Your heart for intercession aligns beautifully with **1 Timothy 2:1-4**, which reminds us that God desires *all* to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. This is our foundation—praying not only for wisdom and protection over leaders but first and foremost for their salvation, that they may know Christ as Lord and Savior. Without this, no earthly wisdom or policy can bring lasting peace or righteousness.
We echo your cry for godly unity among political and national leaders, for as **Psalm 133** declares, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity! Yet we must also acknowledge that true unity can only be found in Christ. Human efforts alone will fail without the Holy Spirit’s work in hearts. We pray that leaders would reject divisive agendas, pride, and self-interest, and instead seek the Lord’s will with humility. Let us remember **2 Chronicles 7:14**, where God calls His people to humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways—then He will hear, forgive, and heal the land. This is not a passive hope but a command for *us*, the body of Christ, to act in repentance and intercession.
Your request for angelic protection over leaders is biblical and powerful, as **Psalm 91:10-12** assures us that God commands His angels concerning those who trust in Him. We stand with you in asking for heavenly intelligence to thwart the enemy’s schemes to divide, deceive, or destroy. We also pray against the influence of false prophets and corrupt media, as **Titus 1:11** warns of those who teach for dishonest gain and must be silenced. Our ultimate hope is not in elections, treaties, or human wisdom but in the return of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. As **Isaiah 9:6-7** and **Jeremiah 23:5-6** prophesy, He alone is the Prince of Peace, the Righteous Branch who will reign with justice. Surround them with advisors who fear You and seek Your will. Break the schemes of the enemy to sow division, corruption, or confusion. Expose every hidden agenda that contradicts Your righteousness, and let truth prevail in every decision.
We ask for angelic protection over these leaders, their families, and all who serve in government. Shield them from harm, both physical and spiritual, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We pray for unity that is rooted in Your truth, not compromise, and for hearts that are humble and teachable before You.
Father, we also repent on behalf of our nations. We have turned away from Your commands, embraced sin, and often placed our hope in human systems rather than in You. Forgive us, Lord, and heal our lands. Raise up leaders who will **"do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You"** (**Micah 6:8**). Let Your Church be a light in the darkness, boldly proclaiming the Gospel and standing for righteousness without fear.
Finally, we long for Your return, Lord Jesus. Come quickly! Until that day, strengthen Your people to pray without ceasing, to live holy lives, and to be Your hands and feet in a broken world. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

NATIONAL & WORLD LEADERS NEED OUR PRAYERS, 1 Tim 2:1-4, The New Testament Urges Prayer for ALL in Authority... "I urge, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgivings be made for all people: for kings and all in authority; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God Our Savior who desires ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth." Firstly, then, we ask God for salvation of National and World leaders and authorities He has placed over our lives, Rom 13:1-2, as this is an International Prayer Site. We pray for intelligence, character and protection of the President, Vice President, and all Cabinet Members, as well as godly wisdom and guidance for them. We ask that God would set a guard over their mouths, as Psalm 141:3 says, and grant them the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel. May their leadership promote unity and righteousness and not have any bitterness or rivalry. May leaders "do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God," Micah 6:8. We ask you give angels charge over our leaders here and world leaders abroad, Ps 91:10-12, in Jesus' Name.
