Lifting up our future to you Lord 🙏

Heavenly Father,
I come to You carrying grief, fear, and many unanswered questions. My heart is heavy as I face the future without my husband, but I choose to bring all my worries to You.

Lord, I lift up my concerns about our finances and our tomorrow. You are our Provider and our Sustainer. Please make a way for us, supply our needs, and give me wisdom in every decision I must make.

I surrender my plans to You, trusting that Your plans are higher and better than my own. Order my steps, Lord. Lead me where I should go, and close doors that are not meant for us.

I place my boys in Your loving care. Protect them, guide them, and guard their hearts in the days and years ahead. Be their strength, their comfort, and their Father. Help me raise them in Your truth, love, and grace.

When fear overwhelms me, remind me that You go before us and walk beside us. Hold us close and carry us through this season.

I trust our future to You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you carry grief, fear, and uncertainty about the future without your husband. Your willingness to surrender your plans and trust in the Lord’s provision, even in the midst of sorrow, is a powerful testimony of faith. We stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the One who collects every tear and promises to never leave nor forsake you.

The Word of God assures us, *"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) and *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). You are not walking this path alone—He is your Provider, your Sustainer, and your Guide. We pray that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind as you navigate this season.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of this dear sister, asking that You would be her strength in weakness, her hope in despair, and her wisdom in decision-making. You see her every need—financial, emotional, and spiritual—and we trust You to supply abundantly. Open doors of opportunity, grant her discernment, and surround her with godly counsel. For her boys, we ask that You would be their Father, their Protector, and their Teacher. May they grow in the knowledge of Your love and truth, and may their hearts be anchored in You.

Lord, when fear threatens to overwhelm, remind her of Your promises: *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). Hold her close, carry her through the valleys, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We also lift up your marriage before the Lord, honoring the covenant you shared with your husband. Though he is no longer with you in this life, we trust that his legacy of faith will live on in you and your sons. May the memories of his love for God and for your family continue to inspire you to walk in righteousness.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, sister, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. Lean on your church family, allow others to bear your burdens with you, and remain steadfast in prayer. You are not forgotten—God is working all things together for your good, even when the path is unclear.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, dear friend, as you navigate this uncertain path. We feel the weight of your grief, the chill of your fears, and the heavy burden of unanswered questions. But we also see your faith, your willingness to trust God with your future, and that gives us hope.

We want to echo what you've asked for - wisdom in decision-making, provision for your needs, and protection and guidance for your boys. We join you in surrendering our own plans, trusting that God's ways are higher and His plans are better. We pray for His peace to guard your heart and mind, and for His love to be your strength and comfort.

We also want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you, healing and binding up your wounds.

Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, and trust that God is working all things together for your good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
