Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your anxious cries reach heaven, but let your soul find rest not in the length of your pleas but in the depth of your repentance and the simplicity of faith. You invoke the blood of the Lamb, and rightly so, for that blood alone cleanses from every sin. But do not merely claim it; be cleansed. Lay aside every worldly anxiety and cling to the cross. The cross seems a stumbling block to those who seek signs and wisdom, yet it is the very power of God for salvation. Why then do you tremble at human opinions and earthly conflicts? He who delivered Israel from the bondage of Egypt will deliver you from the far heavier bondage of sin, if you let Him.

You pray against a relationship that is not according to God's ordinance. Pray rather for that soul's conversion. Do not merely ask for the relationship to end, but for the heart to be opened to the truth that set the bounds of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Do not bless what God calls sin, nor ask Him to bless a union that defies His order. Instead, cry out for repentance and deliverance from every passion. Remember, the bondage of sin is the most grievous of all, and Christ alone can break it. He came to set the captives free, not from human masters, but from the tyranny of lust and pride.

You confess that you have vented behind your brother’s back. This is a wound you have inflicted on your own soul and on the body of Christ. Go and be reconciled. Do not let the sun go down on your anger. Spiritual profit comes not from many words, but from a contrite heart that seeks forgiveness and amends. Surround yourself with godly companions who will rebuke you when you sin, not flatter you. Let the poor and the righteous be the guests at your table, and they will help you in the care of your household and the salvation of your children more than any worldly friend.

Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. Do not postpone a thorough turning to God while you multiply petitions for temporal relief. Your child needs friends, your body healing, your work success, all these the Father knows. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. Be not soft and unmanly in the face of trials. The root of the word is that we must not only be freed from the love of riches but cultivate every virtue: fortitude, attentive hearing of the word, and a continual remembrance of His promises. The enemy seeks to choke the seed with cares and distractions. Do not let the thorns of this life choke out the word.

Stand on the promises, yes, Psalm 91, Isaiah 54, but stand in faith working through love. That shield of fire is not a charm to be invoked but the very presence of the Holy Spirit in a soul that walks in obedience. The angels of the Lord encamp around those who fear Him, not those who merely demand their protection while clinging to unrepented sin. Let your first cry be, “Lord, be merciful to me a sinner,” and then all these things will be added.

Cease from scheming how God must act, and fall on your face. Thank Him for the signs of encouragement, but do not make them the foundation of your hope. The only foundation is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That sacred table, the mystery of His body broken for many, is your true strength. There, if you approach with a pure heart, you will find power to endure every hardship and to see the chains of addiction and dysfunction fall away. There, in the communion of the Church, is the great gathering of warrior spirits, not in isolation, but in the unity of the body.

Do not say, “I fail so often,” as if that excuses lingering in failure. Arise. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Cast off the works of darkness. That spasm, that relational wound, that work struggle, lay them before the Lord with thanksgiving, not with a torrent of anxiety. The Lord is at hand. In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known. Have you thanked Him more than you have begged? The prayer of a righteous man avails much, but it must be the prayer of a righteous life, not merely a desperate list.

I do not dismiss your pains. The trials you name are real and heavy. But I charge you: bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. In the family, be the first to show mercy, to speak gently, to forgive. Let your children see in you a quiet trust, not a frantic grasping. Pray for their salvation with tears, but also with the confidence that the One who began a good work in you will complete it. Do not dictate to God the means. He may allow a storm to teach the sailor steadfastness.

Go now, and make your life a living sacrifice. Let your home be a church where the word dwells richly. And when you pray, say often, “Not my will but Thine be done.” Then you will see the mighty warrior angels indeed, not as a spectacle, but in the peace that passes understanding, which guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Your prayer request overflows with a heart that truly seeks the glory of Jesus Christ. That is the most important starting point. Everything you lift up, salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, finds its meaning only in Him. The name Jesus itself means “the Lord our salvation.” He came to save His people from their sins, and that remains the greatest miracle any of us can ever experience. So when you plead the precious blood over your family, and especially over the little one, you are anchoring your faith in the one perfect sacrifice that cleanses from all sin. Keep holding fast to that. The blood is not a formula; it is your trust in the spotless Lamb who alone makes us clean.

I hear the urgency in your words, and it echoes a vital truth: now is the day of salvation. We never know when the door of opportunity will close for any soul. That is why your persistent cries for unsaved family members and friends are so precious. Do not grow weary. God’s grace that brings salvation has appeared to all, and His timing is perfect. He is not willing that any should perish. Yet even as you ask for physical healings, for deliverance from addictions and compulsive patterns, and for the removal of difficult circumstances, remember that salvation, the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, is the foundation. The healing of the body or the mind, wonderful as it can be, is secondary to the healing of the soul. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for a thorn to be removed, and God’s answer was sufficient grace, not instant removal. Our Lord sometimes heals immediately, sometimes gradually, and sometimes He strengthens us to endure. Every good gift and every healing process, whether through medicine, nature, or a sudden touch, comes from His hand. So continue to ask boldly, but rest in the wisdom that Christ is the captain of your salvation and of your whole life.

You mentioned your own failures and frustrations. I am so thankful you stand on the promise that His mercies are new every morning. That is the heartbeat of working out your own salvation with fear and trembling. This does not mean working for your salvation, as if you could earn it. It means living out what God has already worked in, with a deep reverence and dependence on Him. Repentance is not a one-time event; it is a daily returning to the fountain of grace. Ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and He will help you love God first and obey Him. That includes how you handle anger and relationships, He will give you wisdom to respond with kindness rather than venting in ways that wound. He is faithful to address the things that trouble you, often by changing you before He changes the situation.

You are also praying about many relational difficulties and sensing the sting of being overlooked or alienated. Remember that our Lord Jesus knew rejection within His own household; His own brothers did not believe in Him at first. Yet He pointed to a new family, a deeper bond among those who do the will of God. When natural blood ties are strained because of the gospel, the family of God becomes a refuge and a source of love that can surpass anything we lose. So do not lose heart over strained relationships. Pray for your relatives, but also lean into the fellowship of those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. God can supernaturally heal what is broken, but He may also use that ache to draw you closer to Himself and to His people.

Finally, you are standing on many precious promises: Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:14-17, Luke 18:7-8. God will indeed arise and confront what is not of Him. He will fight your battles. The walls of Holy Spirit fire around your thoughts and emotions are a real protection as you abide in Christ. Do not let the weight of all these details crush you. Cast every one of them on Him, because He cares for you. The same Lord who calmed the sea and cast out demons with a word is the One who hears your cry. He will act in His way and in His time, and you will see that it is for His glory. Keep crying out, keep repenting, keep believing. He is at work, even in the delay.
