Beloved of All
Father, please strengthen the prayer meeting we have. I ask the intercessors are strengthened not by might nor power but by The Holy Spirit, Zech 4:6. Draw people out, Jn 6:44, let them not despise the day of small beginnings, Zech 4:10, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro seeking to show Yourself STRONG, 2 Chron 16:9.

Pour out the Holy Spirit of Prayer on us, (Spirit of Grace and Supplication), Zech 12:10. Help us be burdened for souls, Ezek 9:4, labor until Christ is formed in people, Gal 4:19. May it grow to like three days a week, also more outreaches, effectiveness, the wise ones win souls, Prov 11 and those that lead many to righteousness like the stars forever, Dan 12:3...

Also, for the weekly evangelistic outreach, Lord, let us not let it get “rained out,” or not meet “because of the heat” or if someone “gets sick,” or “I bought some land and have to check it out,” or “I married a wife and cannot come,” or “I bought some oxen and have to try them out,” Lk 14:18-20.

Let the love of CHRIST COMPEL us to not live for ourselves (since we're already dead), but for Christ who died and rose on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14-15. Let the LOVE of CHRIST COMPEL US to COMPEL others to come to the wedding feast, Lk 14:23-24. Let the Word of The Lord prevail like in Ephesus, Acts 19:10, even granting attesting miracles, Acts 19:11, and sound conversions, like Zacchaeus, Lk 19:8, 2 Cor 7:9-11. Keep the evil one away from the team on days of prayer and outreach, 2 Cor 2:11, Eph 6:18-19. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in the growth of prayer meetings and evangelistic outreaches, seeing the Lord’s hand at work in these small but mighty beginnings. The Scripture you’ve referenced in Zechariah 4:10 reminds us, "For who has despised the day of small things?" Indeed, the Lord delights in faithfulness, and His eyes run to and fro throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). We stand with you in agreement, praying that the Holy Spirit would continue to empower and sustain every intercessor, not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

Father, we lift up these prayer meetings and ask that You would pour out the Spirit of grace and supplication upon every participant (Zechariah 12:10). Ignite within them a holy burden for souls, as You marked those in Ezekiel 9:4 who sighed and cried over the abominations in the land. Let their labor in prayer be fruitful, that Christ may be formed in those who are lost (Galatians 4:19). We pray for wisdom and effectiveness in evangelism, that the wise would win souls (Proverbs 11:30) and that many would be led to righteousness, shining like stars forever (Daniel 12:3).

Lord, we also bring before You the weekly evangelistic outreaches, asking that You would remove every obstacle that could hinder their fruitfulness. As You warned in Luke 14:18-20, let no one be distracted by the cares of this world, whether it be possessions, relationships, or personal comforts. Instead, let the love of Christ compel us to live not for ourselves but for Him who died and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:14-15). May we, like the servants in Luke 14:23, go out into the highways and hedges and compel others to come to the wedding feast of the Lamb.

We pray that the Word of the Lord would prevail mightily in these outreaches, just as it did in Ephesus (Acts 19:10). Father, grant attesting miracles, signs, and wonders to confirm Your Word (Acts 19:11), and let there be sound conversions, hearts transformed like Zacchaeus, who repented and made restitution (Luke 19:8). May those who hear the Gospel respond with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:9-11).

We also ask that You would guard the hearts and minds of every team member involved in prayer and outreach. Protect them from the schemes of the evil one (2 Corinthians 2:11), and clothe them in the full armor of God, that they may stand firm and pray at all times in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18-19). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and may every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, we thank You for the privilege of partnering with You in this work. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You as Lord and Savior through these efforts. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We’re rejoicing with you over these small beginnings that are clearly not small in the Father’s eyes. There’s something deeply moving about watching a prayer meeting multiply like this, it tells us the Spirit is stirring appetites that only His presence can satisfy, and that’s worth celebrating.

Your list of potential obstacles made us smile with recognition. Rain, heat, sickness, land purchases, oxen trials, the enemy’s playbook hasn’t changed much, has it? But naming those things out loud before the Lord is itself a form of warfare, and we’re standing with you in that. One thing that helps us when we’re praying for a team’s sustained momentum is to take time in the prayer gathering itself to pray through those very vulnerabilities. Not just asking for protection, but actually naming the intercessors by name when we’re together and lifting up the specific pressures each one faces that week, the overtime shift, the struggling child, the discouragement that whispers it doesn’t matter. That kind of targeted care often becomes the very thing that keeps people showing up, because they know they’re not just cogs in an outreach machine but beloved co-laborers being carried by the others.

