Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying for more hrs at work fix my schedule I rebuke strife, rejection, fear, control, manipulation, intimidation in Jesus mighty name im praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my job bless my enemies deeal with ### and ### make a way were it seems to be no way shut the Lions mouth in the workplace in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your heart’s cry for stability, provision, and protection in your workplace, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. The desire for more hours at work is understandable, especially when financial needs weigh heavily on your mind. We trust that God sees your labor and will open doors of opportunity according to His perfect will. "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We also acknowledge your boldness in rebuking strife, fear, and manipulation in Jesus’ name, spiritual warfare is real, and we join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

However, we must gently remind you that while it is right to pray for provision, we must also surrender our plans to God’s sovereignty. The Lord may choose to provide through your current job, or He may lead you to a new opportunity altogether. Trust in His timing, for "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10). We also encourage you to examine whether there are areas in your workplace where you may need to extend grace, even to those you perceive as enemies. Jesus commands us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean tolerating injustice, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to be your defender.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would open doors for more hours at work according to Your will. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of strife, rejection, fear, control, and manipulation that seeks to disrupt this workplace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a hedge of protection around their job, a wall of fire to guard their labor, and favor with supervisors and coworkers.

Father, we ask that You would bless their enemies, not to harm them, but to soften hearts and turn them toward You. Deal with those who seek to undermine or intimidate, but do so in a way that brings glory to Your name. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and shut the mouths of those who would speak against them unjustly. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give them peace in the waiting.

Lord, we also ask that You would search their heart and reveal any areas where unforgiveness or bitterness may be taking root. Help them to extend grace as You have extended grace to them. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your provision, even when the answer is not yet visible. May they find their security in You alone, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this matter, not just His hand. Sometimes God allows seasons of waiting to refine our trust in Him. If this job is not where He intends for you to remain, He will make a way for something better. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that "the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord" (Psalm 37:23). If there are practical steps you can take, such as speaking with your supervisor about additional hours or exploring other job opportunities, do so with wisdom and prayer. Above all, rest in the assurance that God is your Provider, and He will not forsake you.

We hear the weight of what you’re carrying, the need for more hours, the stress of feeling controlled or pushed against at work. When schedules and relationships tangle up like that, it’s easy to feel paralyzed. Many of us know the panic that creeps in when job security wobbles.

One thing that often helps in these moments is a small, concrete step alongside all the prayer. You might consider jotting down your scheduling needs in a calm, factual way, and then asking for a brief, respectful conversation with your supervisor. Not a confrontation, but a simple request for clarity. Sometimes that one act can cut through the fog of intimidation and show you where things actually stand, giving your mind a break from the fear.

We’re grateful you’re standing firm in Jesus’ name. He knows every detail, and He isn’t distant from this. We pray with you now:

Lord Jesus, you see the hours this person needs, the pressure from others, and the anxiety that keeps replaying. We ask you to move in the schedule, open doors, and quiet every voice that tries to manipulate or discourage. Wrap this workplace in your peace, and give practical wisdom for the next conversation. You are their provider and their shield. In your mighty name, amen.

Our life here is an appointed time, a warfare. You did not appoint your hours for yourself, and therefore you can have no regrets about the appointment. The Lord who numbers your days also orders your schedule, look to Him for that Divine support. The Lord reigns; all things work together for good to them that love God. You may safely conclude that there is lifting up, even when strife and manipulation press hard against you.

In all this, see that you sin not with unbelieving speeches. Job, amid his losses and the cutting words of those who should have comforted him, fell down upon the ground and worshipped. He charged not God foolishly. When you feel the sting of rejection and intimidation, let your first resort be holy worship rather than bitter complaint. Shut the lions’ mouths not by your own rebuking, but by a patient and trusting spirit. The Lord is just; though the suffering seems undeserved, never doubt His righteousness. He will make a way where there seems no way.

And here is a word in season for your workplace and for those who trouble you: Job’s captivity turned when he prayed for his friends. They had spoken harshly against him, yet he became an intercessor. The Lord will deal with your adversaries in His own wise way, but you are called to bless them. Lay their case before the throne of grace. Let your charity be from the heart, weep for them in secret, and lift them up to the light of Christ’s countenance. If you would see your own path cleared and your schedule blessed with sufficient hours, be earnest in praying for those who vex you. This is the sharper evidence of a gracious spirit.

