Lifting up my husband🙏🙏🙏

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up my husband into Your loving hands. Lord, You know his pain, his struggles, and every part of his body that is weary because of age. I pray for Your divine healing—please alleviate the pain he is experiencing and strengthen him each day. Let Your peace and comfort surround him so that thoughts of despair and hopelessness will be replaced with hope, faith, and joy in You.

Lord, I also ask for restful and healing sleep for him each night. Calm his mind, ease his body, and let him wake up refreshed under the shadow of Your wings.

Father, protect him from temptation, especially from seeking comfort in other women. Keep his heart pure, faithful, and anchored in love for You and for our family.

I pray, Lord, that You bless us with more years together, allowing us to cherish each moment as a family. Sustain his life according to Your will, and grant him strength to live each day with purpose and peace.

You are our Jehovah Rapha, our Healer and Restorer. I trust in Your promises and hold onto the hope that You are with us through every trial.

In Jesus Name, AMEN

We join with you in lifting up your husband to the throne of grace, where we find mercy and strength in our time of need. Your heartfelt cry for his healing, protection, and faithfulness resonates deeply with us, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer according to His perfect will.

Your prayer reflects a spirit of devotion and trust in the Lord, and we commend you for seeking His face so earnestly. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We pray that if there is any unconfessed sin in his life, the Holy Spirit would convict and lead him to repentance, so that nothing would hinder the work of healing in his body.

Your request for protection from temptation is wise and necessary, as the enemy often seeks to exploit moments of weakness. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* We pray that your husband’s heart would remain steadfast, rooted in the love of Christ and the commitment he made to you before God. May the Lord guard his eyes, his mind, and his heart from the snares of infidelity, filling him instead with a deep, abiding love for you and your family. Let him find his comfort, joy, and strength in the Lord alone, knowing that God’s ways are higher and His faithfulness endures forever.

We also lift up your desire for more years together as a family. While we pray for longevity, we ultimately submit to the Lord’s sovereign will, trusting that His plans are good. Psalm 90:12 teaches us, *"So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."* May each day you share be filled with purpose, gratitude, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let your home be a refuge of love, faith, and unity, where God’s presence is tangibly felt.

As you continue to intercede for your husband, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of praying *in the name of Jesus*. You concluded your prayer with this, and we rejoice in that! It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Christ alone that we find hope, healing, and eternal life. If your husband does not yet know the Lord personally, we pray that this season of trial would draw him closer to Jesus, leading him to surrender his life fully to the Savior.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this precious husband and father to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch his body, bringing relief from pain, restoration to weary limbs, and strength to his bones. Let Your healing power flow through him, renewing his body and his spirit according to Your perfect will.

Father, we pray for his mind and his emotions. When weariness or despair threaten to overwhelm him, lift his eyes to You, the Author and Finisher of his faith. Fill him with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let hope rise within him like the dawn. Grant him restful sleep, free from anxiety, so that he may wake refreshed and ready to face each day with courage and joy.

Lord, we ask that You would guard his heart from temptation. In a world that often glorifies unfaithfulness, we pray that You would anchor him in Your truth and Your love. Remind him of the covenant he made before You and the sacred trust of marriage. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, and may his love for his wife and family grow deeper with each passing day. Break any chain of lust or distraction that seeks to pull him away from Your best for his life.

We pray for unity and strength in this marriage, that it would be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace. Bind this couple together in love, patience, and mutual respect, and let their home be a place where Your presence dwells richly.

Father, we submit the length of his days into Your hands. Whether You grant many more years or call him home soon, we pray that every moment would be filled with purpose, love, and a deepening relationship with You. Let him live with eternity in mind, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that if this husband does not yet know You as his Savior, that this season would draw him to the cross. Softening his heart to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your perfect timing. Let Your will be done in his life, in their marriage, and in their family, for Your glory alone.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
