Lord I pray

Nasetheamb

Servant of All
Lord, I pray to you today that everything goes smoothly at work. That no processes need to change. That all enrolled correctly. That everyone is nice and do not confront me in any way. That no one experiences a situation that upsets or makes for a trying time for them. I pray for a raise that is meaningful. Thank you Lord for everything you do. Surround me with love and keep us safe.

We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, let us address the foundation of our prayers, faith in Jesus. It is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We are so grateful that you have come to the Lord in prayer, and we encourage you to always remember that it is through Jesus alone that we have access to God’s presence and power.

Father God, we lift up this workplace to You, asking for Your divine order and peace to reign. We pray for stability in the processes and systems, that they would function as intended and that no unnecessary changes would bring confusion or frustration. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." We ask that You would bring clarity and efficiency to every task and that all enrollments and procedures would be handled with accuracy and integrity.

Lord, we also pray for harmony among coworkers. It is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We ask that You would soften hearts, that kindness would prevail, and that any potential conflicts would be diffused before they arise. Guard this heart from fear of confrontation, and fill it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

We bring before You the desire for a meaningful raise. We know that You are the provider of all good things, as James 1:17 reminds us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow." We ask that You would open doors of opportunity and favor, that this request would be met in a way that honors You and reflects Your provision. At the same time, we encourage a heart of contentment and trust in Your timing, for it is written in Hebrews 13:5, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"

Father, we also pray for the well-being of everyone in this workplace. Let no one face trials or hardships that would overwhelm them. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We ask that You would surround each person with Your love, protection, and comfort, and that this environment would be one of encouragement and support.

Finally, we pray for safety and Your loving presence to surround this one continually. Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over this life, asking that You would keep them safe from harm, both physically and spiritually.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this day be filled with Your peace, provision, and presence. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are with you in this prayer. That detailed list, hoping every enrollment is correct, every process stays put, every interaction is kind, tells us something. It sounds like you are carrying a heavy load of vigilance right now, holding your breath that nothing goes wrong. That kind of alertness is very tiring.

What strikes us is how deeply you want good not only for yourself but for those around you: “that no one experiences a situation that upsets them.” That is a tender and caring heart, and God sees it. It also hints at just how much the tone of your workplace affects you. When the atmosphere is fragile, every sharp word and process change can feel like a personal jolt.

We have sat with people who described something similar, a long season where work stress built up quietly, showing up first as exhaustion and a low-grade sense of dread, and then one day spilling over in a panic. It reminded them, and it reminds us, that our bodies and minds give us signals when we are trying to control more than we can carry. You do not have to carry the emotional temperature of the whole office on your own shoulders. You can hand that to the Lord piece by piece, even while you do your work with excellence.

We pray for the raise you mentioned, that God would bring a tangible, meaningful provision that affirms your contribution. But even before that, we pray His peace would guard the rhythm of your days. When the next process change inevitably comes or a colleague is having their own hard time, we ask that you feel steadied, anchored in something deeper than a smooth schedule.

Take the quietest moment you can find before your shift or during a break, just a minute, and gently name the pressure to God. Tell Him the specific fear. He already knows the spreadsheet, the conversation, and the budget; He just wants your heart.

Lord Jesus, thank You for being our steady place when everything at work feels shaky. Guard this person’s mind from the exhausting loop of worry. Grant favor for a meaningful raise, and provide wise, kind people in that workplace. When things do not go smoothly, anchor their heart in You, and quiet the fear with Your presence. Surround them with safety and a love that holds firm. In Your name, Amen.

The prayer is set wholly upon temporal ease, Lord, let nothing change, let none confront, let none be tried, let my wage increase. This is a little cage of comfort you would build and call it faith. Job sat upon the ash-heap, his glory fresh no more, his flesh a burden, and his friends false accusers. Yet in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

He did not make smooth circumstances his portion, but worshipped when everything was torn away. The desire to be hedged about from every grief while on this earth is a desire that forgets the appointed house for all living. You know that God will bring you to death, yet you pray only for a pleasant journey thither, with no stone in the path. Job found his captivity turned not when his pain ceased, but when he prayed for his friends.

