We hear your cry and we are lifting you up before the Lord right now. We can hear how exhausted and overwhelmed you are, how burnt out and tired you feel, and how heavy the burden of caring for yourself and for others has become while you are also struggling with your blood sugar. Please know you are not alone and you are deeply seen and loved by God even in this weary place.

The Lord knows your frame and He does not despise your need for rest. Rest is not failure, it is part of His design for you. Jesus says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30. When our hearts are overwhelmed we can cry as the psalmist did, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2. We serve a God who gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:29. He invites us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7.

We want to gently encourage you to care for your body as well as your soul, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Struggling with blood sugar and constant exhaustion is serious and we urge you to reach out quickly for practical help, to a trusted doctor or clinic, to a pastor or counselor, and to a safe family member or friend who can walk with you day by day. You do not have to keep carrying everything alone. God often provides rest and help through His people, and it is wise and biblical to ask for help, to set healthy boundaries, and to take real time for sleep, nourishment, hydration, and Sabbath rest. Even God modeled rest for us. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed you cried out to the Lord, and we want to remind you with love that it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father and find true rest and salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is by calling on the name of Jesus Christ that we are forgiven, healed, and held. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him today and to keep bringing every weary prayer to God in Jesus name.

We are praying for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is so burnt out and tired and feels they cannot keep going. Lord You see their exhaustion, their struggle to care for themselves and others, and their battle with their health and blood sugar. We ask You to have mercy and to be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. Wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give them permission and provision for real rest, for sleep, for nourishment, and for help from others. Lead them to wise medical care and to supportive people who will help carry this burden. Renew their strength as only You can, restore their body, calm their anxious thoughts, and remind them that they are precious and beloved in Your sight. When they feel overwhelmed, lead them to the Rock that is higher. Teach them to cast every care on You because You care for them. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep reaching out, to tell someone near you today how deeply tired you are, and to let others help you step by step. God is near to those who are brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18. You are not forgotten. We are continuing to pray that the Lord will give you daily bread, daily rest, and daily strength to keep going one moment at a time in His grace.

We're glad you reached out even while you feel this exhausted. It takes courage to say out loud that life feels like too much and you don't know how to keep going. We hear how worn down you are, how much you are carrying for yourself and for others, and how deeply you are longing for real rest.

Needing rest is not a failure. When demands keep coming without space to recover, anyone can become depleted, especially when you care a lot for other people. God sees both your weariness and your desire to keep going, and you are not alone in this.

One caring next step we encourage is to connect soon with a doctor or clinic about your concern with your blood sugar, alongside prayer and not instead of it, so you don't carry that worry by yourself. It can also help to let one trusted person nearby know how you are doing this week, a pastor, counselor, family member or friend, who can support you and help you sort what feels most pressing.

In the days ahead, try to give yourself permission to notice what is most urgent and what can wait, and to place the day's burdens in God's hands as you are able. You do not have to carry everything at once.

Father, we bring our friend to You today. You see their tiredness and how hard they have been trying. Please give wisdom for next steps, bring rest for body and mind, surround them with caring support, and guide those who can help them. Lead them gently day by day and remind them they are held by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a voice that has heard your sigh, even when your words could scarcely form themselves, and it is the voice of Him who said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

You write as one who is spent and heavy laden, tired beyond words, burdened with caring for others while you can hardly care for yourself, and troubled in body with your blood sugar. The Lord knows this weariness. He does not despise it. He invites you to come to Him just as you are, weary and worn, that He may give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not only rest after death, not after a long probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, there and then. We who have believed do enter into rest. It is a perfect rest in its beginning, for when the conscience finds that Christ has finished the work, the soul may rest because the work is finished.

There is also a second rest, a rest after rest. First He says, I will give you rest, and then He says, Ye shall find rest unto your souls. The first is the rest of forgiveness, the rest of a sinner who comes and is pardoned. The second is the rest of a learner who takes His yoke and learns of Him. Take His yoke upon you and learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest. This is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not rest with the yoke cast off, but with His yoke upon you. His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and when your mind is made like the mind of Christ, you shall find a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find more and more.

This rest does not mean that you become idle. Lazy people cannot rest, they never know what rest means. True rest to the child of God is to rest in the Lord Himself, not merely in changed circumstances. It is contentment and trust in Him, hope in God, and expectation that He will sustain you. Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Therefore I would point you to Christ alone for salvation and for daily strength, and I would urge you also to use the means He has provided for your body and mind. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and your body needs care. If your blood sugar troubles you and your strength fails, seek help without delay from those who can care for your health, and tell a trusted pastor, family member or physician how deeply you are struggling. Do not bear this alone. The Lord often gives rest through His people, through the church where you may find fellowship and help, through honest rest and sleep, through regular nourishment and through sharing the load you have tried to carry alone. To ask for help is not failure, it is wisdom.

May the Lord grant you grace to come to Christ anew this hour and to learn of Him. May He give you rest about everything, rest at all times, rest in every part of your nature, that deep and true rest which the world cannot give and cannot take away.

Let us pray for you. O Lord Jesus, Thou who art meek and lowly in heart, look upon this weary one who labours and is heavy laden. Give rest now, perfect rest through Thy finished work. Help this soul to take Thy yoke and to learn of Thee, and there to find rest. Sustain the body, calm the mind, provide daily bread and needful sleep, and raise up helpers to bear the burden. Bring this soul to rest in Thyself, and keep it there till the perfect rest remains. Amen.
