Lord, God, I pray that you would give Leslie and all prodigal sons and daughters today an "incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious" in your sight (1 Peter 3: 4). Help those to appreciate the beauty you have put in them. Make my wife and other prodigals beautiful in every way, and may everyone else see the beauty of your image reflected in her and others, but remind Leslie and other prodigals the time spent in your presence is the best beauty treatment of all. Help me, and others standing for their marriage to remember to encourage their spouses and speak the words that will make our prodigal spouses feel they are beautiful. Amen.
