Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

You pour out many words and call upon the Lord for countless things, yet examine your own heart. You plead the blood of Christ over your family and ask for a wall of holy fire, but have you first made God propitious by your own repentance? You ask for the fullness of the Spirit, yet confess that you fail often, that you vent behind another’s back, that you are angry. Why do you think the ear of God is open to such prayers when you neglect the weightier matters of the law? The apostle says, “War a good warfare.” Have you taken up the arms of sobriety and vigilance, or do you imagine that crying out with many requests will substitute for the battle you must fight each day? The morning dawns and the marketplace is a fight, a tempest and a storm; you need prayer as a weapon, but you must also go forth with a cleansed conscience.

You ask for your enemies to be confounded, yet you yourself grumble and speak against those who vex you. Do you not know that God hears not the prayer that is mixed with malice? You say you forgive, but then you list grievances. The tongue that blesses and curses from the same mouth is not pleasing to the Lord. If you would have your battles fought by heaven, then first put off the lust of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, the vainglory that clings to your ministries and desires. Hearing is not sufficient for salvation; you must be a doer of the word. You run after signs and encounters, but encounter God in the quiet of repentance and the keeping of His commandments. You ask for your daughter’s spasm to be removed and for friends for her, but what of her soul? Are you teaching her to love God first and foremost, to despise the world’s approval, or do you merely want her to be comfortable?

The prayers of many were laid up for Paul, yet he himself was watchful unto death. Do not think that because you have enlisted the petitions of others, you may sleep. If you sleep, even the prayers of the saints cannot profit you. You must rouse yourself, put off sloth, and wage the warfare yourself. You pray that God would stop a certain relationship; that is well if it is ungodly, but first see that your own house is in order. Do not be like those who cry “Lord, Lord,” but do not the things He says. You have asked for deliverance from bondage, yet you are bound by the care of this world, anxious about work, meetings, strategies, and the approval of men. Where is your contempt for riches? Where is your trust that He who feeds the birds will order your steps?

Pray, yes, but pray with tears of repentance, not with a multitude of anxious words. Give thanks that He hears you always, not because you are worthy, but because His mercy endures. Stand on the promises, but remember that the promise is for those who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. Go now, and before you list your requests again, examine yourself. Let your prayer be that the ears of your own heart be opened, for they are shut and stopped up with worldly noise. Then, when you have put away anger, gossip, and all uncleanness, call upon Him and He will answer.

Your cry for Jesus to glorify Himself in your family is heard. He has already placed salvation completely outside your own strength so that it rests entirely on His grace. What you are pleading for, salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, comes to us not because we perform perfectly, but because Jesus Christ has already accomplished it. That very name you called on, Jesus, means “the Lord is salvation.” He is your rock, your defense, and the only sure ground you can stand on.

You are right to plead His precious blood over your household. That is faith in the spotless Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. And when you ask for His warrior angels and a wall of Holy Spirit fire, you are asking for what is promised to those who trust in Him. But remember that while God invites us to pray boldly for our loved ones, salvation belongs to those who personally hear the word and believe. The jailer’s whole household was saved, but only after they all heard the gospel and each one believed. Continue to pray and trust, but do not try to manufacture what only the Spirit can produce. Keep lifting them before the throne, and do not grow weary. The day of salvation is now, and God is not slow in keeping His promises.

When you feel you are failing, your hope is not in your track record but in what Christ has done. His mercies are new every morning, not because you deserve them, but because His grace covers all your need. That grace not only brings salvation but also teaches you to rest in Him rather than rushing to act in your own frustration. You confessed anger and speaking behind someone’s back, bring that to the cross, receive forgiveness, and trust that He is able to turn even your missteps into good when you humble yourself.

As for the battles you face, the difficult relationships, the work pressures, the spiritual heaviness, stop trying to produce your own deliverance. He is your rock, your refuge, your expectation. Wait on Him. He may choose to intervene quickly, or He may take you through a longer path, but His timing is perfect. He will not let the enemy have the final word. Jesus, the captain of your salvation, is leading you and your whole family into His eternal glory. Let that hope anchor you when circumstances scream otherwise.

Lay hold of that great salvation that has appeared to all, knowing that it reaches even the lowest sinner and the deepest wound. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you and able to do far more than you can ask or imagine. Do not neglect so great a gift. Press into it with fear and trembling, not to earn your standing, but to work out in daily life what He has already worked in you. And as you do, watch Him fight for you, open hearts, heal bodies, rebuke what is evil, and bring about His purposes for everyone you have lifted up. He is faithful, and He will do it.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your family and all the deep concerns laid before our Heavenly Father. What a sacred honor it is to lift up these needs before the throne of grace, where Jesus intercedes on our behalf.

As we continue to pray in faith, we echo your cry for God’s glory to shine brightly over every situation—salvation, healing, deliverance, and protection for each precious life mentioned. We stand on the promises of Scripture, believing that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your midst. We declare the blood of Jesus over your family, asking for a hedge of Holy Spirit fire to surround you, guarding hearts, minds, and emotions from every attack of the enemy.

We rejoice in the signs of encouragement you’ve already seen and trust that God is moving even now in ways that may not yet be visible. If He has answered any of these prayers—whether in big ways or small—we would be so blessed to hear a praise report from you. If the answers still feel distant, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede with you, believing that our God is faithful to His Word.

May the Lord strengthen your faith as you seek Him, filling you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He grant wisdom, favor, and breakthrough in every area—relationships, work, school, health, and ministry. We pray for divine encounters, open hearts, and supernatural healing, knowing that nothing is impossible for our God. May He turn every trial into a testimony and every sorrow into joy.

We lift all these things before You, Lord, trusting in Your perfect timing and unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
