Lord I pray for my son Chris's tongue

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Lord I want to lift up my son Chris today in prayer. My son says he has faith in you and I know he does but he rejects when you point out things he's doing wrong. Chris has a very sharp tongue and he uses it often to hurt and attack people. He is very arrogant at times and comes off as very bitter. I'm not sure why because he had a good childhood. I'm not sure if it's the pressure from his job or if it's the last 2 years under all the covid restrictions. Chris is going to be a husband and a father someday. Help him to get in touch with that soft space in his heart and soul so that he can soften his voice and tongue when he talks or reacts to people. Sometimes he reacts for no reason at all and I think it's because he doesn't listen to what people are actually saying. I've been hurt a lot by the things he says quite often but I'm focused on what your word says about forgiveness and about loving our children no matter what. It's not easy but I work very hard to forget and forgive almost instantly. God I pray that you work within his soul and Spirit to calm him and soften him. I know he's suffering with lack of confidence lately. Please help him with that too. I pray this request in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Heavenly Father grant Chris all healing and wholeness in Jesus the Christ! Amen!
