Lord, I need you.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today to find rest from my labors, to find peace for my aching heart and to meditate on your word. You know how hard of a struggle life has been for the past year, how difficult it is at night. Even though I understand this is a trial, I need you to hold me up, to sit with me and place your loving arms around me. I need to stay focused on the prize before me which is heaven. I rebuke the forces of darkness which come against me through my family and loved ones. I stand on your word and put on the armor of righteousness. I am weary from battle but still I will press on. You are the lighthouse in this raging storm. I find shelter and protection through you. Give me your mercy and your grace. Let my light shine even through the storm that the ones involved will see Jesus through me. Do not let me faulter but give me strength. Do not let evil come from my lips but give me wisdom to be gentle and kind even when I am constantly attacked.

I want to serve you, Lord. I want to do your will no matter what. Cloak me with your love and protection. To you be all glory, honor and praise. May heaven rejoice with you as the strikes of the enemy are cast off. No power on earth is greater than yours. The forces of darkness know their end is near. They have no foothold in my life because I belong to you. They attack with a vengence but I am not afraid. I fear no evil for you are with me. I feel your presence. Thank you for being my savior and redeemer. Thank you for answering my prayers and listening to me pour out my heart. I can not imagine a life without you. I surrender my body, mind and spirit to you to glorify you and do your will. Thank you for this day. Thank you for the prayer warriors that rise up above their own personal problems and give their hearts to the hurting, the lonely and the lost. I count my blessings to be their friend. Thank you Jesus for you are everything to me. Amen

Abba Father I come into agreement over Patti today, Lord hear our hearts as they cry out to You, I plead for Your comfort, peac and grace to be on Patti, Father let her experince true mercy of Your hand and love. I ask that the hurts of her heart be healed and mended, set her upright in Your glory today Lord, we ask You to reach into the depths of her heart and bring her into a restful place in Your lap, in Jesus name I pray amen...

May You be her constant guide and strength for every day. In the name of Jesus, I praise You for loving Patti enough to give up Your very own Son. Use her life and testimony to Your glory and honor.
