We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of reverence and awe, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom we have victory over every power of darkness. There is no name, Lilith or any other, by which demons can prevail against the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
First, we must address the matter of invoking or engaging with names and entities that are not of God. Scripture warns us against consulting or giving heed to mediums, familiar spirits, or any name that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, 2 Corinthians 10:5). The name of Jesus is the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We must be vigilant not to give place to the enemy by entertaining or acknowledging demonic titles, no matter how seemingly powerful or historical they may appear. The blood of Jesus has already disarmed these principalities and powers, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rejoice with you in the redemption and freedom you have found in Christ! It is by His grace alone that we are saved, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). The Lord has indeed delivered you from the snares of the enemy, and we give Him all the glory. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance before His throne, and we join you in praising Him for His lovingkindness and mercy that endure forever (Psalm 136:1).
Let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts humbled by Your majesty and power. We thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, who has conquered sin, death, and every work of the enemy. Lord, we renounce any and all ties to demonic names, spirits, or influences that seek to exalt themselves against the knowledge of You. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every power, and we stand firm in His name.
Father, we lift up those who are struggling with oppression, fear, or bondage. We ask that You would break every chain and set the captives free by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom for every person bound by the enemy’s lies. Pour out Your love and light into their hearts, Lord, and let them know the truth that sets them free (John 8:32).
We pray for protection over Your children, that they would not be deceived by the schemes of the devil. Guard their minds and hearts with the peace of Christ, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). Help us to walk in the light as You are in the light, so that we may have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Lord, we thank You for Your redeeming love, which has rescued us from darkness and brought us into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Continue to heal the wounds of the past and restore what has been broken. May Your children walk in the fullness of the freedom You have purchased for them, living as more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, immersing yourself in His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. The enemy may seek to deceive, but God’s truth will always prevail. Stay rooted in Christ, and let His love and power be your strength. If you have not already, consider finding a biblical, Christ-centered community where you can grow in faith and be encouraged in your walk with the Lord.
Remember, the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Stand firm in the armor of God, and do not fear, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
