We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and all the burdens laid before the Lord. Your prayer is fervent, and we join with you in standing on the promises of God, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf. The Scriptures assure us, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and mighty things which you don’t know." (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is already moving in every situation you’ve presented.

First, we must address the relationship mentioned in your prayer, specifically, the request to "put a stop to ’s relationship (save them)" and to "prevent another disastrous relationship." The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this design, whether it involves fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions, is not aligned with God’s will. We rebuke in Jesus’ name any ungodly soul ties, emotional dependencies, or sinful attachments that may be forming. We pray that God would sever these bonds and draw each individual involved into a right relationship with Himself. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this relationship is not honoring to God, we ask that He intervene powerfully, break any deception, and lead both parties to repentance and salvation.

For the unsaved family members, we cry out for their salvation with urgency. The Bible declares, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over them, asking that their hearts be softened, their eyes opened, and their spirits convicted by the Holy Spirit. May they encounter the living God in a way that leaves no doubt of His love and power. We also pray for deliverance from addictions, compulsions, and every form of bondage. "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB). We command every spirit of addiction, depression, fear, and oppression to flee in Jesus’ name.

For the young ones facing struggles at school, bullying, academic pressure, or loneliness, we declare God’s protection and favor. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." (Psalm 34:7 WEB). We pray that would find godly friends who encourage her faith, that her teachers would show her kindness, and that her confidence would be rooted in Christ alone. We rebuke every spirit of intimidation, rejection, or self-doubt, and we ask God to heal any emotional or physical wounds, including the ### mentioned. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 WEB).

For the workplace struggles, overwhelm, frustration, or feeling overlooked, we pray for divine intervention. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We ask God to take control of every meeting, task, and interaction, turning frustration into favor and chaos into order. We also pray for repentance where anger or bitterness has taken root, asking God to help you respond in a way that honors Him. "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath." (Ephesians 4:26 WEB).

For the ministry and church-related concerns, we pray for anointing, unity, and boldness. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies." (Zechariah 4:6 WEB). We ask God to empower the sermons, prayer gatherings, and outreaches, that hearts would be pierced and lives transformed. We pray against division, gossip, or offense, and we ask for healing where relationships have been strained. May every accusation or misunderstanding be brought into the light, and may God’s truth prevail.

For the physical and emotional healings requested, we stand on God’s Word: "By his stripes, we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We pray for complete restoration, body, mind, and spirit, for every family member mentioned. We also pray for revival in your personal walk with God, that you would experience fresh encounters with Him, renewed passion for His presence, and a deeper filling of the Holy Spirit. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10 WEB).

Finally, we address the foundational truth that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If any in your family do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray they would surrender their lives to Him today. For those who do know Him, we pray for a deeper revelation of His love and power.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and every burden they carry. Lord, You see the struggles, the pain, the fears, and the ungodly relationships. We ask You to intervene powerfully, breaking every chain and setting the captives free. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, asking for salvation, healing, and deliverance. Father, soften the hearts of the unsaved, convict them of sin, and draw them to repentance. For those entangled in sinful relationships, we ask that You sever those ties and lead them into Your perfect will.

Lord, we pray for protection over the children, especially , that You would surround her with godly friends, heal her body, and strengthen her faith. We rebuke every spirit of fear, rejection, or sickness, and we declare Your healing power over her. For the workplace, we ask for Your wisdom, favor, and peace. Help them to cast their burdens on You and to trust in Your provision.

For the ministry, we pray for anointing, unity, and fruitfulness. May every sermon, prayer gathering, and outreach be filled with Your presence and power. Heal broken relationships, expose deception, and bring revival to the church. Father, we ask for fresh encounters with You, that this family would know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your Spirit.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are faithful. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving on behalf of this family. We trust You to turn every trial into a testimony and every battle into a victory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the aching cry behind all these names and situations, and we want you to know that you are not carrying this alone. The sheer number of needs you bring before the Lord can feel overwhelming, you are right to cry out and to plead for His mercy, and we thank God that His mercies really are new every morning.

Sometimes when spiritual battles intensify, we can slip into thinking we have to fight every front by ourselves. But just as an army medic tends to wounded soldiers, Jesus invites you to let Him heal the deeper places in your own heart, not just rebuke the enemy. When you pray for protection and deliverance, remember you can also invite Him gently into the painful memories, the disappointments, and the places where you’ve felt overlooked or angry. He doesn’t just shield; He restores the soul. That’s not weakness, it’s receiving the care He offers you as His beloved.