Keep letting the love of Christ compel you, not as a grit-your-teeth duty but as the overflow of people who know they’re already dead to the rat race and alive to something eternal. That posture alone is magnetic.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the spark You’ve kindled in this prayer meeting. Strengthen each intercessor by Your Spirit, and protect them from the weariness and the small distractions that would steal their focus. Draw many to these gatherings, and let the outreaches bear lasting fruit, not just decisions but genuine transformations. Keep the evil one far from the team, and let Your word run swiftly and be glorified. We ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

Your prayer is a cordial to my spirit, for it breathes the very atmosphere of the Holy Ghost. It is no small thing to desire with such earnestness the increase of prayer and the prospering of the Word. That request springs from a heart that has tasted that the Lord is gracious, and longs to see His kingdom come in power. You have seized upon a truth too much neglected in our day: that all our labour is in vain unless the Spirit be poured out from on high. Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord of hosts, this is the secret of all holy fruitfulness. Let us never cease to cry, “Take not Your Holy Spirit from us,” for if He withdraw, our prayer meetings become a form, our evangelism a cold machinery. Prayer without the Spirit is a bird without wings, an arrow without a bow. And how quickly we grieve Him! Unbelief, coldness of heart, the petty trifles of the world, these vex the Dove of God. Search out the sin; give it no quarter; and never rest until the blessed Spirit returns with quickening power.

I rejoice that you plead for the increase of prayer meetings from one to two, and even to three each week. It is precisely in such assemblies that the church is knit together and the banner of the gospel is unfurled. We read that when the disciples were gathered in one place, the room was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. Who knows what God might do if we were more importunate, more united, more reliant upon His promise? Do not despise the day of small things. The great oak sleeps within the acorn. A few souls met in the mother of John Mark’s house became the seed of a harvest that shook the Roman Empire. Let love compel you to gather the people, and let no lame excuses hinder. The oxen, the property, the heat of the day, these are the devil’s spokesmen to keep men from their knees. But the love of Christ constraineth us; we are debtors, for He died for all, that they which live should not hence¬forth live unto themselves. O that we might be baptized into that holy compulsion, and so go into the highways and hedges to compel them to come in!

You have prayed for attesting miracles and sound conversions, like that of Zacchaeus. The Spirit is the true Wonder-worker. He takes the things of Christ and shows them to men. He alone can turn the stony heart to flesh, and make the rebel a ready servant. Yet we must not only pray for conversions, but labour until Christ be formed in the people. Do not be content with a few tears of repentance; press on for that deep, gospel work which produces a life of restitution and holiness. And for the evil one, he must be kept at bay by the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watch thereunto with all perseverance. The enemy will not prevail against a church that abides on its knees beneath the cross.

Let your cry rise day and night: “Return, O Holy Spirit, return!” He is no phantom, no remote influence, but the very presence of the living God within the soul. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Oh, live in the conscious possession of His power; then your prayer chamber shall become a vestibule of heaven, and your street preaching a gate of glory. May the Lord make your little company as a well-watered garden, and your evangelism as a net cast into the sea, gathering of every kind. Press on, my brother, my sister, with the holy violence that takes the kingdom by force. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. And He will not fail you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very desire you express for prayer and the winning of souls is a work of grace already stirring within you. Yet take care, for you ask for the Spirit to be poured out as if He were not already given to the Church in full measure since Pentecost. Remember the word: before Christ was glorified, the Holy Spirit was not yet given in that abiding, indwelling abundance which the Apostles received. But now, the Gift is here, and He is not stinted. Do not look for a new descent of the Spirit as though He had fled from the earth, but fan into flame the Gift already kindled in you. Do not quench it. The same Spirit who empowered the Apostles to fill tens of thousands with the faith dwells in the humblest believer. Therefore, let your prayer meetings not be a clamoring for what is already bestowed, but a persistent, watchful yielding to Him. Pray at all seasons in the Spirit, with all perseverance, and He Himself will intercede with groanings too deep for words.

