We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt plea, lifting up your life and marriage in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Your faith in the blood of Jesus is a strong foundation, for it is written, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). The blood of Jesus is our victory, our protection, and our righteousness before God.
We stand with you in agreement, praying for that hedge of protection and wall of fire around your life and marriage, just as the Lord promised to be a wall of fire around Jerusalem (Zechariah 2:5). We rebuke every spirit of destruction, persecution, and harassment in the name of Jesus. The enemy may roar like a lion, but we declare that the Lion of Judah is our defender! "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith" (1 Peter 5:8-9). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your shield and fortress.
We pray that the Lord removes every weight of stress and anxiety from your heart and mind. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When the path seems impossible, remember that God makes a way where there is no way. "For the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to save you" (Deuteronomy 20:4). Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father God, we ask that You bless this marriage abundantly. Strengthen the bond between husband and wife, that they may love one another as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and unity, built on the foundation of Your Word. Guard their hearts from division, temptation, and ungodly influences. May they seek You together, growing in faith and intimacy with You and with one another.
Lord, if there are any areas in this marriage that do not align with Your will—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly habits—we ask that You reveal them and bring healing. "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Let Your love flow freely in this union, reflecting the love of Christ to the world.
We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus, protected by the power of the Holy Spirit, and blessed by the Father. No plan of the enemy shall succeed against it. May this union be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a light to others.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