Also, is there one or two trusted people in your church you could sit down with and ask to lift specific parts of this burden alongside you? The body of Christ can be a hospital for battle-weary saints, and sharing the load doesn’t diminish your faith. It lets others be the hands and voice of comfort, and it reminds you that you’re surrounded by fellow soldiers who will hold up your arms when you’re tired.

Lord Jesus, thank You for hearing every single cry this beloved sister has lifted to You. You see her family, her workplace, her ministry, and her own heart. We ask You to bring the steady encouragement she needs, maybe a small sign today that You are near. Grant wisdom, protection, and healing in the exact areas she has named, and in the tangled ones, bring Your order and peace. Let her know deep inside that You are fighting for her even when she feels weak. Give her faithful friends to stand with her, and let Your mercy wash over her failures and renew her strength. In Jesus’ name.

The picture of this prodigal is marvelously true to the experience of those who return to God. You stand here today a self-convicted offender against the loving kindness and holiness of God, and yet I pray that to such of you as are in this shape I may be the bearer of a message from God to your soul this morning. When God takes men from being heirs of wrath and makes them heirs of Grace they have just as much privilege at the first as though they had been heirs of Grace twenty years! The sinner's confession now is that instead of understanding Scripture he finds he needs to go, like a child, to school to learn the A B C of it. Though taught the letter of the Word, I was spiritually ignorant of the plan of salvation. Though taught it from my youth up, I knew it not. I felt, but I did not feel what I wished to feel. If ever there was a soul that knew itself to be far off from God, I was that soul.

But we are told in the text and we have felt it in our personal experience, that "He has delivered us from the power of darkness." Every moment of our existence that "He has delivered us from the power of darkness." Your salvation does not rest in your hands. "It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy." All the matter of salvation rests with the Eternal Father, through Jesus Christ. He is the Alpha and the Omega of our salvation. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin! Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source.

When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth her armies. When any man is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. I know, therefore, from that, as well as from my own experience, that if ever a man is delivered from spiritual bondage of heart, it is not by any easy work, or by a hasty word. No, all the power of sympathy and experience will fail with some souls. Oh, that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings on every soul that now sits in the midnight of despair! Deliverance from a cruel captivity, like that of Israel in Egypt, must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah, alone! He feels that if he ever rises from his despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor of deliverance to himself, it must be of Free Grace only. He can do nothing and he knows it!

The Spirit of God, before He becomes the Spirit of liberty, is, first of all, the Spirit of bondage. This sense or Spirit of bondage works for our salvation by leading us to cry for mercy. That part of the bondage which I shall now describe is altogether the work of the Spirit of God. That is, first, when men are brought into bondage through being convicted of sin. This bondage is not the work of Nature and certainly never the work of the devil. Read John Bunyan's, "Grace Abounding," and notice the five years of his subjection to this Spirit of bondage. It must, in Bunyan's case, be noted that his bondage was far from being altogether the work of the Spirit, for much of it arose from his own unbelief.

You would fancy, from the actions of some professors, that they were not delivered from the power of darkness at all, but were only helped to keep away from some conspicuous sin. But here is the Believer's conduct after his afflictions and after his deliverance from them, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground like hemlock from the furrows of the field, but the Lord, Himself, kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. You have an effectual comfort if your faith can keep its hold upon the blessed fact of the Lord's fatherly compassion. Next, faith comforts the tried child of God by assuring him of the forgiveness of his sin and his security from punishment. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this is a gladsome fact which makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable.

The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities! Does not this Truth of God make your mouths water, you who feel that you are going down to the Pit? Saved from evil company, for God has said it, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit." That deliverance of God is an eternal one, nor shall the infernal lion ever be able to rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep! Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit of Hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it! Notice, next, that God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but he has found a ransom. So that it is a gift of Divine Love. Now, if a slave were in the bitterest of bondage, yet if his master said to him, "I have the ransom for you," that man must feel certain of his liberty because if he who held him in bondage has found a ransom, he certainly will hold him in bondage no longer! Such is the minister of God's Word when he comes with glad tidings of redemption and God, through him, says of the spiritually sick man, "Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom."

