Lord, do you hear my prayers? Am so tired Lord.

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Tonight, I come before You with a tired heart. Lord, You know everything that is happening in our lives. You know our financial situation, the bills we need to pay, and the needs that we cannot meet right now. Father, I am trying to be strong, but tonight I feel so weak. I keep thinking about tomorrow, about our responsibilities, and about where the money will come from. I was hoping for help from people who said they would help us, but until now, nothing has come. I have also reached out to my own family, but there has been no reply. Lord, I confess that sometimes I wonder if You still hear my prayers. I have been waiting for so long, and my heart is getting tired. Please forgive me when fear becomes stronger than my faith. Father, please hold me tonight. When I cannot see a way forward, help me trust that my life is still in Your hands. Open doors that no one can close. Please provide for our needs, guide us toward the right opportunities, and give us wisdom to face our financial responsibilities one day at a time. Lord, touch the hearts of the people who may be able to help us. If help comes through unexpected people or unexpected opportunities, please give us the humility to receive it and the wisdom to use it well. Please protect my husband and our family. Give us strength, good health, peace of mind, and courage to face another day. Tonight, I surrender all the worries I have been carrying. I cannot control tomorrow, Lord, but I can place tomorrow in Your hands. Even when I do not understand Your timing, please help me not to lose hope. Remind me that I do not have to carry this burden alone. Lord, I am tired. Please give my heart some rest. Let me sleep tonight without fear, and give me new strength when I wake up tomorrow. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen. 🙏❤️

We have read your prayer and we hear the deep weariness in your heart, and we want you to know that the Lord does hear your prayers even when silence feels so heavy and waiting feels so long.

When you wonder if He still hears you, His Word gives us assurance. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:17-18. He has not turned away from you, He is close to you in this very night of tiredness. When you feel you cannot carry this burden another moment, Jesus invites you Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. That rest is what we are asking for you tonight, a rest that allows you to sleep without fear and to wake with new strength.

We understand the weight you are carrying, the bills that must be paid, the needs that feel impossible to meet, the disappointment when those who said they would help have not come through and even your own family has not replied. It is painful to be vulnerable and then to feel forgotten. But we are reminded that our ultimate hope is not in people, even well meaning people, but in the Father who knows every need before we speak it. We encourage you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. He sees tomorrow and every responsibility that tomorrow holds, and He calls us not to be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself Matthew 6:34, but to seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

Your honesty in confessing that sometimes fear feels stronger than faith is precious to God, He does not rebuke you for that tiredness, He understands your frame and He forgives when you turn to Him. He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29. And we claim His promise for you that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. It may not come in the way or timing you expect, perhaps through unexpected people or unexpected opportunities as you prayed, but we trust He will open doors that no one can close and give you wisdom to steward well whatever He provides.

We also thank God for your heart for your husband and your family, and we pray for the sanctity and strength of your marriage as you walk through this trial together. May this pressure draw you closer to one another and closer to the Lord, bearing one another's burdens in love.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear sister and her husband and family to You. Lord, You know every bill, every need, every sleepless thought. Tonight we ask You to hold her as she has asked, to let her feel Your arms around her when she feels so weak. Forgive her when fear rises up, and renew her faith. Lord, open doors of provision, guide them toward the right work and opportunities, give them wisdom to face financial responsibilities one day at a time, and touch the hearts of those who can help if it is Your will. Protect her husband and her household, grant them good health, peace of mind and courage for another day. Give her sleep tonight without fear and new strength in the morning. Help her to truly surrender tomorrow into Your hands and not to lose hope even when Your timing is hard to understand. Let her know without doubt that You hear her prayers and that her life is still in Your hands. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and her thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer, one day at a time, and to rest in the truth that when your heart is overwhelmed, you can cry to Him who is a rock that is higher than you Psalm 61:2. He is faithful, He has not forgotten you, and He will give you the strength for tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

We heard your prayer tonight and the tiredness in it. Wondering if God still hears you when bills keep coming, help you counted on does not come, and even family is silent, is such a heavy and lonely place to be. Thank you for being honest about that fear and weariness.

It makes sense that tomorrow feels overwhelming when you are trying to carry every need at once. You named it so well, you cannot control tomorrow but you can place it in God's hands. When the weight feels like that, we have found it helps to narrow the focus to just the next step. If you can, choose one trusted person in your church or community to tell honestly how you are doing, even just one pressing need for tomorrow, so you are not carrying this alone. And tonight, give yourself permission to rest and let tomorrow be tomorrow.

We are praying with you and for your husband and family, for wisdom for each decision and for peace as you wait on the Lord's provision and timing.

Father, we bring our sister and her family to You tonight. You see their needs and the waiting that has left her tired. Hold her as she sleeps, quiet her heart from fear, and give her new strength for tomorrow. Lead them to the right opportunities and to people who can help, and give them wisdom to use well what You provide. Remind her she is heard and not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your tired prayer has indeed been heard, even when your own heart whispers that perhaps it has not. The Lord is not deaf to the cry of His children. He is a waiting God, waiting to be gracious unto you. When everything else has broken down, when help promised by others does not come and even family is silent, you find Him still lovingly waiting, graciously waiting, ready to pardon, ready to provide, ready to hold you. His patience toward His own is never in vain, and His waiting shall turn to a glorious transaction of grace in due season.

You confessed that fear has sometimes been stronger than faith, and that you wonder if He still hears. Let that confession itself be your comfort, for we come near to God not by our strength but by the blood of Jesus. Through Christ we draw near at the mercy seat, and He is near to them that are of a broken heart. You need not fear that you are far off by your weariness or want. In Christ you have been brought near, and at that throne of grace your sighs and tears are heard. Even our Lord Jesus cried, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, and yet He still could say My God. So may you, even in darkness, still cling to Him and say My God, and know that nothing shall drive you from that hold.

You have looked to people who said they would help, and they have not come. This is a bitter disappointment, but it may be the Lord teaching your soul that sweet lesson, My soul, wait thou only upon God. They that wait upon the Lord shall not want any good thing. It is a blessed independency to know no dependence except upon God. Your soul, like the stars, may seem to hang upon nothing, yet it is upheld by the right hand of the Majesty on high and by His promise which cannot fail. Wait only upon Him, be silent before Him, rest calm and undisturbed under His hand, though you cannot see the way forward.

And this waiting is not a passive despair. The word says, Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Waiting upon God sustains courage and renews strength, until you mount up with wings as eagles. When you are out of order, weary and worn, go to your God and wait upon Him with double earnestness, and He will by His Spirit impart a mysterious strength into your soul. He sits at the helm of Providence, and when the vessel is almost upon the rocks, He can pilot it into deep waters again.

Therefore I pray for you tonight, that the God of all grace would give your tired heart rest. May He forgive where fear has overtaken faith, and cover you in the righteousness of Christ. May He open doors that no man can shut, provide for your daily needs, and guide you and your husband toward right opportunities with wisdom to steward what He gives, one day at a time. May He touch the hearts of those whom He would use to help you, and give you humility to receive and wisdom to use it well. May He protect your husband and your family, keep you in good health, and grant you peace of mind and courage to face another day.

You cannot control tomorrow, but you can place tomorrow in His hands, and that is the safest place of all. Lay your burden down there tonight. May the Lord give you sleep without fear, and new strength when you wake. He who has waited to be gracious will yet be gracious, and you shall find that to wait upon Him is never in vain.

In the name of Jesus Christ our hope and our nearness to God, Amen.
