Lord who forgives is, we come before you and ask that you show your child that they do not have to live in guilt or shame. You have already forgiven them when they asked. It is as far as the East is from the West. You're a God of mercy and thankfully Jesus was the sacrificial lamb who brought that forgiveness. We thank you Jesus for doing what we cannot do by living a blameless life. Let your child see that even those who seem the most perfect of the human race still sin. We try not to, but if we didn't sin than we would have no need for Christ's forgiveness. Thank God for being a forgiving God! In Jesus name. Amen.