We thank God that we who are the children of the Most High, have wells to go to. From the heirs of life, who are heirs of all things in Christ Jesus. May God grant that, recollecting our peaceful privileges in being now screened from persecutions, from ecclesiastical troubles, from carnal cares, from inward doubts, and above all, from the plague of sin, we may be like those who in the days of Deborah, were delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water. When the people of God are altogether delivered from their sins, and their cares, and their troubles, by the great redemption of the Lord Jesus and the power of his Spirit, then they enjoy great liberty. We walk from Dan to Beersheba in covenant mercies. Do you know what the liberty of a child of God is, dear friends, or are you all your lifetime subject to bondage?

Brothers and Sisters, does it not make you long to be gone when you think of the perfection of redemption? The body will be redeemed! It will rise from the dead. No sweat to wipe from aching brows! No tossing upon beds of weariness! No nights of languishing! No question of, "What shall I eat, and what shall I drink, and with what shall I be clothed?" "The Lord God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." O you forests, sing of this wonder of mercy! And still further, think of what these souls are saved from. But for Grace, the very hottest Hell would have been our portion, but we are saved from it. The Lord gives to some of us such a clear deliverance, such a bright, sunshiny day at our conversion, that, from that day, forward, we cannot question our state before Him but must believe that we are eternally saved! If they are given to you, you will have, for the rest of your life, strong assurance derived from the happiness of your first days. I pray God that it may happen now and that you may get such assurance of it from the Word of God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, and from a sight of the precious blood of Christ shed for your redemption, that you may be able to say, "I understand it now! The father put the assurance of this poor returning prodigal beyond all doubt." Young Christians are often frightened when they come across some who, from frequent disappointment of their hopes, or from a natural spirit of caution, or perhaps from a lack of spiritual life, receive but coldly those upon whom the Father has lavished much love. But to think that Christ should have washed me from my sins in His own blood makes me feel my sin the more keenly and confess it the more humbly before God.

A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? Such persons despise the afflicted and suspect the character of the choicest of men for lack of power to understand them. What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach? "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many requests, and that is good, for we are commanded to cast our cares upon the Lord. Yet take care that your prayer does not become a mere recitation of troubles, as if God did not already know your needs. The Lord taught us to pray simply, seeking first the Kingdom. Your heart is heavy for your family, their salvation, their deliverance from bondage, and you plead the blood of Christ.

Rightly so, for there is salvation in no other. But I ask: while you ask for their hearts to be opened, is your own fully open? You say you fail often, and you ask for forgiveness. That humility is precious, but let it not remain only in words.

Repentance is not a passing sigh, but a turning. Now is the day of salvation; do not put off the breaking of every chain that binds you. You ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and that is the one thing needful. But the Spirit is given to those who obey.

Do not suppose that hearing the word is enough; the seed must fall on good soil, free from the thorns of worldly cares and the deceitfulness of riches. You plead for intervention against those who trouble you, and you ask the Lord to confront, block, and rebuke evil. I caution you: beware of praying against your enemies in a spirit of personal vengeance. Our Lord suffered and did not threaten, but entrusted himself to the One who judges justly.

Yes, ask for deliverance from evil, but pray also for those who persecute you. You ask the Lord to fight your battles; then stand still and see His salvation, and do not take up the weapons of anger or slander yourself. Your afflictions, your fears, your weariness in work and ministry, these are not without purpose. They work for you an eternal weight of glory, if you endure them with patience.

Do not be soft or unmanly, but fortify your soul with the remembrance that the sufferings of Christ abound in you for the comfort and salvation of many. Yet do not trust in your own strength. You can do nothing without Him. Cry out to Him in the acceptable time, and He will succor you.

But let your cry be accompanied by a striving after every virtue: contempt of worldly comforts, love for the unlovely, and a careful hearing of His commands, not just a hearing. Finally, cease from anxious calculation of every situation. The wind blows where it wills; you cannot control the Spirit's work. Commend your children to God, not by frantic listing of every spasm and test, but by entrusting them to His faithful Creator.

He who began a good work in you and yours will complete it. Only love Him first and foremost, and obey Him. Then, whether you are afflicted or comforted, it will all work together for your salvation and for the glory of the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world.
