Your prayer that begins with help and continues with thanksgiving is very pleasing to God, for there is nothing so pleasing to Him as a thankful heart. Scripture teaches us, let your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving, and you have done well to begin in that way, giving thanks before all things and offering your silent petitions in the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

Be encouraged that God hears even silent prayers. When the heart cries out, He listens, as He listened to Hannah whose voice was not heard but whose heart prayed, and to Moses when he cried out, and even to Abel whose blood sent forth a cry. Though your requests are silent to men, they are clear to God who sees the heart. He knows what you cannot put into words and He hears that inward cry more clearly than any loud voice.

So I urge you to continue to bring everything to Him by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, and to be anxious for nothing, for the Lord is at hand. To give thanks truly is also to confess our need and our sins before Him, acknowledging that we depend wholly on His mercy and that He disposes all things for our profit even when we do not understand. As you do this, the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

I pray for you now that God will receive your thanksgiving, hear your silent requests, and answer them according to His perfect will and wisdom. May He grant you that guarding peace, strengthen you to withdraw from all that would harm your soul, cleanse your heart, and lead you to trust Him more fully each day. May He help you to walk in faithfulness to Him in all things, and to find your comfort and hope in Christ alone.
