Loan

We hear your heart in this need and we join together with you before our Father in prayer for your bills and for transportation. Financial pressure is a heavy burden and we know God sees your situation and cares for you deeply.

We want to share what Scripture teaches about provision and about borrowing so you can seek wisdom with a clear conscience. God promises to care for His children and to supply what we truly need as we put Him first. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. At the same time the Bible cautions us about debt. The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender Proverbs 22:7 and Owe no one anything, except to love one another Romans 13:8. This does not mean that every loan is sin, but it does mean we should be very careful and prayerful before taking on debt, to count the cost, to have a realistic plan to repay, and to avoid hasty decisions. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5. The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back Psalm 37:21 reminds us that if we do borrow we must be faithful to repay.

We encourage you to bring every detail to the Lord, to ask for His provision and also for His wisdom. We encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a trusted mature believer in your local church, to look carefully at your budget, your income and expenses, and to consider alternatives to a high interest loan if possible. Sometimes God provides through extra work, through wise stewardship, through help from the body of Christ, or through a more affordable vehicle than first expected. Whatever door God opens, we pray you will walk through it with diligence, honesty, and contentment, trusting Him rather than being driven by anxiety.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we urge you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name not only for financial help but for forgiveness and eternal life. It is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know every bill that is due and every need for reliable transportation. We ask that You provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory, that You grant wisdom to steward what has been entrusted, and that You open the right doors for work and provision. Give clarity about whether a loan is wise and if so guide to honest and fair terms with the ability to repay. Guard from predatory debt and from decisions made in haste or fear. Help to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust Your faithful care day by day. Draw this heart closer to Jesus, give peace that passes understanding, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels to be trying to keep up with bills while also needing reliable transportation. Needing a car to get to work and care for daily responsibilities is a real pressure, and it's understandable you would be looking for help to get through this stretch.

We are praying for wisdom and steady provision for you in the weeks ahead.

One practical step that has helped many people in a tight financial season is to sit down with a trusted, reputable financial counselor before taking on a new loan. Few pastors or counselors are equipped to do detailed financial planning themselves, so it can help to get a second set of eyes from someone who does this work regularly. A local church office, or a nonprofit community agency or credit counseling service, often knows about free or low-cost budgeting help, assistance programs, and safer ways to approach a used car purchase without a high interest loan. If you have a church you are connected to, you could ask if they have a business manager or benevolence contact who could point you to solid local resources. Bringing a simple list of income, bills, and debts to that meeting can make it much more useful.

Father, we lift this need to You and ask for Your provision and clear direction. Give wisdom for each decision about bills and transportation, open doors to trustworthy help and counsel, and bring peace while You work. Guard from discouragement and from any harmful quick fix. We trust You to care for every practical need as we seek You first. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request concerning bills and the need for a used car has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace in prayer. We understand the pressure that comes when needs press closely and provision seems far off, and we do not take lightly the burden you feel.

Scripture reminds us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask Him. Though the starving citizens of Samaria did not know it, the Lord had made provision in abundance for all their hunger, and there it was within a stone's throw of the city gates. The Lord had done it. So we are taught to look not first to a loan or to any earthly means, but to the Lord Himself who is able to provide. We also remember that to add to our cares without seeking more grace is like the crowding of a boat until it sinks, without putting in any more provision. Our daily prayer must be, Cause Thy face to shine upon us, for when His face shines, there is light and help and sufficiency.

The Word also calls us to honesty and diligence in earthly duties, to meet our bills and keep clear of entangling debts where we are able, and to live with a conscience that seeks to be faithful before God and man. The borrower is servant to the lender, and therefore we must seek wisdom and not haste in taking on debt. A loan may appear to be an answer, yet it can become a heavier burden if not entered with great caution, counsel and prayer.

We have prayed for you in this way:

Our Father in heaven, we bring this need before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, through whom alone we have access to Thy mercy and salvation. Thou knowest the bills that press and the need for transportation for work and daily duties. Cause Thy face to shine upon this one who asks, and grant wisdom from above. Provide according to Thine abundant goodness, open doors for honest provision, and give prudence to steward what Thou entrusts. Keep this soul from rash decisions and lead by Thy Spirit to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness, trusting that all needful things shall be added. Grant peace in Christ, contentment with godliness, and faith to see Thy hand at work. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel close at hand, perhaps a pastor or a mature believer who can look with you at your budget and obligations, and to bring every decision before the Lord with prayer and patience. Continue to cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and trust that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget His children who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request for help with a loan to pay your bills and to obtain a used car, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord.

God knows your needs and He cares for those who trust Him. Scripture teaches us to ask Him to supply what is necessary for life and health, and to be content to make provision for what is truly needed rather than for excess. It also teaches us to be wise and careful about debt, remembering how gracious God has been to us in forgiving our great debt through Christ, and learning from His mercy to walk in honesty, diligence and generosity toward others.

We pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to provide for this need according to Your wisdom and mercy. Grant provision for daily bills and for reliable transportation to work and to care for responsibilities. Give wisdom in every financial decision, guidance to live within Your provision, counsel from faithful believers, and opportunities for steady work. Guard the heart from anxiety and from the weight of unnecessary debt, and help to be a good steward of all You supply. Show Your faithfulness so that there may be peace, contentment and thankfulness in every circumstance. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and in the grace of Your Son, who is our only hope and Savior. Amen.

If you are able, seek wise counsel in your local church about budgeting and borrowing, and continue to bring your needs to God in prayer while doing what you can with diligence and faithfulness.
