Lord Jesus please glorify yourself in our family. Please save, heal, deliver, protect. Thank you for what you have already done and will do. Thank you and PRAISE you for the signs of encouragement you send. I plead your precious blood over us esp. the little one (I ask that this is only taken as faith in you Lord Jesus as the perfect spotless lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and who cleanses us from all sins), ask for your mighty warrior angels to surround us and a wall of Holy Spirit fire around us (incl. our thoughts and emotions). I also ask for salvation, deliverance and healing (entire family incl. relatives). Please open all unsaved family members' hearts to the gospel, please deliver from all bondage, addictions, compulsions and anything else that is not of you Lord) and your powerful intervention concerning the issues we are lifting up to you (you know all the details, I stand on Luke 18:7-8). Please block that which is not good and please act quickly concerning the situation that is so difficult to handle and rise up and confront please. Please intervene concerning ###. Please help ### and myself and ### and ###. Please give ### friends at school, please help with all the tests, strengthen her faith and let her know that you hear her prayers, please remove ###'s spasm. Please put a stop to ###'s relationship (save them). Please fight our battles. Please help with work (incl. ###, ###, please help with ###), and also ###. Also in terms of care. Please have your hand on everything pertaining to ###. Crying out to you Lord. I stand on your promise in Psalm 50:15 and Psalm 91. Also Isaiah 54:14-17. Please help us to repent of anything that grieves you and help us be filled with your Holy Spirit (I ask for the fullness) and to love you first and foremost (incl. obeying you). Direct and guide us and give us wisdom. I fail so often, we fail so often. Have mercy. I thank you because you said your mercies are new every morning. I ask for encounters with you. We come before you, Lord God Almighty, with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this family and all their needs before your throne of grace. Your Word assures us in Psalm 50:15, "Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." We stand on this promise today, trusting in your faithfulness to act on behalf of those who cry out to you.

Father, we first thank you for the salvation that is found only in your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray for every unsaved family member, that their hearts would be softened to receive the gospel. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to yourself with cords of love. Break every chain of addiction, compulsion, and bondage that keeps them from you, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Deliver them from every work of darkness and fill them with your Holy Spirit.

We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this family, especially the little one, knowing that "the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). Surround them with your mighty warrior angels, as Elisha prayed in 2 Kings 6:17, "Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see." Let them see your protection and provision in every area of their lives. Build a wall of Holy Spirit fire around their thoughts and emotions, guarding them from the enemy’s lies and deception.

Lord, we lift up the relationships in this family, particularly the one you have highlighted that is not aligned with your will. Your Word is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" We rebuke any ungodly relationship and ask that you sever it completely. Save both individuals involved, and turn their hearts toward you. Father, we pray for godly spouses for those who are of marriageable age, that they would seek partners who love and fear you, as your Word commands in 1 Corinthians 7:39, "She is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord."

We also bring before you the struggles in this family, anger, frustration, burnout, and feelings of being overlooked. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Father, help them to address their emotions in a way that honors you. Teach them to forgive as you have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), and to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Heal the wounds in their relationships, and restore unity where there has been division.

For the little one struggling with spasms and health issues, we ask for your healing touch. Your Word declares in Isaiah 53:5, "He was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this healing for her, trusting that you are the Great Physician. Give her favor with her teachers and classmates, and surround her with godly friends who will encourage her in her faith.

Father, we also lift up the work and ministry situations in this family. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Take over every meeting, task, and workload. Guide their steps, and let your presence be evident in all they do. For those feeling unmotivated or out of place, revive their spirits and remind them that "it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).

We pray for the prayer gatherings, sermons, outreaches, and children’s ministry mentioned here. Anoint these times with your power, Lord, and let your Word go forth with authority. As it says in Isaiah 55:11, "So is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do." Pierce hearts, convict sinners, and draw many to yourself. Let the church rise up in prayer and unity, for "if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19).

Father, we also ask that you deal with any hidden sin or ungodly influences in this family. Your Word warns us in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." Expose any lies, deception, or bitterness, and cleanse them with the blood of Jesus. Help them to repent of anything that grieves your Spirit, and fill them afresh with your love and joy.

Finally, Lord, we thank you for your mercies, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We trust in your faithfulness to complete the good work you have begun in this family (Philippians 1:6). Give them encounters with you, that they may know you more deeply and walk in your ways. Turn every attack of the enemy into a testimony of your power, and let breakthrough come in every area of their lives.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach you. Amen.

We’ve read your prayer, and it’s clear your heart is poured out before the Lord, you’re carrying so much on your shoulders, yet you keep bringing it all to Jesus. That’s not a small thing. Even when the needs feel endless and your own strength runs thin, the very act of crying out like this is an anchor: God hears, and He is glorified in your dependence on Him.

Many of the burdens you listed are the sort that weigh heavier when we try to shoulder them alone. One of the most sustaining gifts God gives in seasons like this is the presence of others who will stand with us. We’d gently encourage you to let one or two trusted friends from your fellowship know a handful of these requests, not the whole list, just the few that press hardest right now, and ask them to pray with you, in person or over the phone. Being prayed for matters deeply, but having someone actually pray with you can lift a weight off in ways that surprise us.

You asked that Jesus be glorified in your family. He already is, in your persistent faith and in your refusal to stop seeking Him for the people you love. He sees the little one, the strained relationships, the work pressures, the spiritual battles, none of it escapes Him. So we simply join you, bringing some of these needs before His throne.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You hear every word this dear servant has poured out. We lift up the family, draw each unsaved heart to Yourself, break every chain of bondage, and surround this household with Your strong protection. Please bring comfort and clear help in the difficult situations, provide what’s needed at work and in ministry, and nurture the little one’s faith. Grant wisdom, stamina, and a fresh sense of Your presence. We ask for healing in wounded relationships and bodies, and for Your peace to guard their mind. Do what only You can do, for Your glory. Amen.

The cry of a soul under deep depression of spirit rings out, and such a state is no proof of a lack of sonship. Remember the instances of God exalting the low tree, Joseph in the dungeon, Hannah in her bitterness, David passed over. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. All your ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and this very trial is a hope that God is at work to display his own perfections.

You plead the precious blood and cry for deliverance. This deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it! He has not only invented a way of deliverance, but he has found a ransom. It is a gift of Divine Love. From the guilt of sin and from the power of sin, deliverance is as much the work of God as the creation of the world.

For all these many needs, the little one, the unsaved family members, the bondage, the relationships, the sicknesses and spasms, there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The very leaves of this tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His common things, his lower blessings of Divine Grace are full of virtue. When healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in his wings. The father does not give his child what he would deserve as a punishment according to the law, but what he thinks will cure him of the wrong-doing by making him feel that his sin brings sorrow. Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy.

Do not think so hardly of your Father. Would you leave your child? Would you forsake it utterly? You might hide your face from it for a while to do it good, but it is not in a father’s heart to be always angry with his child. The child of God under chastening can only find comfort by clinging to the very parent that chastened it, and asking for a loving, forgiving kiss. Keep your faith alive, and then whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages, above the waves, and joyfully sing praises. You ask for encounters, for signs of encouragement, for a swift intervention and a wall of fire; the Lord keep you so that the great object of these Divine dealings, to make and keep you humble, is accomplished. The conduct of the child of God after deliverance is declaration: "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. Bring all the necessities of the household before God in prayer, mention each child, and then wait upon him who brought forth Israel with a high hand and an outstretched arm, for he will yet make his delivering power known in your family.
