We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, having lost your job and struggling with living expenses and health issues. We appreciate that you've turned to God for provision and help in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares for you and knows your needs. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's trouble is enough for the day.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will provide for your needs. We also commend you for taking practical steps to apply for medical insurance and other aid.
As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to remember Paul's words in Philippians 4:19 WEB:
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our fellow believer who is in need of Your provision. We ask that You would open the doors for a new job opportunity and provide for their living expenses. We pray for Your healing touch upon their health and for Your guidance as they seek aid. Help them to trust in You and to seek You first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian community for support and assistance during this time. God's people are called to bear one another's burdens and to love each other in action and truth.
