LIGHT UP THE WORLD!!

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We lift our hearts together in prayer, standing on the truth of God’s Word, especially the powerful verse you shared from Luke 9:24: "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the profound exchange only Jesus offers, surrendering our own will to gain His eternal life. We join you in praying for your landlord, that he would come to know this truth intimately and surrender his life to Christ.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that no darkness can withstand Your light, for You are the Light of the world (John 8:12). We ask that You would shine brightly into the heart of this landlord, piercing any spiritual blindness or hardness with Your truth. Soften his heart to receive the gospel, that he may turn from his ways and follow You wholeheartedly. We rebuke any unclean spirits that may be influencing him or this situation, for "greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command every obstacle to his salvation to be removed in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and grace in this apartment situation. May Your peace reign in this home, and may Your will be done in every detail. We ask that You would guide the landlord’s decisions and actions, that they would reflect Your righteousness and love. If there are any ungodly influences or motives in his life, whether greed, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we ask that You would convict him and lead him to repentance. Help him to see that true life is found only in You, as Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise that "if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14). We trust that You are working even now to draw this man to Yourself. May he come to know the depth of Your love, the power of Your sacrifice, and the hope of eternal life. Let this situation be a testimony to Your glory, that many would see Your greatness and turn to You.

We also want to encourage you, dear brother or sister, to continue praying with faith and perseverance. Remember that "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in interceding for this landlord, for God is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). If the opportunity arises, share the gospel with him in love, trusting the Holy Spirit to convict and convert.

Finally, we declare that this apartment is under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Any ungodly influences or spiritual oppression must flee, for "the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it" (Psalm 24:1). We speak life, peace, and salvation over this home and its occupants. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done here, as it is in heaven.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're joining you in praying for your landlord's salvation, that's a weighty and beautiful thing to carry on your heart. The core of what you're asking is that he would come to know Jesus, and we stand with you in that.

It's clear you care deeply, not just about the practical side of the apartment situation, but about his eternal well-being. That kind of love reflects God's own heart. While we pray boldly for his conversion, we also recognize that someone's journey to faith is often a process, not a single event. As you pray, don't be discouraged if you don't see an immediate change. Your steady, faithful prayers and your simple, respectful conduct as a tenant are a powerful witness over time.

One practical step you might consider: look for a natural, low-pressure way to express simple kindness or genuine interest in him as a person, not as a project, but as someone made in God's image. A moment of authentic human connection can sometimes soften soil that a sermon could never reach.

Jesus, we lift up this landlord to you. You know his story, his struggles, and what stands between him and a trusting relationship with you. We ask that you would work in his life, removing whatever blinds him, and draw him gently and undeniably to yourself. Grant him the gift of a surrendered life, the kind that truly saves. In the meantime, give our friend wisdom in this rented apartment, peace about the situation, and the right words and actions to reflect your love. Amen.

Thank You father for Lk 18:1, in Jesus' Name.

A heavy plea rises from your heart for the landlord's very soul, and it is right and good to take hold of the promise in Luke's Gospel. The Scripture is plain: he who clings to this present life, to his own will, to his own righteousness, shall lose it all in the end, but the man who loses his life for Christ's sake shall truly find it unto eternal life.

Yet mark this well, the way of salvation for a sinner is not found in a distant seeking as though Christ were far off. The way is simply this, that the sinner, being a sinner, does now put his trust in Christ Jesus the Substitute for sinners. Properly speaking, Christ is not an object for seeking; He is not far from any of us, like the brazen serpent uplifted by Moses, He is not so much to be looked for as looked at. The awakened soul often looks east and west to behold a wonder, while the Wonderful, the Savior, stands at his right hand ready to forgive. Never was a soul repulsed that came to Him, though black as midnight, though guilty of enough crimes to condemn it to all eternity! Under no supposable circumstance will Jesus Christ ever cast away a sinner who comes to Him. Therefore, let this landlord be urged by your word and your example not to seek a sign, but to look at the Crucified One. He must be willing and obedient, and he shall have Christ, for it is written, "Whoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

You who pray, continue to tell the good news that Jesus comes, not merely to pass by, nor even to sojourn for a night, but to come and take possession of the heart forever. But remember this: if you have done that which seemed to be your duty on this occasion, may there not be yet more for you to do? There is very much land yet to be possessed for King Jesus. Enlarge your desires for the glory of King Jesus, and take down your harps from the willows. Be encouraged, for Jesus Christ loosens the prisoners. He is the Lord, the Liberator, and God has given commandment to save, and this soul shall be saved from going down to the pit if there is but a looking to Jesus.

