Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand together in agreement with your heartfelt plea, lifting up this landlord before the throne of grace. The scripture you referenced, Luke 9:24, reminds us of the profound truth that surrendering our lives to Christ is the path to true life. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the very essence of the Gospel, dying to self so that Christ may live in us.

We recognize that the battle for this landlord’s soul is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness, as Ephesians 6:12 tells us: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Therefore, we take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father, and the only name by which salvation is found. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We rebuke every spirit of hardness, greed, or indifference that may be blinding this landlord to the truth of the Gospel. We declare that the light of Christ will shine brightly in his heart, piercing through every shadow of doubt or resistance. As 2 Corinthians 4:6 proclaims, "For God, who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ." We pray that his eyes would be opened to see the goodness and mercy of the Lord, and that his heart would be softened to receive the love of Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would draw this landlord to Yourself. Let Your Holy Spirit convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Jesus promised in John 16:8. We ask that You would surround him with believers who will speak truth into his life and model the love of Christ. Lord, we pray that he would come to know You not just as a distant concept but as a living, loving Savior who gave His life for him.

We also lift up the situation surrounding this rented apartment. We pray for peace, resolution, and godly wisdom for all involved. May this circumstance become a testimony of Your faithfulness and a catalyst for spiritual breakthrough. We declare that no weapon formed against this situation will prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17, and that Your purposes will prevail.

Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even in ways we cannot yet see. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to be bold witnesses of Your truth and grace. May this landlord come to experience the joy of salvation and the freedom that comes from surrendering his life to You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in that prayer, it’s a real gift when someone lands on your heart this way. What you’re asking for is simply that your landlord would turn toward the life Jesus holds out to him, the kind that isn’t found by clinging to our own plans. We can ask that together with confidence, because God cares for him even more than you do.

That kind of change usually doesn’t happen in a single moment; it often comes through small cracks of light over time. Your steady, honest presence as a tenant may be one of those cracks. When we show up with fairness and genuine care, we make the gospel visible before we ever speak a word. So don’t underestimate the weight of ordinary kindness here.

If an opening comes naturally at some point, you might simply mention how your faith has steadied you in hard times, or invite him to something at your church that feels approachable. No forcing. We’re just available, and we trust the Holy Spirit to handle the deep work.

Lord Jesus, we lift this landlord into Your hands. You see his whole life, every resistance and every hidden ache. Draw him gently out of self-protection and into the safety of losing his life in You. Give our friend wisdom and calmness, and let their everyday interactions become a quiet invitation. We leave the outcome with You, knowing You are patient and faithful. In Your name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

How graciously the Lord has laid this verse upon your heart. Truly, there is no life but the life that is hidden in Christ, and no saving of the soul but by the losing of it. To clutch at this world, its comforts, its possessions, its self-rule, is to forfeit everything. But to let go of all and fall into the pierced hands of Jesus is to find life eternal. Your prayer for the landlord is a sweet echo of this very truth. You ask that he may give his life to the Lord Jesus, and in that giving he will indeed save it. This is not a mere turning over a new leaf, but a resurrection from the dead, a passing from spiritual death into that life which Christ alone imparts. He gives unto His sheep eternal life, and they shall never perish. That life is not a temporary thrill, but an everlasting possession; it cannot be lost because it is the very life of the risen Son of God reproduced in the soul by the Holy Spirit.

You have pleaded the victory of our Lord over all darkness and unclean spirits, and you have done well. Our Redeemer is mighty; He has power over all flesh, and He gives eternal life to as many as the Father has given Him. Darkness cannot resist His light, nor can the stubborn will of man ultimately withstand the gentle violence of His grace when He purposes to save. Let us continue to beseech Him on behalf of this landlord, that he may no longer ask with the disobedient, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?” but rather cry out with a broken heart, “Lord, what will You have me to do?” It is the sure work of the Spirit to bring a man down to the grave of self-despair, so that he may be raised up by the life of Christ. Pray that the landlord may be emptied of all self-trust, that he may see death written upon all his carnal hopes, and that he may then lay hold on eternal life by laying hold on Christ.

Stand firm in this confidence: the eternal life which Jesus gives is the very life that overcomes the world. It is a life that feeds upon Him, that follows His example, and that delights in communion with God. This is the path of life, and in His presence is fullness of joy. May the Holy Spirit graciously draw this man, and may you have the unspeakable joy of seeing him pass from death unto life. Go on praying with this text as your anchor, for the promise is sure. He who loses his life for Christ’s sake shall find it unto life eternal. To know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent, this is life indeed. Let your faith soar upon these wings, and trust Jesus to be the All in All for this precious soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring the words of the Lord: whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ will save it. Learn from Zacchaeus the publican. When he welcomed Jesus into his house, immediately he said, “Half my goods I give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone, I restore fourfold.” To him the Lord declared, “Today salvation has come to this house.” So possible it is by every means to be taught. Salvation came not merely from faith but from a life turned upside down, from a heart that held nothing back. Pray then that this landlord, like Zacchaeus, will hear the Lord’s call and surrender all, counting his own life as nothing so that he may truly live.

Make your prayer watchful and unceasing, as Hannah did, who after the feast did not run to sleep but poured out her tears before the Lord. She offered back the very child she sought. Such prayer is a mighty weapon; it overcomes shamelessness, injustice, and even God’s own seeming silence. Do not think belief alone secures eternal life; a right life must follow. Yet take courage: those who are cast out for the truth find the Lord awaiting them. The blind man was driven from the synagogue and met the Fountain of salvation. So he who loses his life for Christ’s sake finds honor both now and in eternity. Continue your entreaty, for the Lord is faithful to seek and save the lost.

What a powerful verse to anchor your prayer. Jesus’ words in Luke 9:24 cut straight to the heart: the only way to truly find life is to let go of everything we cling to and surrender to Him. You are asking exactly what God desires, that this landlord would stop chasing a life that will slip through his fingers and instead receive the eternal life that only Christ can give.

As you pray, remember that the same God who once commanded light to shine out of darkness has the power to shine that light into a human heart. Darkness and light cannot share the same space. When the light of Jesus breaks in, the darkness of sin and rebellion is driven out by a far greater force. You do not need to plead as though the outcome is uncertain; you are standing on the promise that no one can withstand His mighty mercy once He begins to draw a person to Himself.

Do not grow discouraged if the change seems slow. God’s appointed times are often different from ours, and life on this earth is but a vapor. What feels like a drawn-out struggle is still just a moment compared to eternity. The Lord is interceding for the lost even now, and His mercy and justice met perfectly at the cross. Because Jesus paid the penalty for sin, God can be both just and the one who justifies anyone who turns to Him. That includes this landlord.

So keep holding up the light. Walk in it yourself, living a life of faithful commitment, because the reality of Christ in you becomes a witness that the world cannot argue against. As you pray, thank God that the life He gives is not something we earn but a gift received by confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. Ask that the landlord would stop avoiding the light, see the truth revealed, and hear the call to awake from spiritual death so that Christ can give him life. Eternal life is in the Son, and whoever has the Son has life. May the landlord soon discover that losing his old life for Jesus is the only way to truly live.
