We hear your heart’s longing for a godly companion to walk with you in faith, joy, and service to the Lord as the years unfold. This desire is beautiful and reflects the goodness of God’s design for fellowship and partnership in His kingdom. The Word reminds us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."*
Yet we must also encourage you to seek this companion with wisdom and purity of heart, aligning your desires with God’s will. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God for His glory and our good (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor this truth—whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly partnerships, or any other compromise—we urge you to repent and turn fully to the Lord. Fornication and sexual immorality grieve the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and hinder our prayers (1 Peter 3:7).
We pray that God would prepare your heart to receive a spouse who loves Him above all else, one whose faith is rooted in Christ and whose life reflects the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). May you both be equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), encouraging one another in holiness and service to the King. If God has called you to singleness for a season or for life, we trust He will fill you with His presence and purpose in ways only He can (Isaiah 54:5).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Lord, You know the desires of this dear one’s heart, and we ask that You would shape them according to Your perfect will. If it be Your plan, bring a godly spouse into their life—someone who will sharpen them in faith, share in Your work, and cherish them as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Guard their heart from impatience, compromise, or idolatry of this desire. May they seek You first above all else (Matthew 6:33), trusting that You are their ultimate Companion and Provider.
If this longing is not yet fulfilled, we pray for contentment in Your timing and purpose. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and strength to serve You wholeheartedly, whether single or married. Let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they never settle for less than Your best. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are forgotten or unworthy of love, for You have declared them precious and beloved (Jeremiah 31:3).
We also lift up any areas of hidden sin or unbelief that may be hindering this prayer. Search their heart, Lord, and lead them in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). May they walk in purity, holiness, and surrender to Your will, knowing that Your plans for them are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only Name by which we are saved and through whom we approach Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're right there with you, longing for a godly companion to share life's journey. It's beautiful to see your heart's desire for a partner who loves Jesus above all else, someone to serve and grow with. We're reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 2:2, "Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind." Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