And as for you and all who pray, let none forget that salvation is of the Lord alone. Work, not to obtain life, but because you have life already and delight to exercise that life to the honor of Him who gave it. You serve the Lord Christ, and what an exaltation to be given a share in His gracious work. Our hearts long to offer something to Jesus, distinctly to Jesus, Himself. This is a good offering, to plead, to love, and to proclaim that the landord, by a simple trust, may become a new creature in Christ Jesus, his flesh becoming fresher than that of a little child. To know Jesus Christ is eternal life. Let this truth bring peace and joy to your own heart while you wait to see His greatness and power made manifest.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Let us aim this prayer where Christ aimed it: not only at the rented apartment, but at the soul of the man. I will gladly ask with you that the landlord would lose his life for Jesus Christ and so save it. But let us not speak as though our declarations control his will. Salvation belongs to the Lord. We may entreat, we may weep, we may suffer, and we may live in such a way that the word of the cross is set before him. We cannot command him into the kingdom.

Remember that the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. It is no strange thing if this man resists. Those who do not know the things that lead to salvation often regard the bearers of those things as troublesome. Therefore do not place your hope in a show of power, but in patient endurance. If you are wronged in this matter, bear it for his soul's sake, as Paul endured bonds and slander for the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Let us pray then with supplication, not as those using a formula, but as sinners asking mercy for a sinner.

Lord Jesus, you alone are the light that scatters darkness, and you alone can turn a heart. We do not declare victory over this man as if our words could save him. We ask you to conquer him by your mercy. Grant the landlord repentance. Show him that the life he is clutching is passing away, and that the only life worth having is the life laid down for you. Open his ears to the gospel and give him a heart that is careful to hear, brave to obey, and released from the love of the world. We ask for his true salvation, not merely for our convenience or peace in an apartment. And for us who pray, grant that we may not seek to save our own little comforts while ignoring his soul. Teach us to lose what we must lose, to suffer what we must suffer, and to count it joy if Christ is magnified. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, whose cross is the salvation of the world. Amen.

We are joining with you in prayer for your landlord according to Luke 9:24. Jesus taught that whoever tries to hold on to his own life and live for himself will lose it, but whoever surrenders his life for Jesus will save it. That is the choice every person must make, and it is a choice about eternity.

We pray that your landlord will make that surrender now. Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and it is offered freely to whoever will come. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will never cast out, no matter how far someone has gone. This salvation is great because it is open to anyone who will receive it, and it brings not only forgiveness but the promise of eternal life in His kingdom.

That salvation is very near. It is not far away in heaven that someone must go to bring it down. It is as close as the mouth and the heart. If a person confesses with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, he will be saved. To confess Him now, while there is opportunity, is unto salvation and eternal life. To wait until a later day to acknowledge that He is Lord will not be unto salvation, but only to acknowledge the truth too late.

That is why we urge not to receive the grace of God in vain and not to neglect so great a salvation. There is no escape if we neglect what Jesus Himself began to speak and what was confirmed to us. His name itself means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. We cannot save ourselves by our own effort or goodness. Salvation is entirely by His grace and His work on our behalf, received through faith which He Himself provides. We are His workmanship, and once we have received that gift we are called to live it out with reverence, not working for salvation but living out what He has already worked within us.

So we pray together for your landlord:

Lord Jesus, You reign over all darkness and Your light drives out darkness. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon this man. We pray that You would open his heart to see his need and to receive Your great salvation today, while it is still called today. Help him to stop trying to save his own life on his own terms, and instead to lose his life for Your sake, confessing You as Lord and believing that God raised You from the dead, so that he will truly save it. Draw him by Your Spirit, forgive his sins, and make him Yours. Let him know Your love and faithfulness and the peace that comes from assurance in Your grace. We ask that everyone involved in this rented apartment situation would see Your greatness and power and that You would be his rock, his defense and his salvation. We trust You to guide his journey and we thank You that no one can withstand Your mighty power to save. In Jesus name, Amen.
