Dearest Vladimir,
As a brother in Christ, I offer you some spiritual knowledge, insight, and advice. When we pray to God in the name of Christ, the Lord answers our prayers that are according to His will and His timing, not ours. At times, He will have answered a prayer, but that answered prayer might take longer in receiving the response, because it could be the Lord's will that it will not be granted or answered until a later time-- hours, days, months, or even years could pass according to His timing and will. It is a known fact from the testimony of the prophet Daniel, that the Lord God does indeed know what we will pray beforehand and that He will answer them before we are even done praying to Him. And just because He will answer prayers before you are even done praying, doesn't mean that you will see or know the answer or blessing right away. But, then again, the Lord doesn't always answers prayers, even from faithful servants, because He may not see them fit according to his will and the direction and plan He has for their lives.
Another reason for hindered or unanswered prayers is unconfessed sin. As believers, we know that Jesus paid the full price of all our sins--past, present, and future. And when we do sin, as believers, we must continue to confess our daily sins to keep and maintain our personal fellowship with God. Think of it like a telephone... your holding the phone to your ear and talking (praying) to God. You have a full connection, a lifeline (Jesus), that makes it able to converse with the Father. If there is a power outage (sin), the line becomes disconnected to the Father. The line (Jesus) is still there waiting for the power to come back on (by confessing sin) so that you may have fellowship with God once again. Again, even Daniel the prophet prayed to God, asking Him to forgive him of his "daily sins" and the Lord responsed to Daniel before he was finished. King David is also a perfect model for us, too, because we can sin without even realizing or knowing it. In
Psalm 19:12-14, he says to the Lord:
But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
I, myself, use this too, on a daily basis at the beginning of my prayers by saying, "Lord Jesus, forgive me of all my daily sins. All sins that I'm aware of... and all sins, faults, and errors I'm unware of."
No need to mention a laundry list of all your sins, because Jesus and the Father already know them. They know what you're referring to.
1 John 1:9 says:
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
By doing so, The Lord will look upon you as if you never sinned, and you will keep your fellowship with God (through Jesus) open and clear to communicate. And trust the Lord, always. And by my own testimony, you will see the Lord begin to answer prayers and blessing you even more, often, and give you gifts beyond your wildest dreams. And when He does, just be sure to give a prayer of thanksgiving and praise... because not only does He like that, but He deserves it! I hope this helps.