Those who had wounded him with bitter words became the occasion of his blessing. You have asked to be surrounded with love and kept safe; but have you wept for those whose day is a constant trial, or whose wage is a sorrow? The supplication is too narrow, too wrapped about with self. Yield the case entirely to God, for He alone is right.

Faith does not dictate the terms of a comfortable day, but rests in the One who appoints it, even should the process change, even should the confrontation come, even should the raise be denied. Make this your ultimatum: though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Lay up your treasure where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and seek a glory that is ever fresh in the oil of His grace, not in the shifting sand of earthly circumstance.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for a day without trouble, where no process changes, where no one confronts you, where all are pleasant and undisturbed, and you ask for a meaningful raise. But consider: is this the prayer of one who walks by faith and not by sight? You seek a smooth path, but the way of the cross is not smooth. Abraham heard promises from God that seemed impossible, yet he believed, accounting that God is able even to raise the dead. He did not pray for the sacrifice to be avoided, but he trusted God’s power and goodness. Your prayer reveals a heart that longs more for comfort than for Christ.

Think on what is true, honorable, pure, and lovely. A life of virtue does not run from trial but stands firm in love. You ask to be surrounded by love, yet love is not the absence of confrontation but the harmony of souls in one body. The love I speak of is that of the church, where we bear one another’s burdens, where no one snatches up a hasty word, where each stretches out a hand to the one who falls. That friendship is a wall stronger than any tyrant’s guard. But you desire that no one even experience a trying time. How can you learn patience or compassion if you flee from the tribulations that perfect the saints?

You pray that processes not change. But our true safety is not in fixed circumstances; it is in Christ alone. He said that the one who has seen the light of this world is in safety, and how much more the one who remains with Him. Yet you ask for a calm workplace as if your peace depended on the mood of others. The Lord’s return will come suddenly, as in the days of Noah, when people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, living in luxury and insensibility. Do not be among them, seeking only a life of ease without disturbance.

A meaningful raise? Greater is the gift to feed Christ when He is hungry than to raise the dead. Do you desire a reward that fades, or do you seek treasure in heaven? Do good not for the praise of men but for the praise that comes from God. If you do praiseworthy things, do them not for the sake of praise. Consider the time: this present state is night. Raise your mind to the Lord’s Table, to that holy night when He gave Himself. There is your true food. Pray instead that your heart be united with your brethren in love, that you may speak the same thing with one mind, joined together not only in opinion but in sentiment.

Do not ask for a day without a cross; ask for strength to bear it with thanksgiving. Do not pray that no one confronts you; pray that you may love those who do, and be at peace with all as far as it depends on you. For nothing is so hostile to the soul as vice; peace and virtue place you in safety. Make a beginning on your part, and God will draw near to you.

I hear the longing in your words for a day marked by calm, with every process falling into place and every interaction bathed in kindness. It is right to bring these desires openly before the Lord. He cares about the details of our work and the safety of those around us. Yet I want to gently encourage you not to let your sense of peace rest entirely on the absence of conflict or change. The witness of Scripture guards us against the assumption that a trouble-free life is the sign of God’s favor, or that if we just do everything correctly, difficulty will never touch us. The righteous face trials they do not understand, not because of hidden sin, but because we live in a world that groans and because God’s purposes reach deeper than our immediate comfort.

You pray that no one will encounter a trying situation. That is a compassionate hope, yet hardship is woven into every human story. What we need most is not a guarantee of smooth circumstances but a mediator who stands with us in the mess. In Jesus Christ, we have exactly that: one who laid His hand on both God and man, who is not distant from our struggles but fully acquainted with them. So ask boldly for provision and for a just increase in your labor, but fix your deepest trust on Him rather than on the perfection of your day. When the unexpected comes, resist the urge to assume God has turned away. He remains righteous and merciful, even when we cannot trace His hand. Pour out your confusion honestly, as the Psalms teach us, but anchor your hope in His unchanging character. I will join you in praying that God supplies your needs, that He surrounds you with His love, and that He cultivates in you a quiet confidence that is not shaken when processes change or people disappoint. May you know the peace that is greater than a trouble-free schedule.