You fear the excuses of men, the land, the oxen, the marriage, and rightly so, for these things often spring from a heart that clings to the cares of this world and not to the wedding feast of the King. Yet the compelling love of Christ does not operate by mere human urgency or forceful speech. Our Lord’s yoke is easy and His burden is light. The manner of His compelling is the unwearied kindness that bears the diseases of the soul. Even when souls are afflicted with incurable maladies of sloth or worldliness, we do not cut off the limb; we persist in tending them with all gentleness and mercy. Do not despise the day of small beginnings, nor grow bitter when men offer poor reasons. Instead, let your own steadfastness, born of the love of Christ which judges that if One died for all, then all died, put to death those very excuses in your own heart first, the impulse to be offended, the secret thought that the work depends on your might. It is by the Spirit, not by power or might, that the desires of the flesh are overthrown, like horse and rider cast down. When the love of Christ truly compels you, it will be a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, and in so doing, it wears down resistance as the importunate widow wore down the unjust judge.

As you go out to the highways and hedges, begging souls to come in, go not in a spirit of bondage, but of adoption. Do not fix your eyes on the visible numbers, as if the increase from one meeting to three were the true sign of God’s strength. His eye runs to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is blameless toward Him, not necessarily those with swelling crowds. A single soul soundly converted, like Zacchaeus making restitution with godly sorrow, is a greater attestation than many outward miracles. The Word did prevail in Ephesus, but it did so through the bold utterance of the mystery of the gospel by a man in chains. Expect opposition; expect the evil one to seek an advantage. It is for this very reason you must keep praying with all prayer, watching thereunto, not only for your own team but for all the saints, that utterance may be given to you to open your mouth boldly. Do not despise the form of simple, plain gospel speech. The Spirit wrought the miracle of the Virgin Birth in a manner beyond all human explanation, so that the Evangelist simply declared it was the work of the Holy Ghost. So it is with the new birth: preach the word, beseech men to be reconciled to God, and leave the unexplainable miracle of regeneration to Him.

Therefore, let your prayer meetings be ever filled with this sober confidence: the Gift has been given. Yield to Him. Let your outreach be marked by perseverance so patient, so free from irritation at the excuses of men, that it can only be explained by the love of God shed abroad in your hearts. In this way, the wise will win souls, not by their own wisdom, but by the foolishness of preaching, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine because the Lord and not themselves was their strength.

I see a heart that desires what only the Spirit can accomplish. When you ask for the Spirit of prayer to be poured out, you are asking exactly what our Father delights to give. Jesus said, "How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." So keep asking, not from a place of striving or tarrying as if He hasn't already been given to the church, but from the confidence of a child crying, "Abba, Father." That relationship is the ground of all true prayer.

The longing for souls, that deep compassion, is indeed the secret behind all powerful intercession. Yet be cautious about making "the burden of the Lord" a worn religious phrase. God once rebuked those who perverted His words by overworking that language, making every man's word his own burden. If you carry a burden, let it be the one Jesus described: "My yoke is easy and My burden is light." That burden is not a heavy weight of self-imposed duty; it is the compelling love of Christ that frees you from living for yourself, because you have reckoned yourself dead to sin and alive to Him. That love will push past every excuse, whether it's rain, heat, a new field, or a business deal. The invitations in Luke 14 were all declined because the responders were still focused on their own interests. But you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ. The love of Christ compels, not as a grim obligation but as a joyful surrender.

Do not despise the day of small beginnings. His eyes run to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal. Growth from one meeting to two, and perhaps to three, will happen as He builds it, not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. Meanwhile, trust that even when you don't know exactly how to pray, the Spirit Himself intercedes with groanings that words cannot express. He helps your weakness and aligns your prayers with the will of God.

As for the evangelistic outreach, remember that the Spirit who came upon the early church was not given to be sought again through some pattern of tarrying, but to be received and flowed out from lives already indwelt. You have the Spirit. Ask to be filled, and let that overflow into witness. Then, whether the day brings heat or drizzle, you go anyway, not because of grit, but because Christ's love for the lost moves you. The Word will prevail in its own power, and God may even grant attesting signs as He sees fit. What we long for are sound conversions like that of Zacchaeus, where repentance bears tangible fruit and sorrow leads to a transformed life.

May the Lord strengthen each intercessor, keep the evil one from your team, and cause the gospel to spread and triumph. The Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are His, and from that unshakable relationship all effective prayer and labor flows.
