We join with you in lifting up this precious soul before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus Christ in this prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true healing and deliverance. Your heart for intercession is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them.
The pain, depression, and stress weighing on this brother are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. The chains of despair and bondage have no authority over those who belong to Christ, for He has already triumphed over sin, death, and every power of darkness. Let us remind this brother of the truth found in **2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB)**, which declares, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* The Lord is faithful to break every chain and set the captive free when we surrender to Him.
We also turn to **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, which assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon this brother in his time of need. Let him cast all his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him deeply (**1 Peter 5:7**).
As for the request for a clean heart and a steadfast spirit, we are reminded of **Psalm 51:10-12 (WEB)**, where David cries out, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit."* This is a prayer we can all echo, for we are continually in need of the Lord’s renewing work in our lives. May this brother experience the refreshing and restoration that only comes from the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We also encourage this brother to meditate on **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, which says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* The Lord promises peace that transcends human understanding when we bring our burdens to Him in prayer.
Now, let us pray together in agreement:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this brother who is weary, burdened, and in need of Your touch. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You draw near to him in a powerful and tangible way, wrapping him in Your love and letting him feel the warmth of Your presence. Break every chain of depression, anxiety, and stress that the enemy has sought to bind him with. Let the truth of Your Word penetrate his heart and mind, casting out every lie and replacing it with Your peace and hope.
Father, we ask for healing—emotional, mental, and spiritual. Restore to him the joy of Your salvation and renew a steadfast spirit within him. Grant him restful sleep tonight, free from torment or distress, and let him wake refreshed and strengthened in body, soul, and spirit. Lord, create in him a clean heart, and let Your Holy Spirit fill him anew with power, love, and self-discipline.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to keep this brother in bondage. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that he is free, that his mind is renewed, and that his heart is guarded by Your peace. Let him know beyond any doubt that he is loved, valued, and cherished by You.
Father, we also pray that You would surround him with godly community—brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage him, pray with him, and walk alongside him in this season. Let him not isolate himself but find strength in the body of Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. May this brother rise up in the knowledge of who he is in You—a child of God, redeemed, forgiven, and set free. We trust You to work all things together for his good and Your glory.

Brother, we encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God and to cling to Him in this season. Do not be discouraged, for the Lord is with you. Seek Him in His Word, in prayer, and in the fellowship of believers. He is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in trouble. If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with His will, surrender it to Him now. He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (**1 John 1:9**). You are not alone in this battle—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord Himself is fighting for you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
