Longing, Lost & Confused" Spare Some Time & Lift me up to GOD in Prayer..!

Thank you for opening your heart so honestly. I have heard your cry and I am praying for you. You described feeling helpless, worried, weak, lost, confused and stressed, weighed down by debt that has lingered for more than a year, by business that will not break through, by a sense that words spoken against you or some dark power is blocking you, and by the weight of intimacy and other things done knowingly and unknowingly. You also declared the truth that you are a child of God and that greater is He who is in you than any power in this world. That is the place to stand.

Scripture shows us what the curse really is. When Adam sinned, the judgment of God came upon man, upon woman, and upon the earth itself. To the man was given hard labor to bring forth bread from the ground, to the woman pain in childbearing, to the ground thorns and thistles. That is the curse of God against sin, and the law makes it plain. Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do all that is written in the law. All of us have fallen short, so all of us were under that curse, which is death.

But Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. It is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree. When Jesus hung on the cross, He bore the curse that was ours. The crown of thorns pressed upon His brow was a fitting sign, for thorns are the very mark of the curse upon the earth, and He wore them to show He was carrying that curse for you and for me. Because He bore it, you do not have to live under it any longer.

This is why no person can put a lasting curse on you if you belong to Jesus. There is a story in the books of Moses about a king who hired a prophet to curse the people of God. He offered money and said, come and curse this people for me, for I know that he whom you curse is cursed. The prophet sought the Lord, and God answered plainly, you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed. The king tried again and again to have the curse spoken from different places, but God would not allow it and instead turned the words into blessing. In the same way, when you are in Christ you are blessed in Him. People may speak evil words against you because of a debt or out of anger, but their words cannot overturn what God has done for you on the cross. What Christ has blessed, no man can curse.

That does not mean there is no struggle or that an enemy does not oppose us, but it does mean the enemy is defeated. The light you carry in Christ does break the darkness, not because of your strength, but because Jesus already bore the judgment and rose again.

There are two things to bring before the Lord with a clear heart. First, if there is sin, including intimacy outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman which God has ordained for our good, bring it into the light before Him. Trying to hide guilt or deny it keeps us in bondage, but if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. You do not need to live with shame as if you are a toy for others to control. Confess what you know to be wrong, receive His forgiveness through the blood of Jesus, and ask Him for strength to walk in purity from this day forward. God will not bless what is outside His design, but He will forgive and restore the one who turns to Him.

Second, bring your practical burdens to Him. Debt is a heavy weight. Ask the Lord for wisdom, discipline and honest labor to repay what you owe as you are able, and to live faithfully with what He provides. Business setbacks and closed doors are painful and can feel like an invisible wall. Sometimes they are the result of circumstances, decisions, or a need for new wisdom and counsel, not a hidden curse. Commit your work to the Lord, seek godly counsel, work diligently, and trust Him with the outcome. He sees your effort since December and the long season of striving without reaching your goals. He invites you to trust Him one day at a time rather than living in constant fear that everything will be blocked.

I am praying for you in Jesus name, that you will know deep peace in place of confusion, strength in place of weakness, and a clear mind in place of stress. I pray that you will rest in the truth that Christ has borne the curse for you, that no evil word or dark power can separate you from His love, that your sins confessed are fully forgiven, that you will be given wisdom to handle your debts with integrity, and that your work will be guided by His hand. May the Lord lift the weight you feel, establish your steps, and keep you close to Himself, for He alone has the final word over your life.
