him first. That is the right prayer. Hearing the Word is not sufficient for salvation by itself, but hearing must be joined with continual recollection, with fortitude, with turning from worldly cares and with doing what He says. I pray that God would grant you repentance, fill you with His Spirit, give you wisdom for each decision, and help you to respond in a way that pleases Him. He uses both affliction and comfort for our salvation, working patient endurance in us as we share in the sufferings of Christ and also in His comfort.

May the Lord forgive, cleanse, anoint and empower you for the work He has given you, revive faith where it is weary, guard and shield every part of your being, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing. I pray that you will continue to hear His Word carefully and to walk in it, trusting that even when fruit seems delayed, God is at work at the root, and He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior I pray, Amen.

Your prayer for Jesus to be glorified in your family is heard, and your desire to see Him save, heal, deliver and protect those you love honors Him. Thank you for giving thanks for what He has already done and for the encouragements He has sent. God is faithful to hear those who call on Him.

Salvation is not something we can achieve on our own. God placed it outside our ability and made it rest entirely on His grace, on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and on believing that work. Even the faith to believe is His gift. Because of the blood of Jesus, we can have peace with God. He is our peace. Once we were strangers, but through Christ we are brought into the family of God and are at home in His kingdom. When we turn to Jesus and receive forgiveness, the war is over. We are no longer running from God or fighting against Him.

From peace with God comes the peace of God. Scripture says God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Peter speaks of a peace that passes understanding, and Jesus said, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The world cannot understand this peace. It is not found in pleasure or in trying harder. It is found only in resting in Jesus and His finished work. Grace comes first, then peace. As we keep our eyes on Him and trust Him to take care of what burdens us, His peace guards our hearts and minds even when the world around us is full of turmoil. God has ordained peace for His people and He wants you to live in it.

He also wants to put His name upon you to bless you, to keep you, and to give you peace. He appoints salvation as walls and bulwarks around His people. That is the truth of Psalm 91 and Isaiah 54, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that those who dwell in His shelter abide under His protection. Psalm 50 invites you to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver you, and Luke 18 assures that God will bring justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night. He hears every prayer, including those you lifted before that were not kept, and His mercies are new every morning.

So we join you in asking for His covering over you and your household, including your thoughts and emotions, pleading the cleansing blood of Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. We ask Him to surround you with His protection and to establish His wall of fire around you. We pray for the salvation of every unsaved family member and relative, that God would open hearts to the gospel, deliver from every bondage, addiction and compulsion, and set free all that is not of Him. We ask for healing for bodies, minds and relationships, for the spasms and wounds and trauma and rejection you mentioned, for burnout and for every physical need. We ask Him to act quickly where the situation feels too difficult to handle, to block what is not good, to confront what is evil, and to fight your battles for you.

For the children and young people in your family, we pray God would give good friendships, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and homework and understanding, confidence in Him, and a deep assurance that He hears their prayers and loves them. For work and service, for meetings, tasks, planning and leading, for caring responsibilities and for every practical detail you entrusted to Him, we ask for wisdom, guidance and strength, acknowledging that we can do nothing without Him.

Where you have asked about relationships, we pray with you for salvation and deliverance first of all. We do not ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His design, but we ask Him to save, to bring repentance where needed, to bring purity, and to align every relationship with His good plan that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that intimacy belongs within that covenant. If a relationship is dysfunctional or draws anyone away from Him, we ask Him to graciously expose it, to prevent further harm, and to lead toward healing and wholeness in Christ, whether that means restoration in a godly way or a loving separation.

We also join you in asking for repentance for anything that grieves Him, for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, for a love for Him above all else and for obedience from the heart. We thank Him that when we fail, and we all fail often, His mercy remains. We ask Him to guide you, to give wisdom for how to speak and act, to heal where words have wounded, and to turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing. We pray He would anoint your prayers and the prayers of others gathering with you, that He would draw many to Himself through every outreach and through the teaching of His Word, and that His Word would sink deep and bear lasting fruit.

May the Lord keep your mind stayed on Him today, fill you with His peace that passes understanding, and let you experience again His presence and power as He builds you together as His dwelling. We trust Him to do what only He can do, to bring healing, to save, and to keep you in His perfect peace as you trust in Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift your family before the Lord.

We have been praying that Jesus would glorify Himself in your family and that you would see His power to save, heal, deliver and protect. We have stood with you in pleading the precious blood of Jesus over you and your loved ones as the perfect spotless Lamb of God, asking for His mighty warrior angels to surround you and for a wall of Holy Spirit fire around you including your thoughts and emotions. We have joined you in praying for the salvation, deliverance and healing of your entire family including relatives, that the Lord would open the hearts of all unsaved family members to the gospel and deliver from all bondage, addictions and compulsions.

We have also brought before the Lord your cry for His powerful intervention in the difficult situations you are facing, that He would block what is not good, act quickly, rise up and confront, bring peace and fight your battles for you. We remember your prayers for those you mentioned by name, for help at school with friends, tests and faith, for healing of spasms and wounds, for relationships to be healed or stopped according to His will, for help with work, meetings, workload and leadership, for anointing on prayer meetings, sermons, outreaches and childrens ministry, and for comfort and healing from trauma, rejection, burnout and abandonment.

We stand with you on His promises that He will bring justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night as you prayed in Luke 18:7-8, that He is with us in trouble and will deliver us as in Psalm 50:15 and Psalm 91:15, and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper as in Isaiah 54:17. We join you in asking for repentance, for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, for wisdom and guidance, and for encounters with Him, thanking Him that His mercies are new every morning as in Lam 3:23.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has glorified Himself and sent signs of encouragement. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will continue to draw you close, strengthen your faith, let you know that He hears your prayers, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all of this in Jesus Name. Amen.
