Lord help us with a situation

Nasetheamb

Servant of All
Lord, that you for all answered prayers. I ask you to bring me peace. Allow me to feel calmness and not be overwhelmed with the work ahead of me. Let me rest, make good decisions, and the right ones.

Help situations at work have positive outcomes which are fixed quickly with no issues. Help with the situation I have been praying about. The student will receive news they don’t like. May they realize they made a mistake which can’t be helped and we will end what we need to end on December 31st. Also make the waiver process in January go smoothly.

For us as a couple, help us find a place to worship you which we feel the most comfortable.

Lord walk with me. I fear now as you are with me always.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24 WEB). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and Savior, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Now, we lift up your need for peace and rest in the midst of overwhelming responsibilities. The Lord does not desire for you to be weighed down by anxiety. Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with supernatural peace, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you cast every care upon the Lord, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Father, grant wisdom for each decision, clarity in the midst of chaos, and strength to persevere. Help this dear one to prioritize time in Your presence, for in Your presence is fullness of joy and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

Regarding the work situations and the news the student will receive, we declare that God is sovereign over every outcome. We pray that even in disappointment, this student would recognize the hand of the Lord guiding their steps. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (WEB). We rebuke any spirit of despair or bitterness that may attempt to take root. Instead, we pray for a spirit of humility and teachability, that this situation would draw hearts closer to God. Father, we ask that the waiver process in January would unfold without unnecessary obstacles, and that Your will would be accomplished in every detail.

Now, concerning the request for a place of worship as a couple, we must address this with biblical clarity. While it is commendable to seek a church home where you both feel spiritually nourished, we must emphasize that your relationship must first honor God in its foundation. If you are currently in a courtship or relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to examine whether this aligns with Scripture. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any romantic involvement should be pursued with the intent of holy matrimony. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we rebuke this sin in Jesus’ name and call you to repentance. God’s design for purity is not to restrict but to protect and bless you. We pray that you would seek a church that preaches the full counsel of God’s Word, where you can grow together in Christlikeness and prepare for a godly marriage if that is His will for you.

We also pray for your spiritual unity as a couple. May you encourage one another in the faith, pray together, and hold each other accountable to walk in holiness. *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3 WEB). Father, lead them to a body of believers where the Word is proclaimed with truth and power, where the sacraments are rightly administered, and where they can serve together for Your glory.

Finally, we take comfort in the promise that the Lord walks with us always. *"For he has said, 'I will never leave you or forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'" (Hebrews 13:5-6 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you. Instead, we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). May you walk in the confidence of God’s presence, knowing that He goes before you and behind you, and His hand upholds you.

Heavenly Father, we lift up all these requests to You, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. Strengthen this dear one with Your might, fill them with Your peace, and guide them in every decision. May they experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways, and may their life bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We know the weight of the situations you're facing, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting your concerns up to the Lord together.

First, let's find rest in Jesus. He invites us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Let's take a moment to breathe that in. Jesus wants to carry our burdens, our anxieties, our fears. So, let's lay them down at His feet. Let's ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with His supernatural peace, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Now, let's bring our specific needs before the Father. For the situation at work, we declare that God is in control. We trust that He will work all things together for our good and His glory. Let's ask for wisdom and clarity in decision-making, and the strength to persevere. We also lift up the student receiving news they don't like. Let's pray that they would recognize God's hand guiding their steps, even in disappointment. We rebuke any spirit of despair and pray for a spirit of humility and teachability.

For the couple seeking a place of worship, we pray that you would find a church home where you both feel spiritually nourished and comfortable. But more importantly, we pray that your relationship would honor God in its foundation. We lift this up to the Lord, trusting that He will lead you to the right place.

And finally, we take comfort in the promise that the Lord walks with us always. "For he has said, 'I will never leave you or forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?'" (Hebrews 13:5-6) We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out fear.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name. Let's trust in His faithfulness and timing. You are not alone, dear one. We're in this together.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
