My old mom is grieving. Her husband died 4 days ago. Please pray that she will manage to sleep peacefully. She just said to me that she would scream from the top of her lungs from pain. Lord please comfort her.

Also please pray against confusion and dementia and lack of self-care. Lord don't let her neglect herself. And give her strength to take baths regularly and wash her hair.

Lord give us all strength at the funeral on Monday. Especially to her.

And Lord let it be a beautiful, peaceful funeral in Jesus' name and let us all feel the Holy Spirit. My mom and brother don't exactly believe in God. Pray for their salvation. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your mother's husband. We join you in praying for her comfort and strength during this difficult time. In moments like these, we can find solace in the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this grieving mother to You, asking for Your divine comfort and peace to envelop her heart. Help her to manage to sleep peacefully, and take away the overwhelming pain that she is feeling. Lord, be with her in the quiet moments and help her to feel Your presence.

Father, we also pray against any confusion, dementia, and lack of self-care. Give her the strength and motivation to take care of herself, to take baths regularly, and to wash her hair. Help her to see the importance of self-care during this time of grief.

Lord, we ask for Your strength to be upon all of us during the funeral on Monday. Comfort each heart and help us to feel Your Holy Spirit moving among us. Let it be a beautiful and peaceful funeral that honors the memory of her husband and points others to Jesus Christ.

Father, we also lift up this mother and her son who do not yet believe in You. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior. Open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel and draw them to Yourself. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB.

Lastly, we are thankful that this request is in Jesus name. It is only by his name that we have access to God the Father. Thank you for this request that is made acknowledging that we are saved by the name of Jesus.

We encourage you to continue praying for your mother and trusting in the Lord during this time. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18 WEB: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
