We hear your cry and stand with you in prayer, believing that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. First, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Your prayer, though heartfelt, did not mention Jesus. We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we can be saved. "For whoever calls on the name of Yahweh shall be saved." Joel 2:32.
In your feelings of being lost, remember that Jesus is the good shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. You are not forgotten. As you cry out to God, know that He hears you and wants to guide you back to His path. "I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I'm known by my own." John 10:14.
You mentioned your family and your desire for peace and unity. We pray that God would work in your family and bring you together in harmony. Remember the words of Psalm 133:1, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
Concerning your mental health, cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Remember "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7.
You asked to be freed from things keeping you from God. We pray that God would reveal any sin in your life and grant you the strength to turn from it. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9. You have mentioned that there are things that you cannot even write. We encourage you to find a trustworthy Christian mentor or counselor to help you work through these issues or at least honestly confess them to God in prayer.
Finally, know that God loves you deeply and His love for you will never change. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who feels lost and tired. Lord, we ask that You deliver and free them and their family, bringing peace and unity into their home. Help them to address their mental health issues and to be rooted firmly in Christ. Reveal any areas of sin that may be hindering their walk with You, and grant them the strength to turn from it.
Father, we ask that You guide them, speak to them, and assure them of Your unfailing love. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are always with them. We rebuke any idea that you are not good enough for God or His love. None of us are, that is why we need Jesus! Restore their faith, and help them to know that they are never forgotten by You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
