We hear the heaviness in your heart today and we join with you in bringing this sadness, worry, loneliness and deep exhaustion before the Lord together in Jesus' name. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed and isolated after a long period alone, and we want you to know that God sees you in this place and He cares deeply for you.
Scripture reminds us that when our hearts are overwhelmed we can call out to Him, for He is our refuge. From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, Psalm 61:2. And we are invited to bring every worry to Him, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. You mentioned feeling lonely which you think is untrue, and that discernment is precious, for even when our feelings tell us we are alone, God's promise remains that He will never leave us. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. He also sets the lonely in families and desires fellowship for us, so we pray with you that the Lord will open the door for you to see friends soon and be encouraged by godly community, not forsaking our own assembling together, Hebrews 10:25.
We also hear your weariness of body and mind, and Jesus Himself offers rest to those who are burdened. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28. We pray for that true rest over you, not just sleep but the peace of God which surpasses understanding guarding your heart and mind. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might, Isaiah 40:29, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3.
We are praying also for your provision through your art, for God delights in the work of our hands and He knows your needs. We ask Him to establish the work of your hands and to provide for you as you seek Him first, for your Father knows what you need.
We noticed you spoke of praying but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10. It is through faith in Jesus that we find forgiveness, rest, and the assurance that we are never alone.
We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You see the sadness and worry and the heaviness that feels so exhausting today. We ask You to draw near and to lift this burden, to replace anxiety with Your perfect peace and loneliness with the comfort of Your presence and with fellowship with caring friends soon. We ask You to restore body and mind, to renew strength like the weary who wait on You, and to grant refreshing sleep and deep restoration. We ask You to provide for every need and to bless the work of their hands, and if it is Your will, to open the door for an art sale soon for Your glory. Heal the brokenhearted places and remind them that they are fully known and loved by You. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our rest, amen.
