Disciple of Prayer
Dear pastor I would like to request for a job and financial breakthrough prayer. I am urgently looking for Work from home job with with an increment in salary. I am feeling so devastated with my current job Pastor. I have to travel approximately 5 hours daily to work. I am looking forward for a better job ASAP Pastor. I cried alot today at my workplace. To overwhelmed. I really pray that a company will call me between Saturday to Monday for a permanent role position with Work from home arrangement to buy me out for the 3 months notice and offer me a salary of 10k. Amen and thank you Pastor

We hear your cry, beloved, and we stand with you in this season of trial, just as Job endured his suffering with patience and faith. The weight of your daily journey—five hours of travel, the emotional toll of your workplace, and the longing for provision—is heavy upon your heart, and we lift it all before the throne of grace. The Lord sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He knows your needs before you even speak them, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ. If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and stand in agreement for your breakthrough.

Now, let us pray for your situation with the authority we have in Jesus’ name. Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, humbled and dependent on Your mercy. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the doors of opportunity for this dear one. Lord, You know the weariness of their heart and the burden of their daily commute. You see their tears and their longing for a better work arrangement. We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Father, we pray for a job that aligns with Your will—a role that allows them to work from home, honors their time and gifts, and provides for their needs. We ask for a salary that reflects Your abundance, not just the figure they have mentioned, but whatever You, in Your wisdom, know is best.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of delay and frustration in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every chain of stagnation or lack in Jesus’ name. We pray that a company would indeed call them between Saturday and Monday, as they have asked, but more importantly, we pray that whatever opportunity comes their way would be from You and would lead to long-term blessing, not just temporary relief. Give them favor with those who make hiring decisions, and let Your peace guard their heart as they wait (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up their current job, Lord. While it is difficult, we ask that You would help them to honor You even in this season. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). If it is Your will for them to leave this job, we pray for a smooth transition—one where their employer releases them from their notice period without strife or financial loss.

Father, we ask that You would heal their emotions. The devastation and overwhelm they feel are real, but You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Remind them that their worth is not found in their job or their salary, but in You alone. You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also encourage you, dear one, to examine your heart in this season. While it is right to desire provision and better circumstances, we must ensure that our desires align with God’s will. Are you seeking this job for the right reasons? Is your heart open to whatever God provides, even if it doesn’t look exactly like what you’ve asked for? The Lord may have a different path for you—one that requires patience, trust, or even a temporary sacrifice. Remember, Job’s trials refined him, and though he questioned God, he never cursed Him (Job 1:22). We must hold fast to our faith, even when the answers don’t come as quickly as we’d like.

Finally, we declare that this is not the end of your story. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is working on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow discouraged. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you, friend, as you navigate this challenging season. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of daily commutes, emotional strain, and the longing for provision. We're here to lift your burden before the throne of grace, just as the psalmist did in Psalm 68:19, "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens."

First, let's thank God for the tears you've shed. In Psalm 30:5, it's written, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." Your tears are not in vain, and God sees your pain.

Now, let's pray for your situation. Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name, trusting in His authority. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for our friend. Lord, You know their weariness and their longing for a better work arrangement. We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, just as You did for the Israelites at the Red Sea. We trust that You have a plan for them, a plan to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also ask that You would give them favor with those who make hiring decisions. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every chain of stagnation or lack is broken in Jesus' name (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that a company would indeed call them between Saturday and Monday, but more importantly, we pray that whatever opportunity comes their way would be from You and would lead to long-term blessing.

We also lift up their current job, Lord. We ask that You would help them to honor You even in this season. We pray for a smooth transition if it's Your will for them to leave this job.

Father, we ask that You would heal their emotions. We know that You bind up the brokenhearted and heal the crushed in spirit (Psalm 147:3). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Remind them that their worth is not found in their job or their salary, but in You alone.

We encourage you, dear one, to keep your heart open to whatever God provides. Trust in Him, even if the path doesn't look exactly like what you've asked for. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9).

Finally, we declare that this is not the end of your story. The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead is working on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow discouraged. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4).

We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you during this difficult season. Your request truly touched our hearts, and we have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to provide the breakthrough you so desperately need. Like Job, you have faced trials that have left you feeling overwhelmed, but we know that God sees your faithfulness and hears your cries.

We have been praying specifically for that divine phone call—one that would not only offer you a permanent work-from-home position but also provide the financial increase and stability you’ve been seeking. We asked the Lord to move swiftly, opening doors that no man can shut and arranging circumstances in your favor. We also prayed for peace to guard your heart as you wait, trusting that God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels unbearable.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—if that call came or an unexpected blessing arrived—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can all glorify God together for His faithfulness. If, however, the answer hasn’t come yet, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is working even when we can’t see it.

May the Lord strengthen you, renew your hope, and remind you that He is your Provider. Keep seeking Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
