Lord, it is so SAD that the Mayor of ### has taken upon himself to rewrite history. He is having all Confederate Monuments Removal from the City so the status or monuments won't offend people. More than ###% of the people are against removal, ###% are for the removal, the remaining could care less. This mayor is making this a racial issue. Please Pray for Peace. Don't let a few bring so much hatred where there is none. Amen

Yes, they have removed four Civil War monuments. People of the City were not given a choice by letting us voice our opinion by a legal vote. I am scared that this will get worse before things get better. Talk about dividing the people and reopening wounds that have taken over 150 years to heal. They are trying to eliminate facts and history by removing reminders (monuments). We need to remember History so we will not repeat.

Its really sad, but the citizens of ### were not given a choice either. It was city property near ### and they decided to remove it. We all don't want history to repeat itself.
