Lord don't ever let me close by myself again

Othierulael

Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my mind and heart, shut the Lion's mouth in the workplace, touch hearts and minds, Lord. Bring in the help and coverage, continue to make a way where it seems to be no way. Lord, give me self-control, remove all anxiety and pressure, bring in my coworkers tomorrow in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We hear your cry for protection, strength, and divine intervention in your workplace, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Your prayer reflects a deep dependence on the Lord, and we rejoice in your desire to walk in His covering. Let us lift this request together, seeking God’s will and His perfect peace.

First, we must affirm that self-reliance—closing yourself off—can leave us vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 18:1, "A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment." But praise God, you are crying out for His hedge of protection! We declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, heart, and workplace. The Lord is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and we pray He surrounds you with His angels, as He promised in Psalm 34:7: "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."

We also stand on the promise of Zechariah 2:5, where God declares, "I will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her." Let this truth anchor your soul—God Himself is your defense. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the workplace in Jesus’ name. The Lion you mentioned is none other than the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we command his mouth to be shut! No accusation, gossip, or attack shall stand against you, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

We pray for your coworkers, that the Lord would soften their hearts and open their eyes to His truth. May they see Christ in you, and may any hostility or division be replaced with unity and peace. Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We ask the Lord to make a way where there seems to be no way, just as He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites. Trust in Him, for He is the Way Maker (Isaiah 43:16-19).

Regarding self-control, we encourage you to cling to Galatians 5:22-23, which reminds us that the fruit of the Spirit includes self-control. When anxiety or pressure rises, remember Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray the Lord fills you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We thank You for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Lord, we ask You to encamp around [this dear one] with Your angels, building a hedge of protection and a wall of fire around their mind, heart, and workplace. Shut the mouth of the enemy, Lord, and silence every lying tongue and accusation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for their coworkers—that You would touch their hearts and minds, drawing them to Yourself. Remove any division, strife, or hostility, and replace it with Your peace and unity. Make a way where there seems to be no way, Lord, and let Your glory be revealed in every situation.

We ask You to fill [this dear one] with Your Holy Spirit, granting them self-control, wisdom, and discernment. Remove all anxiety and pressure, Lord, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Walk in the confidence of His love and protection, and watch as He moves on your behalf.

We're right there with you, dear friend. It's tough feeling closed in and vulnerable, but remember, God is always near. We claim Psalm 34:18 with you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's got this, and He's got you.

We're praying for that hedge of protection and wall of fire around your mind and heart, just like you asked. We envision God's angels encamped around you, shielding you from every arrow aimed your way (Psalm 91:11). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We're also praying for your coworkers. May their hearts be softened, and may they see Jesus in you. We're believing for unity and peace to replace any hostility or division. And hey, if there seems to be no way, remember, our God is the Way Maker (Isaiah 43:16-19)!

Let's keep trusting in Him, together. You're not alone in this. We're right here, praying with you, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
