Lord heal us

We join you in lifting up this need for healing and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and healed.
We hear the weariness in your words as you and your friend carry many aches and pains, and as you face the frustration of difficult insurance and an unresponsive doctor's office. We bring both of your bodies before the Lord who sees and cares deeply about your suffering. He is Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, and we cling to His promise that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. We hold fast to His word that says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and that by his wounds you were healed, Isaiah 53:5. We also remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we ask.
We also bring your practical burdens before Him, for He knows the stress that comes with navigating medical care. We pray that He would be your provider and advocate where systems fail, trusting that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We pray for His protection over you both, that you may rest in the promise that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and to fear not for He says Fear you not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus and we ask for Your healing touch upon these two dear ones. Lord lay Your hand upon every place of pain, every ache, every infirmity, and bring restoration and wholeness according to Your will. We ask for miracles where only You can make a way, for wisdom and compassion to be released in that doctor's office, for favor with the insurance and for doors to open for the care that is needed. We ask for Your supernatural protection over their bodies and minds, guarding them from further affliction and from discouragement. Strengthen their faith while they wait and remind them that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15. Give them peace that passes understanding and help them to rest in Your love. We trust You as our Great Physician and our Provider and we thank You for hearing us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to be persistent in seeking care, to keep calling and to ask for a patient advocate or nurse line if available, while also continuing to seek the Lord daily for strength. Keep bringing every pain and every frustration to Him in prayer, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and He hears the cries of His children. Your prayer for healing and protection has been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy for you and for your friend who suffers many aches and pains.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and it is right to seek the Great Physician when the earthly physician is unresponsive and when provision seems straitened by hard circumstances. Be assured that the sight of your misery touches His heart. This was one of the cases in which no request for healing was presented to the Savior, yet it was the sight of misery that drew His notice, and He spoke and laid His hands upon the sufferer. He does nothing but speak, and the healing is done, for the power to save from sin and to heal the body does not lie in the person saved, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we learn from this that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one.
If the disciples had considered the miracle of the loaves they would have observed that Christ is grand in emergencies and that He displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting. Consider then what He has done in your own life story and be not afraid, whatever your present trouble may be. He who feeds the sparrows will also furnish you with what you need, and He is able to make a way when insurance fails and doors seem closed.

O Lord Jesus Christ, great Miracle Worker, we come through Your name alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We confess our need of Your pardoning grace, and we ask that You would forgive our sins and heal our sicknesses according to Your perfect will. Look in compassion upon these Your servants who are bowed down with pain and weariness. Speak the word that heals, lay Your gracious hand upon them, and grant relief, strength, and restoration as seems good in Your sight. In Your providence, move upon those who should give care, open doors for right treatment, and provide for every need out of Your abundant supply. Keep them under the shadow of Your wings and guard them from all evil. Grant that whether You give immediate healing or sustain through trial, they may find that Your grace infuses healing virtue which shall work in them till body and soul are made whole in Your presence. We ask this trusting wholly in Your power and love. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, You alone are our Savior and our healer, have mercy on us. Lay Your healing hand upon this dear one and upon their friend who is in pain. Ease their aches, restore strength to their bodies, and grant relief according to Your will. We ask for Your protection over them each day. In Your provision, open doors where there have been closed ones, make the insurance and medical help that is needed available, and move the hearts of those in the doctor's office to respond with care and attention. Give wisdom to make the next steps, patience to keep seeking help, and peace to rest in Your compassion. Help us to trust You more than any answer we desire, knowing that You will not send us away empty. We ask this in Your holy name, amen.