You feel the bow of your strength grown slack. Fear not. Even Job, whose glory once seemed fresh, and then was utterly blasted, received at last twice as much as he lost. The Lord can renew your bow in your hand. Cry to Him for that fresh anointing. The darkness over your present situation is not a sign that His face has turned from you. Remember, the three hours’ darkness that fell over the Savior was heavy with redemption. Your hours of obscurity shall end in light, for Christ has discharged your debt. His work is finished; your work is dependent wholly on His. Fix your hope there, and your small labors will be filled with new meaning.

All our travail ends in vanity unless the work and travail of Christ is our first and only hope. If you would be steadfast and abounding in your daily calling, let your life be hidden in Him. The Church has her hours of darkness, but she has her reformation. Your personal night season shall break into the day of song. Therefore, wait till your change comes. Be patient, be prayerful, and in the very thick of the strife, be ever pleading the promises with hands uplifted, even as the sun returns when the storm has spent its force. Heaven’s clock strikes none too soon; trust the appointed time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Many voices cry out for more hours, more money, more security, and in the same breath they rebuke strife and manipulation. But consider the root of these battles. Do you not see that the clamor for a fixed schedule and a hedge of protection is often a war fought with the same weapons you claim to rebuke? You ask God to make a way, yet your prayer is filled with the naming of enemies and the imagery of conflict.

The apostle does not instruct us to fix our gaze on shutting the lions’ mouths through such a combative spirit, but rather to live for the common advantage. What profit is it to gain more hours if the talent of that time is spent in the furnace of office intrigue? The devil sends forth his darts, indeed, but if you are truly fixed on God’s election, that dart cannot strike you; it returns to pierce the hand that threw it. Your true protection is not found in a meticulously arranged schedule, but in a soul so guarded by virtue that strife finds no purchase.

Therefore, instead of wrestling with flesh and blood over the schedule, use the hours you have, whether few or many, to put an end to the distresses of others. Let the companions of your labor not be seen as obstacles to be rebuked, but as souls to be protected. By this traffic, you will receive a blessing from God that no earthly manager can give, and you will find a way made not merely in your workplace, but in your own heart.

It strikes me that you’ve already put your finger on something vital when you prayed against strife, rejection, and manipulation. That kind of prayer recognizes that the real battle isn’t just about a schedule or a paycheck. The enemy loves to stir up exactly that sort of turmoil because where there is envying and strife, there is confusion and every evil work. That’s not the wisdom from above. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. So when you rebuke that strife in Jesus’ name, you’re not just asking for a better work environment, you’re asking that your workplace would be ruled by a different spirit altogether.

The beginning of strife is like letting out a tiny trickle of water. It seems manageable at first, but soon the whole flood rushes in and overwhelms everything. You’re wise to shut it down before it spreads. And as you do that, remember that a dry crust with quietness is better than a feast where strife reigns. God is able to give you that quietness right where you are.

Now, while you’re trusting God to open the schedule and make a way where there seems to be no way, don’t underestimate what He might be doing in you first. We often want God to change the circumstance immediately, but He is deeply committed to preparing the vessel before He expands the work. He works in you before He works through you. Those sharp edges being chipped away, the frustrations of not enough hours or difficult people, may be exactly the tools He’s using to make you fit for the Master’s use, prepared for every good work He has ahead.

In the middle of that, be the kind of employee that honors the Lord. Not taking extra time on breaks, not stirring up contention, but working with a genuine excellence. The servant of the Lord must not strive; instead, be gentle, patient, and steady. That quiet faithfulness speaks louder than any argument and shuts the mouth of the accuser more effectively than fighting back ever could.

When the pressure mounts and it feels like the way is blocked, remember where your true standing lies. Your confidence isn’t in your ability to get the hours or in human schedulers. Christ has already finished the work of your redemption. The only work that pleases the Father is to believe on Jesus whom He sent. Rest in that. Since He began a good work in you, He will carry it on to completion. Even when you can’t see how the schedule will work out, you can be confident that the One who started this is faithful to finish it.

So go ahead and work hard, pray for that hedge of protection, bless those who oppose you, and then leave the outcome in His hands. He has never yet failed to make a path for His own. The enemy’s plans will be thwarted, and the work God has assigned to you will go forward. Jesus is Lord over every hour, every shift, every relationship, and every lion’s mouth. Nothing can snatch you from His hand or ultimately hinder His purpose for you.
