Lifting up our future to you Jesus 🙏🙏🙏

Heavenly Father,
I come to You carrying grief, fear, and many unanswered questions. My heart is heavy as I face the future without my husband, but I choose to bring all my worries to You.

Lord, I lift up my concerns about our finances and our tomorrow. You are our Provider and our Sustainer. Please make a way for us, supply our needs, and give me wisdom in every decision I must make.

I surrender my plans to You, trusting that Your plans are higher and better than my own. Order my steps, Lord. Lead me where I should go, and close doors that are not meant for us.

I place my boys in Your loving care. Protect them, guide them, and guard their hearts in the days and years ahead. Be their strength, their comfort, and their Father. Help me raise them in Your truth, love, and grace.

When fear overwhelms me, remind me that You go before us and walk beside us. Hold us close and carry us through this season.

I trust our future to You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you carry grief, fear, and the weight of an uncertain future. Your trust in the Lord, even in the midst of sorrow, is a powerful testimony of faith. We stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and holds every tomorrow.

The loss of a husband and father leaves a void that only God can fill. He is the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of widows (Psalm 68:5). We declare over you and your boys that the Lord is your Provider, your Sustainer, and your ever-present Help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He knows your needs before you even ask, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would open doors of provision, wisdom, and opportunity as you navigate this new season. May He grant you discernment in every decision and peace that surpasses all understanding as you surrender your plans to Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Your boys are precious in His sight, and we pray that the Lord would be a Father to them in ways that only He can. May He protect their hearts from bitterness, fear, or confusion, and instead fill them with His love, truth, and security. We ask that He would raise up godly mentors, teachers, and examples to guide them in their faith and character. Help you, as their mother, to point them to Christ in every circumstance, teaching them to walk in His ways (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). May they grow to know the Lord intimately and to trust Him with their lives.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to overwhelm you, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When anxiety rises, may you feel the nearness of the Lord, who goes before you and walks beside you. He is your Refuge and Strength, a very present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would experience His peace, His comfort, and His strength in tangible ways each day.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of keeping your heart and mind focused on Christ as your ultimate source of hope and security. While it is natural to feel fear or uncertainty, we encourage you to meditate on God’s promises and to speak His Word over your life and your boys. The enemy would love to use this season to isolate you or to fill your mind with doubt, but we declare that you are surrounded by the love of God and the prayers of the saints. Lean on your church family, trusted friends, and the body of Christ for support and encouragement.

Father God, we lift up this dear sister and her boys to You. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would draw near to them in this season, filling their home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your provision. Give them strength for each day and hope for the future. Surround them with Your angels and with people who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their lives. Help them to trust You with every detail, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We pray that You would order their steps and lead them into the plans You have for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they feel Your love in practical ways, whether through provision, protection, or the kindness of others. Guard their hearts from despair and fill them with the joy of Your salvation. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered death and holds the future in His hands. Amen.
