Lord Father feeling so downtrodden and heartbroken right now from all that has happened this week at work. Lord every time something traumatic happens it brings back the traumatic experiences of the past, I feel so broken and weary I'm not even sure what to pray. The traumatic experiences also seem to be very big when they happen (eg mother died of cancer, husband has life threatening illness, what's happening at work). Lord next week is also going to be very hard I have so many things happening I am afraid Lord please no more bad things...I don't know how I will cope with the additionally stress of going to the dr...if there is a serious health issue with me too our household will not make it..i am afraid of what it might be and also what investigative procedures there might be. Lord please forgive my sins I am at Your Feet the main thing is I want to be right with You no matter what happens just let me be forgiven if nothing else thank You Lord in Jesus Name amen

  Tina, just remember, sweet sister, that God has everything under control. Nothing catches HIM by surprise and HE knows the end from the beginning. When we finally are able to turn everything over to HIM it takes all the pressure off of you. Stress is such a destructive force and can do us so much harm. I know there are no easy solutions to any of these issues you have mentioned but that is the wonderful part we can cast all our cares upon Him because He cares so much for us.

  I like to imagine the Lord is asking me to throw Him one of those fishing nets filled with all the problems of the day and I just let it sail. Oh, how wonderful to let things go and just let God take control. You will be surprised just how fast a lot of the aliments of your body will disappear. Just remember too that we have the sure promise that if we will trust HIM and put the Kingdom of God first everything else will be added.  

  Here is one of my favorite verses. Isaiah 41:10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
