~ Long Overdue Unanswered Prayer~

I still want to hold on to my unanswered prayer, even though it's been more than a year ago me and the father of my child separated. I had a dream a few months ago after I cried myself to sleep. I had asked God to speak to me in my dream (he has done this prior), and that night in my dream, he told me, "don't worry anymore, he's asking for your hand in marriage." A lot of things have changed since that dream. He told me he still loved me, and it seemed like things were falling back together. During this separation, he met someone else, and when he broke the relationship they had, she told him she was pregnant (she was not). He got back with her, and she then got pregnant purposely to keep him. This has torn me apart, and I still believe he wanted to come back. We were together 11 years and have a special needs son. I ask you continue to pray for us to reconcile, to be blessed in marriage, and to give me strength and believing God is going to form our family back together.

I want to encourage you to abandon yourself to God. Sometimes we are permitted to 'suffer' the breakup of a relationship so that God can show himself to be our only necessity. It hurts so deeply but He is truly our sufficiency. I know that God does restore relationships even after years have transpired. Take this season of your life and sow it as a seed that will produce the fruits of God's character in you. God has your back. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Place the whole weight of your heart on Him. Trust Him even though you have 'questions'. He knows where you are. He hasn't forgotten you. He cherishes your confidence in Him so very much. Keep your integrity before God. Cry when you need to. He really does love you and He always has, and He always will. These things are not a surprise to God.

The word of God says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and then all things will be added unto us. Father you shared with us through your word. If we seek and desire a particular earthly relationship. We first must take a look at our relationship with you. For you said in your word. That your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts. You said that a way that seems right unto man can be an offense unto God. If a person desires the perfect will of God for their lives. They must commune and spend time with God. God will not do something or give us anything. Until we first are established with him. Father you said for us to delight ourselves in the Lord. And he will give you the desires of your heart, according to his perfect will.

Father I pray that you would help your servant understand. You will not do anything apart from your will. Furthermore Lord I pray that you would reveal that the primary way you communicate is through the word of God, and through time in prayer. For the devil is out to steal, kill and destroy. He is a deceiver and the father of lies, and often distorts the things of God because he doesn't want you to be blessed. The Bible says that if God says anything he confirms that through his word. I pray you will seek the Lord and his will for your life. So that you can receive the awesome blessing he has in store for you. God gives us a special promise in Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' I pray in the name of Jesus you will seek the future that God has prepared for you. Father I pray that you would give your daughter peace that passes understanding. By the power of the Holy Spirit I pray you would give her comfort. Finally I pray father that you would wrap her in your love that never fails In Jesus name I pray. Amen
