I prayed for this. In Jesus name. Amen.
To be in the world and not of the world is to remain focused on God and your eternal life, instead of focusing on this one. The Bible says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will be given unto you" I know it is hard, and we all struggle with it, so don't feel you are alone. Sometimes we are doing well, and the we backslide. I have found that instead of looking to the world, TV, the Internet, our friends, to find out what to think is important, I just focus on God. If I am going to watch something, or do something, or say something, I ask myself, would I do this if Jesus was standing next to me? Would I bring Jesus into this place ? Would I hang around these people if Jesus was there? For me it really keeps me in the narrow road. Just remember, only this life which soon shall pass, only what's done for Christ will last. God isn't going to care how much money we made, if we were successful, won the Olympics, none of that matters. Just asking Him what HE wants us to do, rather than focus our life on what we want. And then when we mess up, which we will, repent and try to do better. I hope this helps you.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
