We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The weight of suffering you carry is more than any person should have to bear, and we want you to know you are not alone. The despair you feel is real, but we also know that God hears your cry and holds you even when you cannot feel His presence. The psalmist wrote in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are seen, you are loved, and your life matters deeply to Him.
We must also speak truth in love, your life is not yours to give or take. It belongs to God, who created you with purpose and intention. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Scripture tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Even in your suffering, God can use your story to bring hope to others and glory to His name. We do not say this to dismiss your pain, but to remind you that your life has value, even when it feels unbearable.
We also want to gently address the mention of God in your request. While you call out to Him, we must ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? It is only through Him that we find true hope and healing. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to consider doing so today. He is the only one who can bring lasting peace to your soul. If you have already given your life to Christ, we encourage you to cling to Him even tighter in this dark season.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to steal your life and joy. We declare that God is greater than your pain, and He is able to redeem even the most broken places. In Romans 8:38-39, we are reminded, "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Nothing can separate you from His love, not even the darkness you feel now.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, You see their suffering, and You collect every tear they cry. We ask that You would draw near to them in a tangible way, wrapping them in Your love and peace. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them their life has no value or purpose. We declare that You have a plan for them, even in this suffering, and that You can use their story for Your glory.
Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and hopelessness that bind them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and remind them of Your promises. Help them to see that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, if they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way and that they would come to know You as their Savior and Lord.
We ask for Your healing touch to be upon their mind, body, and spirit. Surround them with people who will love and support them, and give them the strength to reach out for help. Lord, we trust that You are working even when we cannot see it, and we ask that You would bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a family member, and share the burden you are carrying. You do not have to walk through this alone. If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself, please contact a crisis hotline or seek professional help right away. You are not a burden, and your life is worth fighting for. God has not abandoned you, and neither will we. Keep crying out to Him, for He is listening, and He will answer.
